Longines Conquest homage.Not bad for this price
Certain parts look identical to my Longines!! I’m beginning to wonder if Longines gets the cases from China!
This was my first Cadisen and I must say I was totally blown away by it, it is also my first Miyota (Citizen) automatic. For yet another Seiko 5 homage, clone, competitor, call it what you will it is a stunning watch for the money. If it had as many variations as the Seiko 5 family then this could be a contender, but as it stands this is yet another daily watch alternative for me that is slightly better than the Seiko, because it has the hand winding option. This means I can pull this out, shake it a few times, set the time and date, wind it and wear it knowing it is not going to stop in the day or night because it has not been moved enough. Another stunning option Jody, and this along with the other 'Dollar Dazzler' with the Seiko movement are your best so far. Trouble is 'She who must be obeyed' is asking about how many watches I can wear in a week as she now thinks that changing watch for lunch and dinner is getting to be a bit excessive.

Very informative review. As for the water resistance, according to a watch store guide 3-5 ATM (30-50 metres) means it works with small splashes, like rain or while washing your hands. 10 ATM (100 metres) means you can shower, bathe and swim with it. 20 ATM (200 metres) and up means you can dive with it. Oh, and the bezel is supposed to be ceramic, which if true adds more value to the watch.
After a week or so of using it I am AMAZED! I cannot believe its accuracy, an average of +5 secs/day!!!!!!!!!!!!! man this is really a very good value watch, a solid longines conquest homage, its quality rocks !!! freakin' little miyota is really amazing!

That's a really nice looking watch. I don't think it's for me, but it could be a nice first auto for someone that is just getting into watches.
It is SCARY how accurate this little miyota powered Longines homage is!!!!!!! have not seen more than 2.5, 3 secs/day sometimes even 1...
I have the same experience with my Citizen Promaster Miyota movement. It's just bang on the money compared to my quartz watches. My wife's Orient runs fast, have to set the time every 3 days...
Just an idea, possibly the dials are stock dials are used in numerous different watches. In this watch they have not been paired with lumed hands and in different watches they probably are.
Scotty Magoo hold up, checked them out but nowhere dors it say that it has a 28.8k bph. Did u recognize the movement or have you bought it? Im asking out of curiousity.
For the money this is a great looking watch! It's one of the only affordable watches I've seen where there are only the 12 and 6 numbers like my Tudor Northflag. I just ordered a CARNIVAL watch (bad name great looking watch IMO) from Aliexpress. I hope it's as decent as this Cadisen.
I bought this watch about 3 years ago. I didn't earn a lot and couldn't afford a Seiko or Orient (they are a little overpriced in India). But I wanted a mechanical watch and after a lot of thought and research I pulled the trigger on this. It is just lovely. I got compliments from most of my colleagues and it looks excellent on my hands. The best part is it is still running perfectly. I broke the original crown and replaced it with another and it hasn't required any additional service to this day. With some cleaning this looks as good as the day I bought it and I wear it all the time.
This watch is really the one that started everything for me. Now that I have more income I plan on purchasing a Seiko prospex or a Tissot prx as my first real mechanical watch.
I will love this watch forever and if it ever breaks I'll probably store it in a display case. I have more expensive Timex and Titan quartz watches but this watch is my favourite.
I don't know if they still sell it but if they do I recommend it for anyone who likes the looks.

