The fact that I live in the same country as Hasbro and never see any figures like this but the guy in Australia who has worser issues can get these guys before me is crazy
You may live in the same company as Hasbro. But Australia is closer to the factory so they get figure shipments faster than the US

I think packing them in altmode is a great idea, with the open packaging. It's harder for heads and legs to be ripped off/for them to fall off when they're all folded away
It's really funny to me that the worst figures (Road Rocket and Blurr) are the ones I can't find anywhere, and they're the ones I really want. I have Hauler and Override and I love them--picked them up the day of release, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Scourge is a solid "maybe" for me. His deco is too Nemesis Prime for me, when the cartoon had more greys and greens. I want him to look more like his own character, if that makes sense? I've got a ton of Nemesis Primes already, if I get Scourge I want him to feel like I haven't wasted my money on the same toy for the third time

Real talk. I LOVE the sideswipe mold. It's great to just sit there and transform back and forth while watching a video. I imagine it's a great fidget toy. (Wfc deep cover got me back into collecting transformers since I was a kid)
Blurr is probably my least favorite for the reasons you mentioned. I'm at least gald my copy has tighter joints and can hold his gun.
Road Rocket's main faults are just inherent to the Arcee mold. Nothing against her.
Clampdown? He's the Sideswipe mold. You can't go wrong with the Sideswipe mold.
Still don't have Cosmos.
Burnout is just a delight. I don't have Skids but I'm lowkey glad I skipped him. The mold looks so good in black.
Override is easily the best of the line. It managed to outdo the original figure in almost every way and FEELS like a toy from 2005 in all the best ways.
Road Hauler? What can I say, I love the Grapferno mold, and having it in my favorite color? Yes please!

Override is definitely the star of this wave. She stands out as the most well-constructed modern TF figure I've ever handled. Joints are tight, everything is pegged in securely, the wheels aren't clip-ons but instead are on metal pins, the amount of paint-apps are just right, no obvious hollow areas in robot mode, and she just looks so good. Seriously someone at Hasbro or Walmart must have a soft spot for this character.
To think she was made because someone had to take as little material as possible to make a completely original mold so in a way she seems to be a business after thought that some designer spent sleepless nights to make happen
The only one I got was Override and I grabbed her in a heartbeat while the shelf stocker walked away. I’ve been wanting a new version for years as I lost my old one. She is just perfect. I just wish my Walmart would get leaders, but they had to cram the transformers stuff due to the buzz Lightyear stuff shelfwarming so hard
I do hope they use the Laser Prime mold to do a Toxitron figure because A: he's SUPER obscure, and B: The shoulders can go completely flat which mimics his cancelled Universe toy perfectly

The cool thing about override is that I noticed was that the figure looks like a Gundam (almost).
I regret not having gotten Scourge yet, especially since I Saw Him In Stores and Had Him in Hand Until I Got to the counter

Idw blurr is my favorite of the three from that mold and works the best. I like road rockets look and wish they would do the rest of them g2 cycles. Over all I enjoyed this lil sub line really.

Originally got Scourge and Override when they went up in clearance in Walmart and unfortunately the Scourge I got had a really bad qc issue in where he apparently had an unknown extra screw in the back of the right shoulder cannon that pretty much prevented him from going into truck properly still had alot of fun with him and now thanks to ross I managed to snag nearly all the deluxes including Cosmos and the wave 2 deluxes and Hauler for 8 bucks each and a second Scourge to deal with QC issues first one had all im missing now is just Blurr and Galaxy Shuttle
The velocitron speedia collection is a really cool race themed collection with tons of cool characters and also really good at convincing us that any of them even have a chance of keeping up with Blurr

Velocitron is only on import online shops in Holland, and they are insanely priced. The deluxe are priced as voyagers, voyagers are 10 euro's on top of a normal voyager. It's insane. I had to get Scourge because I didn't have that mold yet and he looks awesome, I do have a bit of a problem with the short arms personally but overall a very good toy. I want to get Hauler because he could be one of the Constructicons. Everything else I'm not getting (Already have Cosmos). If they somehow made Override more feminine (unlike the original) then I might have gotten her as well but it's a bit to generic for me in Robot mode. Great video again!
Scourge is the only one I got from this line and I too love it. Can’t wait for that upgrade kit
I'm torn about Scourge. I keep looking at it going 'is it really worth buying what's BASICALLY Optimus Prime AGAIN in such rapid succession?' Yet I keep coming back to it, looking.
I got Hauler yesterday and uh… after transforming and posing him, WOW. I’m mad at myself for not getting him along with Override. Scourge was the first Transformers figure I bought in a few years last month and I bought another one to donate. Needless to say, kid that’s gonna get it is in for a very cool toy.

