This World Athletics Day, join us in recognising the spirit and passion of every athlete. This day serves as a reminder of the significance of sports to instil discipline among the youth and also create a scope for employment through sports-based activities.
Aligned to this thought are the Athletic Centers in Jamadoba and Kalinganagar, enabled by the Tata Steel Foundation, which caters to around 330 players in diverse disciplines.
At both the centers,
Children are motivated to participate and excel in various disciplines
Each player's unique interest and potential are recognised.
Technical and tactical training are provided to prepare them for competitions and trials at various age groups.
Training is provided for various events such as short-distance, long-distance, and triathlon, starting from a young age.
Students have actively participated in state-level events across the country, showcasing their potential.
The centers are committed to enabling the youth and communities to foster a culture of excellence and opportunity in sports and beyond.
