I drove locomotives underground in the late 70s and 80s at Coventry colliery. Worked on 58s district with Spike Haywood and Alan Cooper . Great men and excellent deputies. Remember them days well and would love to bring just one more train of coal out and then the man rider. So sad that will never happen again. Respect to all miner’s.
