That first one was a 4 cylinder for sure. And the straight pipe would be soooooo much better with an x pipe

Yeah, he said it was a 1996. They were all 1.9 f 4 cylinder that year. The 2nd one was a 2002.

On the muffler delete set up you definitely hear the I6 wayyy better. First set up sounded like a raspy 4cy.

I have a similar Z3 3.0i like the one in the video (minus the horrible decals). If you're gonna do a muffler delete, KEEP the resonator. His car also looks like it's in dire need of a set of coilovers. The front end bounced about 3 times before settling down after it rolled off the lift. Overall, those cars deserve better. Specifically the 3.0i. Mine is kept in very good shape and only driven on weekends in the summer. Otherwise she stays covered. The guy with the 4 cylinder Z3, cool car, but honestly a Miata is better. The charm of the Z3 lies within the 2.8 and 3.0 engines.

My Z3 was one of the best sounding of these cars I've heard and all I did was muffler delete stock exhaust otherwise. The cats really cut down on the rasp. Shame these cars ended up sounding so bad. Maybe its the aftermarket headers?

Sounds like shit when you straight pipe Bmw I6, you need some type of resonator or a full cat back exhaust for it to sound good
