I have always loved the idea you mentioned about putting desserts in champagne glasses/glasses. I think it would be fun for you to do a video of “recipes” for all the different things you put in them. LOVE your videos. The Shopgoodwill was one of my favorites because it led to me winning 3 auctions of Old Country Roses china locally from the same donation. I got over 100 pieces for less than $400 with tax and all the pieces were in excellent condition, many stamped England. I recently won an auction for 6 boxed demitasse spoons to match among several other items I’ve purchased. I’ve also gotten into doing the high end estate sales near me where I recently purchased a pair of 6” Waterford (not Marquis) candlesticks for $5 total among other things. Needless to say you’ve created a little monster and I am very grateful. My hutch looks amazing thanks to you. 🌹
I love the idea of a lemon mousse in the champagne glasses. I could even see gifting a set of the saucer champagnes, dressed in yellow ribbons with a recipe for lemon mousse. So often we only see the original purpose for items and fail to see the possibilities.
What a wonderful day of shopping,! So many wonderful items. I absolutely LOVE the teapot you found, I have been looking for one for a while now. Thanks, as always, for taking us along. ❤️😊
Thank you so much! That teapot was still in the oval box sitting on a back room counter. I recognized that it was a teapot because I had recently purchased a pine cone design one at Charity Guild Shop with the original box. Perfect timing for sure.
What a nice relaxing Sunday morning watching your video. I always enjoy your shopping at this location. You can be certain of some fantastic finds. Thanks so much for bringing us great videos.
Oh dear. It’s me again. I love that you got your jacket and purse and found an other sandwich server. I do love watching you finding things. It makes me encouraged in my life!
Love how you show pretty things to us. I do enjoy seeing sale stores and it helps us to keep learning and finding lovely ‘old’ that are fun and beautiful to find!
Lady Mary Beth, you always look so lovely. And I love when you share your shopping finds , and I am looking forward to your next videos . And what cute outfit you will be wearing ☺️
Hi LADY MARYBETH I TRULY ENJOYED THIS SHOPPING TRIP.I SAW SOME BEAUTIES I OWN BUT TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THEM😂😂.THAT COMES WITH AGING 😂.I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR SHOPPING SPREES.YOUR TASTE IS EXQUSITE
I loved the blue elegant dish you found in the June pattern. I had never seen that dish before. I have dinner plates & water goblets in blue June that I just love & use when entertaining dinner guests.
i haven't been there in a while! my sister owns a barber shop near there. i just recently bought the josef 4 and 5 at the guild! the wedgwood vase i thought i bought at charity guild shop was put behind the counter along with my moms crystal champagne bucket and we forgot to get them at check out! we have to go back on wed and pray they still have it. we also bought a $112 curio at blue bird circle. it is pretty ugly but the price was too good and mom needed extra storage for all her teacups.
Hope your treasures are still there! Sorry that they were forgotten behind the counter. So frustrating. Now, I need to see a pic of that curio cabinet.
As always, saw many treasures and learned things. (Which for me is also a treasure) the victorian cabinet/sideboard is fabulous. The seascape I caught a glimpse of. who doesn't admire a silver candelabra. And I could totally imagine a lemon mousse in the beautiful champagne glass. Your comment about having to turn everything over made me laugh. Believe me...all of us who watch love that you turn everything over!❣ Thank you!
Hi Mary-Beth, now I am through with all of your videos, it took me two months. Since today I am the proud owner of my first rose bowl from Waterford (there is no sign, 16 cuts, looks like pineapple) from E-Bay and a new in the box vase, Kieran pattern for 27€. We don’t have Waterford here in Germany, only the German labels. There is a huge difference in prices, when I compare the online retail, must be much better quality than our Nachtmann. I love your videos, learnt so much, especially about your brands and culture. We don’t have snack sets, punch bowls , 5piece place settings, ice tea glasses, as you probably know. Thank you so much, you are amazing.
Oh, I need that leather lounger for my work break! That bamboo table!!! The Mexican glass is for me! And the champagne glasses! I am coming with you next time! X
What a great selection in that shop and presented so nicely. I’m curious as to what would be placed in the middle of the deviled egg dish. See you next time.
I would be interested to hear how you use your salt cellars. I have a small collection and enjoy just looking at the pieces. I've used the master salts to hold individually wrapped candies and add the colored salts to china arrangements for a pop of color. However, I think there must be more ideas! Thank you!
I think you should visit an Ethan Allen or Stickley to compare prices...you tend to compare furniture prices and I would bet that what you think is $1500 new is actually $2500 or more new now!!! Resale and Consignment really cant be beat!!!!!!
My daughter who said she wanted to get rid of her China and crystal MAY be changing her mind! Her house is for sale, and many of the people who were at her open house raved about her “beautiful China.” Maybe she thinks her mom isn’t such a “dinosaur after all! You said she might change her mind, but I guess it takes a stranger appreciating what to have to make an impression. You are wise one Mary Beth!
That white couch would have been very tempting even if my tiger cat would have shed all his black stripes on it. (The white fur from his coat of course shows up on my back coat.). I would have definitely had to take home the stemware with the little children as the stem. I found them not just very unusual but really charming
Hi Mary Beth, l love your Chanel. So much to see and learn. I have a problem with my own furniture. It’s cherry, Queen Anne. However there’s lots of scratch and wear Madrid. I’m very upset I can’t find someone to repair it. I’ve tried the furn pens and good stains and nothing works. What would you suggest.

