  • How to install an energy monitor to an electricity meter
Our monitors couldn’t really be much simpler to install.
Simply put the clamp onto the live mains cable in your fuse-box (or attach the IR sensor onto your meter for IR version) and put the display on your coffee table!
Then program the display for your own requirements and that’s it!

Hi Wenxian, through our ecotouch we provide smart sockets to control appliances but they can't measure. At the end of this year we will release a socket capable of doing both things.

Hi efergy, what is the approx range of the wireless system from transmitter to the receiver unit.

The unit connected to the senter, no issue btw :D.
Question, my meter has 4 wires coming in, but according to the manual for the powermeter it's a one phased unit (although the manual for the E2 stated for my country its normally 3 phased..Norway). In this case, I only need one sensor installed then, not all 3 included?

is it possible to upgrade the elite single phase to a 3 phase by just purchasing extra jackplug sensors?

Do you have smart socket / plug that does the same thing (measure and logging) to a socket?

Hi Nurul, the energy monitors are designed to monitor overall home consumption. We have a new product that will monitor individual appliances and devices. It's called the ego. We have a video about the ego here:
      czcams.com/video/HirqeNbLg98/video.html
We also have a longpage at ego.efergy.com that explains the product.
This product is available to buy at www.efergy.com.

I live in a condo complex with a carport. My carport is next to the electric meter wall. There is a place for me to install a 240 plug of the building electricity and not mine. Can I install a 240 and then it can monitor that for me so I can be billed for my car's charging from the wall? Thanks?
