Often use my jetboil. There are lighter options for a cook set out there, but we use what we have, and the jetboil is so quick and easy. Thanks for the video. 👍🏼

Tent camper here but have really only spent time in the sub alpine of the North Cascades so there’s a dearth of trees. Also I’m just old fashioned. Jetboil looks cool. I like the MSR Pocket Rocket.
Nice one can't go wrong with a jet boil .I'm a ground sleeper 😴 with tarp all year round. Hammock sleeping is good dd tarp 3x3 muilti camo dd Hammock. Also under blanket. Haven't been in mine since I've had mr gibbs that's my dog Patterdale. Was going to give it ago last week but slept on floor. I find Hammock camping a right pain .but once in love it .if you want I could loan you my set up to see how you get on .😃👍OUT
Great stoves and boil very quickly, just the noise they produce thst puts me off them. Was out last week for a hammock overnighter...used to be awesome to get away and see no-one, but due to the silly restrictions, it seems all and sundry are out and you're forever being stumbled across multiple times wherever you go. And you wouldn't believe the trash left by others that I had to carry out and dispose of. Glad you had a good one lovey...look forward to another soon. P.S Was a ground dweller for so many years, but as I've gotten older, the hammock is the best thing I've done...so much more comfortable
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 I can highly recommend the DD Frontline, with whoopie slings and an underquilt with a medium sleeping bag with a central zip. Turn the bag face down, pop your feet into the foot box of it and pull it up over you like a quilt. I do this and cuddle up to the top of it like it's a pillow lol
My dog ( westie) did not like the hammock. He likes to get in my sleeping bag and takes up all the room. That jet boil is fast. Good video. Thanks and stay safe.
Great video, watching this reminds me I really need to get back out in the woods again. Thinking of changing things up, might get a caneo out and find somewhere to head out with the canoe and camp. Guess it's mainly because some fool think they can tell me I will never walk again, that wont stop me getting out in the woods. WIll be checking out your channel.

I bought a hammock this week, a real cheapie, because I wanted to experiment with a way of hanging a hammock off one tree. Within 5 seconds I could tell why people fall in love with it. It's just like being cuddled by a cloud... Very very relaxing.
We love hammock camping, I like the fact that with just the hammock and a tarp you have a very comfortable night camp or equally comfortable for a day stop for lunch/day camp etc...👍

Covacure hammock for around £18 has built in bug net and can hold 772lbs. You will need an under quilt you can get one by Silverstone / Lixada for around £25 goes down to -10 off EBay then a tarp to go over you. You can use your sleeping bag with a hammock unzip your sleeping bag put feet in foot box and use the sleeping bag as a quilt you will be toasty. Enjoy 😀👍🙏⛺️🏕❤️👏🏻👍 I have the above a cracking setup and cheap but high quality along with more expensive options but always go back to this setup me daughter loves hammock camping.

Hopefully see you doing a scotland trip soon😁these places might interest you/ loch Arkaig just up from spean bridge / glen Elg highland (Bernera beach) free camping on shore line, n rite at to top, village of Durness camp site , or as me and my folks done free camping at balnakeil beach. The arkaig location is a good one tho stunning loch, great museum in Cameron of loch eel estate, and of the radar camping along the side of loch, honestly it’s stunning ( cowboy and Indian land lol.
Eye stunning places and reasonably quite, great if you like doing your own thing away from the race, looking farward to your next vid, keep em going pal, great job.🙏👌
I would consider just getting a tarp if I was you. If you check out a channel from Canada with a guy by the name of Matthew Posa (one of my favourite channels), you will see that he sleeps under a lean-to type tarp setup off a ridge line and has his dogs under there with him. The advantage of being under a tarp is that you are not freaked out by the slightest noise in woodland as you can see everything going on. I only use tents for the hills/open air and a tarp setup for the woods.

We tend to use hammocks alot, however we've just done an overnight camp using tents. Both have there place in the kit bag. I tend to only use my Jetboil for boiling water only, never actually cooked food in it, I might have to give the Green Curry a go! 👍
Going through your videos now, some mre suppliers I have not seen before so keep sharing. trying to get my daughter excited about the outdoors. I watch on my TV, so I can't comment on there. Who got you interested in wild camping?

When it had been better to put the curry in another pot and then add the water from the jetboil, otherwise you get curry favoured tea or coffee lol I have a jetboil i love it
Jetboils are great!! Got two Jb Flashes myself like yours, one's normally kept in the boot of the car just incase. I only use mine to boil water or to heat up ration packs as sometimes they can be a bugger to clean. Best thing is you can pack everything in the pot and some coffees in the measuring cup in the bottom. Atb Derek

Great video. Do the strong curry smells not stick to the jetboil at all? I got one and I'm worried that smells pay permeate it.
