What kind of VA Disability Appeal do you file for on your VA Disability Claim? - Disability Attorney John V. Tucker explains.
A veteran who has a claim denied by the VA today has different options than they did before February of 2019. Choosing the right appeal option can help you tactically in your VA Disability case.
If your claim is denied or has been denied after February 2019, you have three options:
    • You can take a direct appeal to the Board of Veterans' Appeals.
    • You can file what's called a Higher Level Review, or HLR
    • You can file a Supplemental Claim.
A Direct Appeal to the Board of Veterans' Appeals applies primarily to veterans that had old legacy claims, and they can go on the Board and perhaps have a better shot at a faster resolution to their case overall.
Watch as Veterans Disability Attorney John V. Tucker explains why opting for either a Higher Level Review or a Supplemental Claim provide more options and offer better results for the vast majority of veterans.
