Jacob, Justin, I have news that should please both of you. In light of Alex banning Miis from racing, and thus preventing me from participating in a Wave 5 tournament (and as such, was unable to bring Oddball to the tournament tonight), I revisited an idea I discussed with Stickman on his Petey time trial at Electrodrome. That idea has now been completed and is successful. It was surprisingly easy to complete, since I was less than 2 seconds behind Alex's time with an outdated version of Huge Island (so outdated, in fact, that the time trial was completed before I even found the GwA community) and swapping out Koopa Troopa (a.k.a. Koopa the Quick when I'm the one controlling the Huge Island combo) for Father Boo was more than enough to get the necessary Speed to beat Alex's time. If you're interested in the full combo I used, it's Father Boo in the Cat Cruiser with Sponge tires and the Plane Glider. I call it "From Indonesia with Love" because I first saw the combo used by Kureiji Ollie (a VTuber from the Indonesia branch of Hololive). So now Alex now has to live with Father Boo beating his time on his favorite course in the game. 👻😆👑 The moral of this story? Do not mess with Oddball. 😈

Apologies in advance for this timestamp, but I gotta ask. What the *BEEP* happened here? This was potentially worse than what I referenced in the Short 2 timestamps ago, depending on whether or not Ren was able to make a Final Lap comeback. If this trend continues, I may need to put Sydney Sprint on my "watch at your own risk" list, but since it's not Los Angeles 🗑, I'll definitely be watching future Sydney videos. I just need to be aware of how ugly things could get.

But at least neither of us swerved to the outside like somebody did to me and Alex at SNES Rainbow Road during one of my earliest tournaments in this community. Whoever did that was definitely guilty of dirty play, and I have long since forgotten who the guilty party was.

Both were great bomb spots. The first timestamp was only talking about the Bob-Omb from a second or two later, as when I provided that commentary, I had no idea Lexus was going to drop a Bob-Omb less than 10 seconds later.

Sometimes "not boring" is a double-edged sword. I'm getting "A Tale of Two Santas" flashbacks when Bender was being executed between 2 magnets. I forget the line leading to Professor Farnsworth's response, but I clearly remember the professor saying "but it's not boring".

There was still a little more time before the shock needed to be used, but whichever player used it thought it was better to use it a little too early than a little too late, especially since I didn't notice any dodges here.
I'd have probably waited until first place was approaching a glider section, but waiting would run the risk of giving other players a dodge that they weren't given by the shock being used here.
