on the celica leave the backbox on and straight pipe the resonator instead, its a lot deeper and not as ricey sounding then

If you advance the timing it also sounds a lot less ricey. Just 10-20 degrees makes all the difference.

J Rivera I will man! I've gotta ask your opinion on something I have a 2001 celica gt (1zzfe) the motor isn't the greatest...should I swap a JDM 1zz in it or 2zz?
+PappyStanceX2 I'm actually about to make a video on what mods to do depending on what Celica , we have the 1zz which is a great motor to boost , it can handle up to 240/250 hp so eh personally I plan on boosting but if you're deciding between these two I would go with the 2zz so basically our motor 1zz is better for boosting the 2zz would be better for NA mods like upgrading the internals and tunning I'll make a video this week on it
J Rivera I kinda want to boost it but i'm not sure what all I have to do/buy if you're gonna boost your 1zz I want the mod list w/ links

I’m watching this video because I know celicas have similar engines to the mr2, I recently chopped my mr2 exhaust off because I’m rebuilding it and now I’m getting the engine fixed up before the new exhaust comes in so I’m scared of owning a rice mobile for a bit 😂
Lol it sounded very rice mostly because of all the resonators the Celica has , I took my muffler off because I got rear ended and the piping was messed up so yeah it was bad 😅

What kind of headlights does the z3 have?
It's the stock headlights my buddy opened them up and put in halos makes it look nice a bit more modern
also get some raceland coilovers for your celica
I did a muffler delete on my celica and it sounds way better than yours. Idk what you guys did but ur sounds more like a civic muffler delete 😂 mine sounded less quite yet loud. The only part I love about the sound is when I hit LIFT 🤤🤤🤤
What did you do to it ? I removed the main back muffler because I got rear ended and the stock exhaust was bent to hell lol . Also I'm guessing it may sound different because you have a 2zz? Luckily now with my new set up instead of sounding really shitty it'll be somewhat loud with a lot of turbo noises 😁

i had a celica for my first car, shit got totaled. now that i know more about cars i know that celicas are fwd ricers and honestly i can say that such a nice fine design of a car was wasted on that 4 cylinder fwd :( celicas could have had more potential, its true though, its a nice fun starter car and hatchbacks are great, mine was a fartbox, previous owner put a custom useless exhaust on mine lol

Kenny Vue there’re really good quality and best if you wanna slam your car since it has stiffer spring rates. Only bad side is that they cost around 1400 but you get what you pay for
