This may only be 170mm blade but it is smooth, sharp and gets that cut done. The blade is a medium tooth that is meant for green wood but it’s amazing on seasoned wood. Silky offer other sizes including their big boy for them that think size matters more.
The size is awesome, fits in your pocket and weighs next to nothing. It’s ideal for bushcraft. Wild camping and even a great tool to have with your whittling tools. Cutting seasoned logs the size of your wrist is a easy task and for most of them camping trips I don’t think we need more than that.
It is a perfect saw mate, fits in the pocket and cuts like butter..
I dont have one but i do have the silky zubat being a tree surgeon that i usually take on my camps as well or i use the laplander bacho.

I love my Silky saws, I have 6 of them in various sizes.
I hardly ever cut green wood with mine, medium tooth is excellent on seasoned wood.

Top review buddy, after trying the one Naomi had when I was in the UK I was instantly converted from the laplander which I have owned and loved for the past 7 years. to me, it's another level of saw. Dammit, I have to buy one now, you cost me so much money. lol

How does this compare to a Laplander?
Michael Eracleous that’s like asking a BMW driver how it compares with a Mercedes, someone that uses a Laplander would most likely say they better than anything and vice verser.
Now I’m not a Laplander fanatic but I do have one and always liked it, however I would say the silky is better. Hope that helps 💪
