    While I'm going a slightly different route with mine, you might want to check out the series I've done for some performance improvements to help the C2X! Great video!

    Nice truck!

    I know this truck is a little different than the TF2 lwb, but it should be close. It looks like they might have mounted the body a little higher. I used the body lift for the TF2 lwb and it created a space between the body and sliders. I flipped the sliders upside-down and that brought them up to the body (I had to remove the innermost bar to clear the body mount). Good call on extending the links, looks better! I hope this helps!😊

    Lead stick on weights are hard to get balanced. I've been using Beef Tubes Beef Patties. They replace the hubs, and also are 4mm off set. One ounce per wheel, all the weight ya need down low. Keep up the mad science my friend!!

    Add weight between the Wheel and Tire you can buy weights that sticks to the wheel that goes up under the tire, that will give you your bottom weight

    wonder if you can fit a leaf suspension with yota axles... it would give some weight to the bottom. I might have to test that...

    you could get some beef patties wheel weights. you could also get wheel weights that go inside the wheels...hope this helps.

    Could you put longer shocks on the c2x? Always looks like it needs to be higher compared to a d90, with the longer wheelbase it seems to hit the rocks.
    How much Weight are you thinking of adding?
    Truck looks brilliant 👍👍👍

    Not sure if it was a mistake or not but I put scx10 ii axles on mine. Now my front end needs different links. Wish I could figure out a 4 link setup. But I’m knee deep into it and can’t go back. Lol

    Have you ever put a tf2 body on a scx 10 2 I have a set of mts that were 3 d printed to fit the original mounting holes on the tf2 body but the rear shock mts hit the bottom of bed and will not let holes match up any help you can give is greatly appreciated. You have some many awesome builds. Such attention to detail very talented

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  Před 4 lety +1

      I did that once with an scx10 one, not much you can do about it, I just cut holes in the bed fo the shocks to stick through. Dinky RC use to make a anticancer system that relocated the shock so you didnt have to cut the floor, havent seen them in a while though.

    Will the rc4wd K44 metal axles fit here? They’re the same width as the d44 plastic axles I believe.

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  Před 4 lety +2

      They might. Not sure if the 4 link mount width is the same. The k44 are the same width as the standard yota axles.

      @@RCeveryday I emailed rc4wd and their response was "This would work,
      you may have to use some different length links in some areas." I'm still hesitant to buy as I am not yet 100% sure what other items to purchases or what modifications to use. Upon checking they are the same width and I think with the panhard and rear bracket it will fit. But I'm a little tight on budget and this is too risky for me at this point.

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  Před 2 lety +1
