I feel like we needed to see more of Task Force 141 together towards the start of the story, maybe for the first 3 missions at least, then as the story unravels, the team starts splitting up more to tackle more objectives so that it feels like the team is being torn apart. Also I think Ghost needs a huge rewrite down to his lore. After Simon Riley "dies" and he becomes Ghost, he meets Graves and joins Shadow Company. Then in the story of MWII, TF141 sends Soap to help with Shadow Company and Los Vaqueros. Ghost, Soap, and Alejandro form a friendship, they all fail their mission, Norris orders SC to arrest LV and Soap. Ghost feels like its a betrayal and turns on SC to help Alejandro and Soap.

If only we made Khaled to be revealed to be Hadir. It would add more challenge. Maybe Hadir could’ve been an antagonist alongside an escaped Julian Kostov Makarov. Maybe Julian could’ve been the antagonist for Ramirez. As he dealt with him before. And Price was none the wiser. Maybe the reason why Ramirez obsesses with Julian was because he was present in Takistani civil war in 2012 and his task force searched for terror targets. And he didn’t know the mastermind of the attacks in the civil war was Julian Makarov and he was tortured and he forgotten about this guy until reappearing in 2019 and it gave him some flashbacks. It’s revealed that he was brainwashed to forget his actions. But also he’s a possible sleeper agent unactiviated. And he’s a potential danger. Hadir went through sleeper program and he became khaled al Assad . But before he became khaled, he had a double to pose as Hadir. And admit that he made a mistake and would want to reveal that he was protecting Farah from a bigger threat. But the double dies and reveals that Khaled is Hadir. The shades and beard disguised his face

Like in 2019, it was led by the Wolf and butcher, then Khalid Al Asad, then all of a sudden in MWII, this general Kabroni guy is leader of AQ, then Hassan once Kabroni is blasted, yet Hassan never references the Wolf or Al-Asad, then in RAIDS, Hadir is the leader even though I’m pretty sure he was meant to be Al-Asad. Honestly i love this, Norris did seem like someone who’ll turn on his Allies for his own gain and seeing that they couldn’t get him and graves and now that they’re enemies of the United States and now decommissioned as 141 basically means that they’re alone and only Laswell can help but she’s in the spotlight too, so is Los Vaqueros and Farah and her liberation forces but I see the demon dogs especially Griggs not trusting the colonel now general Norris and actually helping 141 as they knew something was wrong with Norris, and they don’t respect him only his rank; not the man behind it. Also since most of 141 has worked alongside MARSOC and others they’ll be suspect of how 141 and Kate Laswell are the enemies of the state and while Gen Norris is comfortable, the rest will find out and help 141 as marines are loyal to their people not to a greedy man who nearly stated ww3 and got thousands of innocents killed
Also I think that having General Shepard be on Laswell’s side and helping 141 take down Norris will be a nice plot twist and show that Shepard is a great man and doesn’t want to play by Norris’s rules, he’ll stand by his friends

I think the revised story of MWII sounded good, but I think it might make sense if Norris had Shadow Company to betray Graves too with the promise of big fat bonus since Graves does not want to go with the order to detain TF141 and Los Vaqueros. As a result, Graves joins the fight alongside TF141 against Norris in order to take back Shadow Company.
Another thing I want to add would be Kamarov returning to aid Captain Price in some ways like giving Price USB drive that contains incriminating evidence against Norris, which originally was in possession of Alex who was investigating whole incident, only for Norris to send some Shadow Company PMCs under his payroll to silence him and nearly killed had it not been Kamarov's act.

It is literally on the same peninsula (which in itself is a huge problem for the setting) as Urzikstan, have the same aesthetics. Hell, IW themselfs dropped it, when in Season 3 SpecOps mission showed that Al-Mazrah is in Urzinkstan (also setting new location for Urzikstan which makes a lot more sense geographically)

I would’ve relocated Urzikstan to the eastern Caspian Sea. Plus it can explain why it’s closer to Iran than by the Caucasus region. And also Adal could’ve been relocated between Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. And maybe Egypt as well. By the Red Sea. It makes sense that it has some important port access to the suez canal. Also the capital city of Al Mazrah sounds more Arabic than Urzikstan. Because the stans would be set in Central Asia more. And parts of Iran and India. Also both these countries are set in the desert. But Urzikstan can border Turkmenistan and Iran and Adal can border with Saudi Arabia.