Got the Tevise T801 after seeing your review and was not disappointed. This latest watch is better still and certainly seems good bang for your buck.
i purchased a Tevise Rolex Submariner homage . the specs is only splash proof (30m) WR, quality is very acceptable for the price....weight and size very much like original ; accuracy about minus 30sec daily... really quite a value for money Homage. I usually quite critical of China watches and materials and fake boasts but i am objective. when deserving i shall praise them.
Woon Fa Seng my Tevise T801 runs about +5-6 secs a day. Only criticism is that power reserve is not great but can be hand wound so no real issue. More accurate than Seiko 5 with 7S26 movement...
mcm4321 unfortunately I can't get into nato straps. The black T801's seem to come with side clasp (like a quartz Fossil I have) but green and blue come with more solid bracelet with safety clasp.
I own one of these..... Love it. I paid £40....miyota movement, sapphire crystal, leather strap (which really suits the watch).... Unbeatable value and believe me, it looks great on the wrist.... All with the added bonus of.. If you scratch, break, drop it or go snorkelling on holiday and forget to take it off.... Its not the end of the world.. Its 40 quid...id gladly buy another if that happened.
Received it....pretty nice in the flesh and will give it a try this week at work and everyday life to see how it goes... so far so good..

Not a bad watch especially given the price. I think the 4 things I look for in an automatic movement are : hackable, hand windable (yeah that's a word but only in the world of horology), bi-directional rotor winding, and a shock absorber mechanism. And of course, at least 40-hour power reserve and affordable serviceability.
I think that's a beauty. Love the crown which sets it apart.

Great looking, and nice specs. Ofc a knock off Longines Conquest. With those miyota movements i open them up and scew off the rotor for a manual wind. No noise, no fuss. And i don't mind winding up the movement.

It is kind of cool. I have their DateJust homage, and it is a wonderful watch for under $100.
As a Longines homage, people seem to be missing the point. The Longines has 50m water resistance, and many models do not have lume on the hands. To that end, the Cadisen is very much on point.
Who is liking this comment? The Longines Conquest has 300m (!) of water resistance. And the black dial model that this is an homage to does have lume on the hands.
@@joavim I found some pictures of the exact (hopefully) original Longines with no lume on the hands. Do you have the original one for yourself?
Otherwise I would imagine that Longines did this rare thing of just luming the back of the hands, which Cadisen did not.
If the date is small you can always buy and apply a cyclops over the date window.

I would like to see a water droplet test on that crystal. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it were mineral instead of sapphire.

Pro diver. Has a reliable seiko NH35 movement and not a Miyota 8215 such as this one. Probably one of the only decent invicta watches out there

Very nice looking watch,I just saw a review on a brand called Kingsbury,Also a nice looking watch for around $120.00USD.Quartz Movement But with a “Quick Beat”second hand that almost appears to be Automatic.You should check them out if you haven’t already.
I bought this one and the Guanqin GJ16034 (came with similar Miyota) and swapped the hands improving both quite a bit! The press case back on the Caddy was a bear however... :-D

Not to be *that* guy, but has it actually been verified that the crystal is sapphire? And a "genuine leather" band is like Coors, it may look like beer, even taste a bit like it but it isn't *really* beer :-)

Leather is often split into several layers. The "top grain" is the expensive stuff. The rest is called a "split" or "suede" if it has a soft finish surface. It's very common that a split will have a surface pressed to be smooth (or even a design) and passed off as being top grain when it's not. Really, a split is *so* cheap that even a manufacturer trying to be cheap doesn't really have much incentive to fake it, and fake leathers may be good but the kinds used in watch bands generally aren't, so if it seems like real leather to touch and smell on both sides, it may very well be. The problem is when it has leather like properties but feels and smells like a fake - it may be a genuine fake (my friend the postmodernist art critic would love this) or it may be genuine leather embossed to be smooth and coated with a waxy or plastic coating to be waterproof. I really wouldn't expect that from a cheap manufacturer, but in general it happens sometimes.
Yeah, watch bands that say "genuine leather" but aren't do exist - I have one in front of me now (I think) - but they're rare-ish, and really they're not fooling anyone.
As for the sapphire crystal, yeah, I was wondering about that too. I'm also wondering, how do you test it, particularly without destroying the watch? I know, at least as I learned it 35 years ago, one tests minerals by scratching them and putting acid on them and other nasty stuff that I don't think I would want to do to a watch. (I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm expressing my own ignorance, ideas are welcome.)

