- In this video, we took four Big Steam Locos and Lashed them up to create a giant train! Enjoy! ✌️👍🚂 #lioneltrains #train #2926 #4014 #ogaugetrains #santafe #unionpacific #1211 #4126 #norfolkandwestern #frisco
These are the kind of videos I like to see and watch. Don't stop and keep having fun!!!
Thanks for the support!
That's some nice rolling stock!!
Thank you! We mostly collect either presidents, candy themed, or holiday cars however we’re getting into some more scale stuff!
Nice stuff there, I have lashed up 8 before on my layout.Got to watch the amp draw
Gotta love a ceiling layout! Great job young man; consider me subbed💪🏽 If I may suggest- a video all about your ceiling layout.
I wanna save you some grief when you start taxing that transformer. The one overload item it cannot account for is (sound) amplifier draw and subsequent power drop. Here’s what happened to me: With huge floor layout and recently a acquired ABBB consist, I fired everything up (some six to seven locomotives) in total, all smoke units on and volume up full. The transformer tripped upon overload but not before blowing the sound board amplifier on one unit. So before you go loading it keep in mind this one fail point. Anyone who’s blown a set of speakers; it’s not the speaker failing, it’s the subsequent spike as the amplifier is starved of power when being pushed.
Thanks for the input! I’ll definitely consider doing a video all about my layout
Amazing video
16:25 ON THE GROUND! The rear truck of 4014 is off the track.
lol! I noticed that when I was editing it! I’m surprised it didn’t short but I guess it righted itself again
Awesome train and locomotives brother! Keep it up!
Thanks!
I will thanks! Yes, we are running 072 curves on our layout. Full Legacy Control. We run pretty much all Lionel cause that’s what we grew up on. Thanks for the comment!
I haven't seen so many locos lashed together as one - well done! I have mainly MTH and have only lashed up 3 locos before. Are you running O-72 curves for the Big Boy? TMCC or Legacy control? I finished installing a Mill House Studio turn table today at the Club layout in Sydney, Australia - the biggest one they make and my MTH Big Boy just fits on it. Wonderful!
Check out my own turntable on my home layout... a bit different but I have minimal room: czcams.com/video/argh-0dfJUY/video.html&ab_channel=PeterG
Please do not put these beautiful locomotives on the carpet, put them on a lid or anything that won’t get hair in the gears
I don’t believe it will and I only had them on the floor for about a minute and I usually put them on a towel
