~A Love Letter to Leon, Spain~
Dearest Leon,
Within your ancient Roman city walls you house a beautiful vibrancy, colorful landscape, infectious energy, and the ever so regal lion. As a Leo myself, I have come to you seeking refuge.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in your bonita casa. The majestic grandeur of your cathedral did not disappoint. The lively musical sounds in your plaza, spontaneous street parades, divine churros con chocolate, and tasty fresco pizza were all spectacular!!
My one disappointment is that we could stay only one day.
Oh how I wish we had planned an extra rest day here. But alas, we continue onward.
Until we meet again, mi corazón es tuyo!
Leon one of my favorite cities in the north of Spain. Spaniards know how to enjoy life
You have one important reason to come back to Spain, to visit Leon for more days, if you do it I recommend
you to rest in Parador de Leon (ancient pilgrims hospital) it will not disappoint you at all. Nice video and nice family
Really Fun Festival - and just by chance - I would call that a BUEN CAMINO !!!
Hello Pilgrims, you catch the real essence of Leon , the city, the Cathedral , video beautifully done , I stayed extra day in Leon and I thought I saw quite a bit of the city but you are showing lot more than what I saw in two days. Oh ! MEMORIES .. enjoy your moment, Cheers ! Burn Camino. 🇨🇦

Leon was my favourite city on the Camino. I stayed two nights at the Hotel Paris, very close to the Cathedral. Those Roman soldiers marched right in front of my hotel while I was having brunch! :) And so here it is where you advance one day ahead of me now :) You captured the spirit of Leon effectively - it was so alive with fun and celebration. Thanks for the memories!!!