I only REALLY wanted scourge and had to fork up hasbro pulse shipping charges because the walmart one sold out constantly and it never showed up in any stores by me. I'm glad I got him though mine was slightly scratched IN package somehow. Scourge is a really good example against the "figures with light piping look dead most of the time" complaints people give for lightpiping on figures. Whenever a tiny bit of light falls above scourge his pink sword and eyes glow like the sun, at least on my copy, Same can't be said for the rocket pods, weirdly. I might pick up the others in the wave, still waiting to find the cybertron remake figure and screaming hauler, maybe cosmos too. The whole wave is honestly really nice save for blurr with his fake wheels. I might try at some point to get the takara LG voyager version of scourge from a few years back as my "modern update to the original paint deco" version. I REALLY like how velocitron scourge has an evil looking matrix in his chest, as inaccurate as it is to the character in the show.
My Scourge has a chip on his mask, makes him look shocked, really hope Blurr gets a Drift repaint, don't need another Blurr

I can't help noticing clampdown looks like a mini prowl I had when I was 6 I lost him when mean kids tossed him and others under his house. Still haunts me to this day like a ghost haunting me...
I also noticed that they have one of the gobots character in the transformers legacy velocitron 1st wave a randagay named crasher
the arm kibble on the 86 Blur mold is why I didn't upgrade from the headmaster Blur even though I am not the biggest fan of the headmaster gimmick
I got the three new molds for this line, the one retool/repaint, that being Blurr, I don't care for the other two, I did also get Scourge, thou my Scourge has had some upgrades applied to him to make him different from the G2 Laser OP
I love Override, I just wish she came with her Cyberkey. The leader of Velocitron missing her planet’s relic feels so wrong to me.
Let’s be honest this line is gonna be a mixed bag for everyone which is why I think it’s good.

Personally I think the only figures worth it in this line are Override and Blurr. I personally don't care for the UFO guy, Scourge didn't come out how he should have, being painted like his RiD colours, and the rest are just repaints. The lime green repaint of Grapple is kinda cool cause it reminds me of the Constructicons but still not enough to make me wanna get it.
Deep cover was surprisingly I loved. As far as cases of Cosmos, I don't believe. Didn't see any Netflix Soundwave case
Now I'm seeing this wave at Ross. Don't care about Cosmos but I picked up Scourge and Override once I saw them.
Lol Burn Out is the first one i got. I wasn’t even trying to find a specific Transformer figure just a grab n go, glad to know i got a good one
I dont exacly plan on collecting like everything on the transformers line I just buy ones that are hard to find if available, one that will be gone soon, and figures that are "worth" to buy. In the case of legacy I got dragstrip as my first and got velocitron scourge and legacy galvatron for my birthday.
The only one I want is hauler because I wanted the grapple/inferno/artfire mold and like Grapple's accessories more, but the only ones I can find (I can't remember the names sorry) are the arcee and skids repaint, and that one cybertron one. I did find blur and wanted to sample the mold (not having the original) and it's pretty ok

After seeing this, I think I got a good copy of idk blurr cause I don’t have any of the problems you covered ( besides the back arm kibble of course)
For Blurr I cut off those arm sections and actually glued them to the backpack. That gave me a cleaner look. something slightly more comic accurate and functional wrist articulation. Worth it.

Just ordered Scourge, and after seeing this my interest in Velocitron has peaked significantly
I’d say yes they are this wave was actually pretty solid although I wish I came with a Jazz and I wish Hotshot was actually in this instead of Legacy Evolutions
I got a Cosmos with good QC, and I snagged him on Aliexpress for $35. I think he was worth that price. The arm gaps are the only issue for me, but he's a neat little guy. imo he wouldn't be worth any higher of a price though - especially not a scalper's ransom.
Me personally? I chose to miss Red. I love how the mold looks…

I got scourge after just randomly finding seven of him at a Walmart and he is impeccable. I have him and laser prime and having both I think is better than having one. But scourge is definitely better
I haven't found any of these figures here in South Africa but I really want some of them so I'm kinda forced now to search on ebay or something which sucks but I'll definately try my best especially for scourge.

Picked up Overide as the original release did not age well. Not that the car doesn't still look great, just that literally nothing wants to tab in or stay together anymore. The arms especially just flop down in vehicle mode when picked up and I honestly don't know why. The new one however is amazing. Paint looks great, wheels roll, and all the joints are super tight/effective. Never had any luck finding Scourge so got the much easier to find Laser Prime. Again very solid/fun figure and huge improvement over the original in engineering/articulation. Really like how the arms can move independently of the shoulders and the flip open missile bays are a nice touch. Trailer/battle platform though are underwhelming for the additional cost.
my blurr looks better now after cutting the arm kibble and just super glueing it into the back pack where it sits in vehicle mode. also my gun was perfect

It's funny, I've managed to find every Velocitron figure... except for Override. Even though I only found him once, I still managed to find a Cosmos before Override. So that's fun.
Also I guess I got really lucky with my Blurr, the hips and legs aren't as loose on mine. Although to be fair I only got him because I liked how this one looked vs the Studio Series one.
Update: I finally found an Override, so that's cool
I cut off the arm sections and glued them to the back of Blurr. Really cleaned him up and I love the figure now. I have a slight looseness in the hips but my copy is pretty good. I always liked the SS 86 mold and I'm a sucker for IDW stuff so Blurr was an instant win for me. Plus significantly better face sculpt as well, has a lot of personality.
I skipped road rocket and blurr still need cosmos and burnout and waiting for hauler to come but I love the rest and I own 2 grapples because 1 came with no weapons and have 0 issues with the pegs
The only Velocitron figures I’ve been able to find so far are Shadowstrip, Crasher, and Blurr. Shadowstrip and Crasher are fantastic, but I didn’t pick up Blurr. I hope I can find some of the wave 1 dudes that I want.

Jhaxius,Scourge and one or two more.
Fruit Pastels are the one. Here is a game you can play: Who can keep one in their gob hole the longest without chewing the tasty little boiled cow hoof? Best played on long car journeys ....in the eighties.
I think Scourge, Override, and Blurr are worth it.
The only one I had any interest in out of all the new bots was Jhiaxus. Got him and saved money for 80s g1 bots. Hopefully wave 2 is better
