How to Change Spark Plugs on 1.8L Yamaha WaveRunner | VX HO , GP1800R HO

Save money by changing your own spark plugs at home. This video was on a 2023 GP1800R HO but will be the same for many Yamaha waverunners.
Tools needed
-6mm Allen Wrench
-5/8 Spark plug Socket
-Screw Driver
-10mm socket
-Spark plug gap tool

When putting coil packs back in make sure you put some grease around the seals, not so important on a newer ski but once they get older the sealing Oring gets dry and can let water in, then you have all sorts of problems when there’s rust in there!

I don't bother disconnecting the coil packs connector. There is enough wire slack to pull them still connected. I do one at a time. Take old plug out, put new plug in, grease inside tip of coil pack rubber boot with dialectic grease. Reinstall coil pack and move to next one...
