    Thank you Dr. Todd Grande for this heldful video. I would be gratful if you could post another video explaining how to compare two categorical variables (eg. attitudes and motivation) based on gender, to see if there are any differences. Ps, the Likert scale is similar to the one on your video, e,.g 6-point Likert scale . Thank you

    So I have an odd circumstance In that the variable that I need reverse coded isn't on a whole number likert-like scale. It is derived from a litigious analysis so the variable is "Fewer words" or "Fewer Diverse Words", and is a count. How is this dealt with in SPSS?

    how can i reverse the items of the scale when they are continuous numbers with spss? like isntead of having 1,2,3,4 etc i have 25.43 32.49 etc

    so what happens to the values? i recode into different variables and the values in variable view are not there?? and i cant use recode into same variables because is lots of questions it gets me confused.
    values after recoding is empty
