    I'm gonna figure out how to restore the orginal stuff as much as possible. The band may be a given but the some people would prefer to keep the orginal bezels and if one could figure out how to repair them and bring them back to spec...

    You can buy a new crystal for your watch, it's not to expensive. You'll spend more on the tool to remove the back cover then the new screen or crystal costs. If you do that make sure you get some silicone greese for your gasket back there. I didn't my first time changing a battery and when I went into a hot tub I got water in it. Didn't break it but I learned my lesson.

    • @b0llos
      @b0llos Před 2 lety

      apparently the west coast casio service location (The Time Machine in Montrose, CA) claims that you cannot just purchase the crystal by itself, and that you have to purchase a whole case for $160.00! that's ridiculous, as a new casio gw 9400 solar rangeman costs $230.00. i'm not sure if they're scamming people or if the price for a case (since i was told that you can't purchase the crystal alone) is really that much money; but like i said for an extra $70 you can purchase another brand new rangeman gw 9400 at amazon...

    A testament to the durability of this watch...or just G-shocks in general. Looks like you were able to breathe some "new life" into it and it looks good! Curious, after those years of rough use, do all of the features still function properly? Just picked one up about a month ago and it's beginning to be my favorite (I have a few).

    Hi. Did you try using a polishing compound on the Dremel wheel ? In my experience those felt type wheels do nothing or almost nothing without adding a compound. Another option, which I chose for other G-Shock watches was to buy an inexpensive polishing wheel. You could use that on the glass if you removed the bezel first.

  • @TheMegamanpr
    @TheMegamanpr Před 2 lety +1

    Get like a 2000 grit sand paper with soap and water and polish the glass, then use the polishing wheel you were using to clear the hazed glass.

    • @TechTokOffical

    and I doubt that toothpaste is harder in mosh scale. than mineral glass
    why didn't got a new glass??? while got new bezel and straps... don't cost that much
    usually genuine bezel should include those fake screws 🤔
    coloring of bezel seems genuine though.. 🤔🤔🤔
