Excellent Presentation! I am proud to say I am From Stuarts Draft,Virginia where the Legendary John Colter was born and yes Stuarts Draft is in Augusta County! The Farm house where Colter lived in till he was five years old still stands today is considered one of the oldest houses in Stuarts Draft and is currently being restored today by a new owner!
my great great great grandfather was John Colter...his son hirem Jefferson Colter... had a son named Joseph... who had a son named William j. Colter.. who had my grandpa John Lawerance Colter who had my mom.we are of German decent and cherokee
