Welcome to our latest family adventure where we decided to trek up to the Little Greenbrier School in the Smoky Mountain National Park. We decided to do a different hike here as we had a another place we wanted to do, but it was a great choice for us to do, and we're bringing you along on an unforgettable journey filled with excitement, nature, and a little bit of thrill. 🌄👣
On this adventure we headed to Metcalf Bottoms Trail in the Smoky Mountain National Park. There was a church that was also the school and a cemetery right outside the church. The scenery heading up to the schoolhouse was amazing. Being able to walk up to the school without falling over the roots along the way was a plus to this adventure. 🤣
Everyone had a wonderful time visiting the Greenbrier School. Being able to watch the girls have fun inside a school was exciting.
If you’re considering visiting Metcalf Bottoms trail, we highly recommend taking the time to come visit. On a side note to remember is you could drive up to the schoolhouse, but you'll miss out on the trail and watching the water flow next to the trail. If you've been here, let us know. We'd love to hear your experience at Metcalf Bottoms Trail. Btw, I had a little tongue-tied issues trying to pronounce Metcalf. 🤣
