@@fooman27jenkins44 that's your market. Do your research and educate yourself on DD and how they work. I have watched over 100s of videos on DD.
If you can get Platinum, it's worth it because you can Dash at ANY Time. Imagine getting more available hours to deliver. If you can find a location that makes it worth it then you can obtain 70% acceptance rating. That's what I have done.
I love people like this, keep that low AR so I can keep making 30+ an hour lol. Sometimes you gotta know how to play the game buddy.

I’m at 43%. Idk how people afford to take $3 orders. Gas ⛽️ is expensive.
I'm at 83% AR, and I rarely see a $3 orders. Lunch time orders average $7 to $9 and dinner time about $10 to $12 . Also throw in on either shift a few " large orders" for $25 to $45. I usually get 3 to 4 of those a day. I will occasionally do $1 per mile, but 90% of my orders pay $2 a mile or more .
Oh, and I drive a 2013 Prius, that gets 56 mpg
Platinum for me is actually working out great. Seems I wait more for an order , but they are usually all good. Meaning I would not have refused them if I were cherry picking. There are many drivers that do "Earn by Time" and end up with all the low or no tip offers, and DD gives me all the bigger orders. BTW, in my market earn by time ranges from $16 for breakfast/lunch to $17.50 per active hr for dinner shifts. With peak pay I have seen it as high as $25.50 active hr, for late night.

@@vikings7683 I find it's idiots who can't do math or plan out ahead that struggle the most with doordash. That and drivers with v8's or v6's instead of a hybrid, electric, or gas efficient inline 4. The more gas you save the more you make and if its a good brand you save on maintenance too
A 3 dollar order on earn per offer could be 7-10 on earn my time if your slow or there hiccups
I have achieved platinum but not sure it is really helping me. The only real benefit is the ability to dash anytime which helps me a lot but I don’t see a huge difference in the higher paying offers. Seems like if I get a really nice one the mileage is often still ridiculous.

Yep, same here. Before, with a 95+ CR, I was able to schedule at 3PM where there were plenty of hours available. I couldn't even schedule for this coming Sunday at all. It's absurd.

My market silver is 60% and 95% , Gold and Platinum are 80% and 97%, for Platinum you need 150 rolling deliveries over the past 30 days , and no dash now feature you have to schedule, and early access schedules use to be 3pm now its 3am , so you have to get up at 3am juat to schedule.
Doesn't matter what level you are it matters how close you are to the order I think
My AR is 72% but can’t get them to give me enough orders to hit 100 a month to get platinum. But lately it’s been picking up so if this keeps up I’ll be good. Finally !!!!
When you go from platinum to silver in less than 24 hours. Yup!!! Higher paying my can. I that night i kept getting $2/offers including tip going 5+ miles. One said $5 for 15.2 miles (includes tip). My current AR is 68%, CR 100%, rating 4.98. I'm not working for free. When DD does their job, then I will dash to that door.
I was top dasher every single month after I hit my 200 deliveries. Now with this new program, I dropped to silver. I was platinum for 1 day. I am at 69% acceptance rate so now until I can get up my AR, I have to schedule. This is awful. I DD part time because I have a 9-5 job too.
I'm platinum status DD is horrible now I was making 100-125 working 6.5 hours the last 3 weeks i am averaging 60$ for the same 6.5 hours not even minimum wage this is horrible I made 42$ today definitely not worth it DD is broken I'm in California
I have 358 deliveries last 30 days. Platinum 85% acceptance rate, 100% completions, 5.0 rating. Last week I made a little under $900 DDing only. I'm in NC. Big Tip FIND YOUR SWEET SPOT! And it is usually NOT the big towns!

I'm platinum. I definitely see better orders. However there is some trash. The best AR to keep is somewhere in the low to mid 80's.
When I was between 50 and to 70 I only got low orders. When I decided to give up it took me 1 hour to go from 70 to 55
@@Livingmydreammmnew market is the same, super trashy. It’s impossible to keep a buffer without running a charity case for dd. The adjacent market i moved from was good, but i decided for two reasons not to commute to the better market 30 miles each way on top of shift miles bc i want to minimize miles and conserve energy. Tons of drivers commute just to dash which blows my mind. Doortrash execs have their place in hell, they’re usury exploiters.
I can't do the 100 orders in rolling 30 day match and this past week I finally fell below 90%. I part time 3-5 days a week depending on my health and weather but the new program hasn't hit yet.
And it appears they lowered the pay for EBT around the Pittsburgh area. $1 lower now than a month ago if I’m not mistaken. I only checked a few zones while out in about.
DoorDash keeps my Seattle runs away from the total actual deliveries so can’t qualify for platinum.
I only get shop and deliver in Everett which pays the same as regular ones so 2-6 dollars including tips and mileage 1 to 1

