Extra zesty too lmao
It is a miracle that nobody died yet in the UFC.
@@hardnewstakenharder it's like that for all sports
@@hardnewstakenharder I mean Spencer had like 30 fights or a bit over that but its not like he had a 5 stoppage losing streak like Marlon Moraes has now. We see a lot of people with those type of fighting records that dont have any problems. Fishers problems most likely stem from years and years and years of meathead training and sparring full force everytime every week and ignoring the issues that come with that. the 2000s were the caveman days in this "sport"

The ref stoppage on some of these was so unbelievable late, surprisingly nobody died. Never underestimate the power of a good slam to the canvas.
Seriously! Ref at 2:53 took his sweet time.
Frfr, especially the one throwing elbows after the slam. Dude threw like 6-8 elbows before the stoppage
Yeh ref needs to be there but wtf at the fighters too... if your opponent is clearly out why you blasting him with elbows? Maybe they are stuck in the moment and cant really assess but i feel like if youre busting a dude 3 or 5 tines and hes not moving you should know the fights over.
@@greghuffman3061 You aren't wrong. It's gotta feel like shit to rewatch your own fight and see you attacking a guy that is clearly unable to even block. I like fights but that makes me feel sick
@Greg Huffman Well, what else can they really do? If the ref hasn't stopped the fight by then, they need to send the message somehow. Can't exactly stand up and walk away if the ref hasn't made a move yet.
Yeah, they could punch once, signal to ref, repeat but they are in the moment and I can guarantee majority felt horrible watching the replay. At the end of the day, fighter safety in the ring is the refs job.
Interestingly, this compilation shows how talented Pro Wrestlers are when it comes to executing these same exact slams while protecting their fellow workers
I've heard some karate players have immense respect for the kind of impact a good throw can have. In just one moment, a hard slam to the pavement can permanently end someone
Most of these didn't ko because of the slam but due to horrible form and bad landings on head/neck.. Gives you tons of respect for wwe performers that do these moves with insane force but with cleaner and safer technique..
And damn sure we have seen it when it goes wrong there too, Big E being the most recent example
@@oscarbautista4156 the fuck you talking about, the point of this moves is to be unexpected and hurt the other guy
@@saveuslayer those are few and far between, most are freak accidents on moves done daily, Droz comes to mind. Wrestling is an artwork though and it takes tons of talent and skill to be able to work safely especially in those matches where weapons are involved

Ikr, it’s equally as impressive before and after rly getting into mma
2:23 the way that guy's leg shakes after being slammed to the ground is absolutely frightening. I love MMA/Boxing but sometimes I forget how dangerous and deadly of a sport it truly is until you see something like that happen. I love to watch a good fight but I don't never want to see any fighter suffer permanent brain damage or worse, die inside of the ring. Every fight has a potential for disaster. I salute all of these brave men for stepping inside the octagon and putting their lives at risk for our entertainment.
Never been a death in over 20 years of the UFC. Many boxers die every year. Not trynna argue, I'm just sayin
@@andrewkescenovitz202 true, I think it's because of the glove sizes too. Since there is no grappling kicking or anything else it's basically exchanging giant bag fists and it's probably much easier to knock someone out. Plus grappling and running around become options in MMA.
@@malachite072 More likely it's because when you get knocked out in boxing, as long as you get up before the 10 count, you can continue. In MMA after a knockout, your opponent follows up with a few shots, and the match is over. Those repeated concussions in boxing really add up.
@@whisk3675 You're actually right, I forgot to include that. I honestly find it so ironic how they made these rules for a "sport". They were like "oh, real fighting is too violent" so they made boxing. And it turns out to be more dangerous.
If you watch boxing or mma you are always watching people get brain damage. You have to look past it
Bro the dude in pink in the audience at 5:33 felt that slam in his soul 😂
He's a brazillian commentator, and he was actualy on transmission. I remember watching the fight, he was very scared for Rose, he did not care that jessica had won the belt, he was genuine woried for rose's health.
Lies again? Stop Lying Men
@arceniodantas4022 makes sense, in pro wrestling, even if "fake", people who have fallen like that could break their necks and get paralyzed, get some other kind of chronic problem or just die on the spot, it's a very rough landing
Love these guys that back off when they see their opponent out cold. No need to damage the guy beyond stupid. Very professional.
Unlike that piece of shit who decided to keep elbowing the guy.
omg yes, but the only one i see who did it "intentionally" was this guy. he threw the guy and then decides to finish him off but quickly realize that the guy is out and then he stopped. 4:20
Refs need to be on their game more, if the fighter is the one that needs to decide to hold back that’s an issue.

This video was somehow recommended to me about a year ago and inspired me to get into MMA. I ordered some grappling gloves and hand wraps 2 months after seeing this video and have been training ever since. @Xearya I started when I was 32 and I'm now 33.
Hi friend. So watching these poor bastards heads get brain damage convinced you that you wanted it aswell. I understand the power associated with being a martial artist and the allure of it but damn. I’d rather stab/shoot someone than have my ass kicked.

almost all wrestling moves are legit techniques executed in a safe manner. That is why when they screw up they end up paralysing, killing their opponents

I think Michael Chandler suffered a similar thing against Dustin Poirier. Just before Dustin got the choke, Chandler hoisted him up and suplexed him onto his head. 1:00 best slam ever hands down
I think in wwe, they call that the spine buster
@@CornholioPuppetMaster powerbomb
@@CornholioPuppetMaster A spinebuster is a move in which the wrestler starts by facing his opponent and then grabs him around his waist, lifts him up, and then either slams the opponent down while landing on top of them, or tosses them forward on to their back. A powerbomb is a move in which an opponent is lifted into the air and then slammed down back-first to the mat.[19] The standard powerbomb sees the opponent placed in a standing headscissors position (bent forward with their head placed between the wrestler's thighs), lifted on the wrestler's shoulders, and slammed back-first down to the mat.

Crazy that, Matt Hughes and, Grey Maynard were both "out" when they slammed their opponents. Joe and Grey, had a great conversation in the Octagon after the fight. I think Matt may have admitted, later on, that he was unconscious, but right after Carlos was KO'd he woke up...

Thud Rose! Thud Rose!
I’m not sure if I would consider it funny or cringey; But, hearing Dom say _”he’s trying to gas him out”,_ while Khabib is pounding Conor’s face into absolute oblivion…
It never gets old.
The funniest thing is:
Dom’s explanation as to why he said that-actually, isn’t that dumb.
He said that “if he had been in the spot that Conor was in, he would have just shelled up and let Khabib use as much energy as possible-knowing how emotional he was… knowing that he was probably going to overexert himself…
with the hope that Khabib would waste a lot of energy, without being able to do much damage”.
That actually would’ve been a _really good_ idea; And Conor was the only one that could’ve employed that strategy, because Conor was the only opponent that would’ve made Khabib fight _that emotionally._
The problem is: it was blatantly obvious that Conor was _not choosing_ to do that; He was just getting his ass whooped, and couldn’t do anything about it.

Makes you appreciate how pro wrestlers make slams look devastating but still be safe, almost makes you forget they can legit knock people out
I feel like Randleman’s slam of Fedor always gets overlooked because Fedor recovered and won the fight, but like how many slams do you see both people completely leave the ground so dramatically?
These were crazy!
Rampage Jackson still has the best slam. It's an iconic part of MMA history at this point.
he head butted him too🤫
The legendary Powerbomb.
