lol 2 videos yesterday convinced me to take the leap, been going to do it for 20 yrs. What i will tell everyone is the stadium seats are about 50 bucks now, but worth it. I'm adding 2 stabilizers to mine soon. just for ease of mind
The seat he has on his and the seat I put on mine is only 16$ at Walmart. Not 50$ at least nowhere in the US.

@@ustinummins1837 Went to Walmart, in the fall I believe. Maybe just as summer was about to end and they had that one marked for 85$. I made sure it wasn't like a 85$ off. Crazy thing is we had my wife's mini Cooper and I talked them into holding it for me, it's against regulation I guess, to go get my subi. And bought it lol. I think they just didn't sell it and they need the room for season displays so they marked it way the f*** down.

Perfect example of how you don’t need to spend thousands for an enjoyable fishing kayak. Don’t get me wrong the premium kayaks are amazing, but for the average person this is all you need. Only thing I would splurge on it a nice paddle. A good quality paddle can make all the difference.
How does the wood attach to the kayak? Did you drill into it?
I have this kayak and I put a crate in the back. 8 have a really hard time turning around to grab stuff out of it without worrying about flipping it. That seat was a nice upgrade. How much more tippy did it make it? Can it handle swells from all the idiot boater and jet skis
The seat does raise the center of gravity, and yes it does make it feel a little bit more tippy. Being on a lake or something where those crazy boaters are zipping by, it probably would feel uneasy.

Hard to stand on and fish?
Yea it’s super difficult to stay standing, and especially if you try fishing. If you have really good balance give it a try like I did, what’s the worst that can happen lol!