Thrilled to hear of your many finds! 🙌🏻
I think I'm familiar with that monster!
I had a friend who had ALL the ceramic birthday dolls - I coveted them so badly when I was a kid!!!!!
I can understand how you coveted these. My friend had Joan Walsh Anglund dolls. I thought she was lucky and loved to have such a vast collection.
I love your dress. Very flattering!
@13:56 That looks exactly like my Norwegian Blue Fox Coat! It's so cozy and warm!
What a nice resale shop!
That Japanese cloisonne vase at 20:17 was breathtaking, I gasp when the camera caught it.

Pull those beautiful treasures from the cabinet and enjoy them. Thanks for coming along!
Maybe it's not so much an "age" thing, but rather "an out of sight" thing!
(But with me it would definitely be an "age" thing!)
Lovely teapot💙
I loved the blue elegant dish you found in the June pattern. I had never seen that dish before. I have dinner plates & water goblets in blue June that I just love & use when entertaining dinner guests.

Those backstamps tell quite a story. It's sometimes like getting the keys to the castle. Thanks for your kind comment.
Or a nice refreshing lemon sorbet in those champagne glasses!
A wonderful resale shop. I need to drive over to Houston to shop and visit a dear friend..
Great idea to visit your friend and take her resale shopping.

@@LadyMaryBeth I hear it! I hear it! ;-) x

Have seen pickles and relish in the center. Contrary to my Southern roots, I do not serve deviled eggs. 🤷🏼♀️
I found two of the Kings Road cups that match your teapot at a thrift store several months back. Great shop and video!
Wow, did not realize they made matching teacups.
@@LadyMaryBeth Mine might be coffee cups.
Oooooooooh! Let's go! :-)

You are 💯% correct on that!
La jarra divina en cristal
In Calif Metlock dishes are banned. Their glazes are lead based.
Wow, did not know this. 😱

So happy to hear this!!! 🍽😀
I’m wondering how many of these kids are going to change their minds as a they get older
Age brings wisdom, and a lot of stuff for estate sales! Some things and memories will stay tho.
Good afternoon lady Mary Beth ,it’s 4pm I’m coming with you sending lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good afternoon, Ann! 🙋🏼♀️

Jenny, you brought back memories: Our Dalmatian did the same, shed black on white and white on black - very hard to remove.

There are products online to rejuvenate cherry wood furniture. Have had some pieces refinished, but this is quite costly.
I didn't find a shop link where I could actually shop for items
Follow Houston Junior Forum Resale on social media. They post items regularly and you can call in to purchase. Local pick-up only as far as I know.
Ustedes hacen envíos a Barranquilla de las compras que uno les haga?
