Zach and Ty need vehicles for events like James and George! They've earned at least 10 seconds cars, especially when all of Garrett's friends (not on the channel) get burnout cars.
Channel would be better and grow if the entire team was celebrating more than just Cleetus driving. Especially when James is driving his Nova, Camaro, or 240sx. Let's get Zack and Ty a 10 second car to practice: water box burn outs, staging, the tree, shutdown with a parachute. The routine of turning on the vehicle and the shutdown process.

Leeroy is still fighting itself - should be going faster than it is considering the power it’s making. Spring rate and / or bar angle. Given the manual transmission’s bigger dynamic load, the suspension needs to have a wider dynamic range.
I checked out all your suspension videos. This dude is legit!

A few years ago I got totally addicted to RC cars. I still have them and never take them out. You guys having all this fun makes me want to get them out again. RC is always best with friends.
Me too, got into rc when the tmaxx was introduced, then life, got married and had kids. My father and I were pretty heavy into the hobby, and both my parents passed away, I now live in their house and got all the trucks and cars we used to run, I've been slowly rebuilding a truck to run. Electric is way better than when I started, but I still love my nitro

Seems to be the common theme. I have one nitro, and a couple electrics. Same with my neighbor. People seem to go in hard on the hobby and then the time between using gets farther and farther apart .

Most of my friends who I bashed with, stopped when our local hobby shop closed down. I was never much into racing, but sending them around the local track with friends was pretty fun. I miss that little community we had...

Doesn't seem like the ls can take the abuse that these guys want it to endure. 7.50 or above seems like it would be happy and live a bit. To truly be competitive in the modern stick shift classes you've got to be able to run sixes and do it relatively reliably or have a spare engine or two.
@John Russell yeah, Pete is rebuilding an engine for Leroy but even a well built LSX is gonna be about 2500 max, will get them to the 6.60s barely.

Just an observation, I would check the balance with the new rods. They appear to be the Ultra Enforcer series which are heavier than the std. Ultra Billet rod, which the bent ones seem to be. Good thing is they will handle more boost. Good luck.

I had a kyosho ultima back in the day that I had to assemble from scratch and all I remember is it had an aluminum frame and it bent quite easily.. all I did was break stuff including swing arms and shocks 😂 glad to see they made them near indestructible nowadays.
A blind folded rocker arm install, head to head competition with the guys or something similar would be fun! You guys are great!

@2:18 I have an old Associated RC10L pan car with a CF chassis. That thing has been run into curbs at ludicrous speed and flipped 5' in the air more than once! Modded to death, aluminum wheels, titanium suspension parts, and more. I probably have a grand or so in it including about ten bodies I painted. Can't wait to see when y'all break THIS one! 😆

The stock xmaxx tires are well known for ripping and tearing. Your best bet is get a set of belted tires like Proline mx43 badlands or the lighter more affordable duratrax six pack or lockup tires.
Another beast of a large scale rc isnthe Arrma Kraton 8s or the Arrma outcast 8s. Both are beasts and outcast has a shorter wheelbase and wheelies like crazy.
Texas speed has been unbelievable since the beginning!

You should get a Nitro RC. You can run longer and refuel and keep going. Just a couple things. 1. Make sure you oil your filters for the engine.. 2. make sure you break it in according to your manufacturers specs.. 3. make sure you tune it right just enough smoke out of the pipe.
Steve's a good down to earth guy. Been telling us about him being stoked to do this rebuild

I’ll spoil it for you… it’ll do fine for a few passes, maybe a thou quicker, until a boost controller fails, line gets pinched, or it gets 70 psi of boost rammed down its throat, then it’ll completely shit the bed like every other engine does, and should be expected to do. Cleet can kill anything. Doesn’t matter who builds it or what it costs
It’s just like James to one up the boys even with the RC toys😂
