Saludos,m soy venezolano, hay mucho parecido entre esta lengua y el francés, claro la pronunciación es difererente pero básicamente tienen la misma estructura, me pregunto si un patuá parlante y un francófono metropolitano podrían comunicarse, prácticamente son las mismas expresiones con pronunciaciones diferentes.
Creo que los francófonos de Francia no podrían entender el patuá porque vengo de Martinica y aquí hay un idioma que se llama « créole » se habla en Guadalupe también pero es diferente que nosotros y parece mucho mucho al patuá ( hablamos francés también) y los francófonos no lo entienden bien .
The title of the video is clearly in Spanish, "Patuá" is the name given and it's intimately related to Frech "patwa/patois" from the lesser Antilles and Trinidad, the Haitian creole presents differences and certainly this is not Jamaican Creole, which is Engliah-based. What happens here is a problem of translation as in French and Spanish is "Patois/Patuá" and not creole (the English translation). This language here is the Venezuelan patuá, a rare strand that is dying.

Patois is actually a French word and is used for French creole in the Caribbean.
