Despite encouraging his viewers to donate, he still says that it is fine not to donate. Thus he creates some moral ambiguity in something which the Opposition beliefs should be unambiguous. To give a analogy, picture a r-word case. And now picture a person who says something along the lines of „personally I am against such and such“ and he might add „but it’s ok if you have another opinion“ .