I'm 99% sure it's actual sapphire crystal. From what I've seen, Cadisen really tries to become a reputable brand. I haven't seen their product yet, that wasn't as advertised.
May have to take a longer look at this bran and possibly buy one!

I suggest you test a crystal and see if it is really a sapphire.
Other CZcams reviewers have tested it, and it is indeed sapphire.

Amazing how they can do sapphire for 50 dollars and you have to pay over 400 for sapphire on a Seiko.
Bliger gmt on eBay sells for 80ish bucks. Sapphire crystal, working gmt movement, and the bracelet has a glide lock on it. It’s an homage to the Batman blnr
Looks like this has been discontinued which is a real shame. IMHO it is the nicest looking cadisen and I couldn't get one before they were gone.
A little bit of regulation and the 8215 can be incredibly accurate
No matter who makes the watch, if it has a push pull crown and a snap on caseback I would not take it into the water.

Guess what, my Citizen Promaster AS4020 has a push pull crown that you pull to operate all the functions on a daily basis and it is 200m wr
Push pull crowns are not supposed to prevent water damage .. they are simply for tucking away the crown when its not being used. The o ring inside never loses contact with the case tube whether the crowns is pulled out or not, meaning your water proofed in both scenarios.
I like it. They've taken the Longines Conquest design, right down to the crown guards and crown, but made the bezel a hemetite looking ceramic, similar to the one that I modded on to my Sea Urchin. Is it ceramic, actually?
The no lume on the hands makes me lol but I'm going to GearBest for a look.
I'm swithering about a Corgeut Black Bay rip off homage at the moment, too. It has Miyota inside it as well. Bit controversial that one though because they've embossed it with a Tudor rose emblem on the crown.

Looks like they updated this model, luming the hands (though still not great), bumping the water resistance to 200m and adding a red minute track... and increasing the price by $30. Still looks like a good deal, though. PS, how has anyone tested the claimed 200m water resistance on these Chinese specials? I'd really be curious to see how many (if any) hold up to that claim.

The whole watch is a homage of a Longines Conquest, as per your recommendation, I just bought the little Cadisen, it seems it was one of the last because it now says out of stock, let's see how it works when it arrives....
I had that same problem on a VOSTOK chrono I bought for 225 USD.
The whole watch is a 1-to-1 copy of the Longines Conquest (except the Conquest has lumed hands, of course).

Probably synthetic. But even synthetic, the watches I have are still scratchless after 2 years, much better than my mineral crystal watches.

Almost looks like a slightly modded Explorer (and may be there is a bit of AR coating on the sapphire for good measure)
It is not that They dont lume the hands, it is that the hands and the dial suppliers are not the same. Especially for this price range they don’t bother much
It looked a really nice watch , but not sure about the strap, i prefer a smooth one , & found the workings abit weird being gold coloured , it didn't quite look right lol , loved your Tshirt, used to love his films , he was a great actor .

watch advise is correct, 50m is not suitable for swimming..... overall pressure is much bigger when there is movement and motion of hand and water

Have you ever tested the accuracy of the 50 meter or even 300 meter claims? I doubt these watch manufacturers have or spend the time to pressure test.
these cheap watches are ASSEMBLED based on common parts,
ie, which ever will fit at the lowest cost.
that means lume dials,
BUT cheapest hands are those without lume.
hence it mismatch.
still a great buy - sapphire, fully auto.hand windable ( better than seiko 5 )

It is a rush to score what appears to be a good value in an automatic, even with the lume-quirk of this one...and especially when contrasted with so many poor quality watches on GB. Like stumbling upon a low-grade diamond in a coal mine. You can almost feel the oozing endorphine. But whether to then pull the trigger and actually buy? I think that is a personal choice. Personally, I don't need to expand the care and feeding of my current mechanical population. I'd sooner put that "fiddy" into another G-Shock and beat it like a rented mule. Great review, I really enjoy and learn from your videos !
