- Since it's throw back Thursday I thought I'd share this with you all. I plan to upload an old program every Thursday and see if you all enjoy them or not. Here's a look back to how we first started out over 30 years ago. You can still watch us around the country on your local television station. Growing up in San Diego, I watched your show every weekend, now I'm in Louisiana, and found your CZcams channel, love your videos!
Now the shogun lives in beautiful San diego catching big blue fin...I love so cal sportfishing
Remember the Shogun was sold and he bought the new shogun, which is now in SD. that boat mite be the OG that we fished on quite a bit out of LA....GOOD TIMES !! The old shogun was renamed to,, TopGun. Not sure where it is now,,,i heard it was renamed again...

was on tv after the cartoons or wwf I never missed a program. There's lots of old videos there of some big catches and very happy moments in all the programs thats why I did not missed it ever sat 12-1 pm.Thank you for all your great work.Yes I live to fish to.

Cool video Dan. Check you out over 30 years ago! Some of those guys had mullets so it must have been 30+ years ago. Would love to see more of your first shows from back in those days.

Hi Dan, awesome content...have u ever made a video about the best season to fish for each species of fish (yellow tail, blue fin, dorado, bass). Would be great to have this info for someone like me who is not a local and want to plan a trip to the west coast. Many thanks!

I worked for sport chalet from 1999 to 2016! Was this episode filmed at the Huntington beach store?
This was one of the first trips the Shogun ever made. Sorry I don't remember where we filmed that tackle box segment.