One thing missing as you started your AR climb shortly after the tier system hit your market, you don't know how the tier system will affect cherry picking in your market.
Im in Victorville ca their 6 towns where i live. Next big city 30 mins away. Before this teir program i used fluctuate from 39-70%. I am a chery picker and i multi-apping when im on shift. I use to get a lot of shop and pay orders now Im at platinum i dont see them at all. My husband works morning job and i only dash at 4 or 5 hrs in the afternoons and weekends sat &Sunday. Since i been accepting more order to get to platinum i seen my pay margain doubled. Im onlybworking 4 days. Before i would work 5-6 days.
The acceptance rate is the worst part of this new update. If you have a 70 it will take you about 8 to 9 back to back accepted orders for your acceptance rate to go up meaning you’re gonna take any order just to be able to qualify for the reward system and the high paying rewards is very misleading. Also needs to be increased. It was 1475 hourly and they changed it back to 13 even with no update on why the change happened. Also getting 100 deliveries and 30 days is an easy if you have vacation or you just can’t DoorDash for the week also making you feel like a slave to DoorDash very close to calling it quits myself. I have a 75% acceptance rate but it rarely goes up but can go down with just one declined offer
I’ve been able to stay above 70% and cherry pick Uber eats orders and I’ve been at 20 to 23 an hour consistently so I gotta be happy with that.

My current acceptance rate I got up to 38% from 18%. I was at 40% before my last shift.

Rewards here in California requires 80% accetance, 98% completion 4.8 rating for gold.and need 150 deliveries to hit platinum..........

I just can’t get my DoorDash acceptance rating up past 54%. It goes up then a bunch of terrible offers cause it to go down or offers I can’t do because I’m not allowed on a military base. I just give up on the AC

I had a shop and deliver at Target when a customer needed 1 item which was a pregnancy test and got tipped a $1 and the base pay was $3.50 lol
DO DASH ALONG THE WAY! Big Tip! When driving to my location, I will watch for Dash Along The Way to pop up. As soon as it does 90% of the time it will give me a good ratio order from where I am at. Meaning in 7 miles or, it will ADD that 7 miles to the total income for that delivery. So I am now literally getting paid to drive TO my location! It hairband now often that not. And I am not even in the same district yet when I get the offer. Learn where yours will Allow Dash Along The Way to take place. And hit it as soon as it is possible. I do this daily.. I hope this helps.
They should allow you to reset the AR after 500 or 1000 dashes

I work at my children's school, so I picked up dd as supplementary income in January knowing that I would not be paid through the summer. When I started, the money was phenomenal here in Toledo, Ohio. I've been following your page for a while now, and I feel like it is great for my situation, but not sure I would do it as 100 % of my income.
I am currently at 93% AR and 100% completion. With 4.89 rating and 92% on time or early. For the most part, I average $20 per hour but I have yet to hit 100 deliveries in 30 days because of my availability.
I was using pr offer but realized I will have to pay out more taxes as they are bigger tips. Hourly is the way to go imo because then you are still getting paid when you get stuck at a location that is way behind or other unforseen circumstances.

I still see it ranked at the top for best gigs 2024. So since you’ve been steady, you think it’s worth it?? How are changes over the past 2 years

I’m at 120 rolling deliveries
They only do it in small towms
I tried cherry picking on the new program and it does not work. You get the worst orders, I stay above 70% because large orders are worth it and yes, you do get better orders than if you weren’t. In the long run you’re gonna make more money staying above 70% in my market.

If you're getting peak pay and your overall pay is that low, you might be dashing at the wrong time of day or in a bad market.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the Time slot for scheduling 6 days ahead changed from 6 days ahead at 3 pm to 6 days ahead at 3 am ?? I noticed that when i stayed up late one night while looking at scheduling for a Dash the Time slot opened up at 3 am instead of the time I usually wait for it in the afternoon ?? I'm over here in Cali and contacting Support about it was pretty much Useless just giving the excuse of just Raise your Ratings and acceptance rate to alow you to schedule properly.... which is stupid since it says otherwise when you acquire the advanced scheduling by unlocking Silver Tier
Other dashers have noticed this too. They set an alarm so they can get up at 3am.
@@nocturnus6 yeah I went to uninstall and reinstall and I think that for some reason fixed that on my end ? Will check back in an hour when it's 3 pm for me
@@nocturnus6 OK It Fixed itself for some stupid Reason have to Completely Reinstall the Dasher App and it went back to the normal scheduling Hr as indicated, had to test things myself since Contacting Support about anything now a days is useless unless it involves fixing an issue with an order.
@@Pockyman1 Kind of surprised it was an App issue. I was seeing strange things with the schedule, I was able to see the early schedule before 3pm. Also, my scheduled shifts would go away, then they'd come back. I did get an App update in the last few days, and everything is back to normal. I guess if something isn't acting right, update and/or uninstall/reinstall.

I was a top dasher with over 80 % ratings and 99% acceptance rate but had to cancel 3 orders last week due to orders being too big for my bike and now I'm no longer a top dasher. Stupid

He was cherry picking several videos ago, and if I recall right it was terrible. I think that's why he decided to get his AR to tier levels. I too am disappointment he didn't test out Platinum. It must be frustratingly hard to reach, so much so he gave up. I'm still not quite clear on the final results, they seemed mixed.
Keep in mind, homie hasn't done DD in like 2 years.