One think about Adal is that it's has Soviet nuclear bunker under it (Koshei Complex, you know). So, it's suppose to border at least ex-soviet countries.
With out it, Adal would perfectly fit somewhere around Yemen or Oman, bordering Red and Arabian Seas.

Now MWIII needs a real rewrite. I imagine it as a 2 POV game. On the one side we see operations being conducted by a more expanded version of TF141 and of course with assistance from DEVGRU and Shadow co or Nikolai's FSB contacts cooperating in the hunt for Makarov. While on the other side we have Andrei Nolan being the newest member of Konni group, giving the player's choice of partaking in the cruel terroristic acts or resist Makarov's commands. Although the "good guys" try to stop Makarov shit hits the fan and the Russian government declares war on Urzikstan again and starts a more destructive invasion than the one in 2019.

  • @CommanderDrake
    @CommanderDrake Před 11 dny +1

    A few things:
    1) I don't think a missile attack on US soil would be brushed off like that....especially by a group that is directly affiliated with US's geopolitical enemies. We're talking potential WW3 here. Plus I feel like it feels like the more over the top stuff that the reboot MW mostly stayed away from.
    2) Norris is pretty much just General Shepherd...and I don't think it fixes the problem that most people had with MWII....it's predictable. Everyone knew from the start that Graves and Shadow Company would betray you one way or another. I think a more interesting choice would be for example make 141 "betray" Shadow Company after being misled by Shepherd/Norris. For example...after the missiles strikes...Shepherd/Norris needs a scape goat. Let's also work with the fact that Graves isn't really happy to be US's laptop for example...he dislikes the red tape and the politics of it all....so he takes a much more direct approach..often leading to politically senstive incidents (like leveling an entire city with an AC-130). For Shepherd/Norris/US he becomes a loose end..something that needs to dealt with sooner that later in order to preserve the plausible deniability of their ops....so in order to do that...they manufacture evidence that it was Graves that was selling AQ the missiles all along.
Don't take it as me hating please😅

I was working on a rewrite on wattpad for mw3 but i wanna see how yours plays out i like the idea of mw2 with norris instead of shepherd it brings more kick to it, i do however like the idea of the four horsemen being within the ranks of the friendlies norris actually being a member alongside al asad makarov and zakhaev since in this version they are all trying to profit from war and rule the world makes great for the story. Graves isn’t aware of this and does his dead dad’s battle buddy a favor being family and all makes for a better twist since he realizes through the seasons that makarov and norris are apart of the same team and why norris denies him to help save his men when konni steal the missiles from them i still think the good guys stopping the missiles should’ve stayed the same just so this can further show Graves love for TF 141 and his suspicions of LV mainly Alejandro due to Norris convincing him through their radio chatter when Graves was alone leading to the mission alone. Hassan getting killed is still the same showing more of the Soap and Ghost bond as he sees Soap becoming a Captain the missions with Gaz and Price stay the same and Laswell discovering the “truth” also stays the same but she just misses the details that Norris is the Fourth Horseman and that the theft was a set up by Makarov and Norris. The last cutscene should stay the same to further intensify the odds including No Russian. As for Graves finding the truth after Konni infiltrated SC in the last season of MW2 Graves tells Farah and Alex of the intel which leads to their relationship being more stable and also after learning this intel Farah get in contact with General Shepherd giving him this info since he instead of Laswell helps Farah in the raid mission when he sends Price and Gaz for the mission. General Shepherd uses this to manipulate Norris and uses this against him to fill his own personal gain unbeknownst to TF 141 ULF LV and SC due to some deeply personal issues that involves Makarov’s father during the cold war which adds confirmation to his owns suspicions and leads to the events of MW3 rewrite also General Shepherd doesn’t notify TF 141 of the fact that SC were pawns of Norris and were used in all this just to create some hostility and also make the cutscene between Farah and Price make fucking sense in the MW3 rewrite bc man IW pulling the good ole well you keep secrets it keep secrets bs was that pure bs made no sense at all

This is great, but I think this would make the game overall shorter. Another thing I find odd is the whole motive of General Norris in this rewritten version of the campaign. It would have made more sense if Norris had a goal that involved more brutality, and not just self gain. The main issue with the current campaign is the plot. The main plot is finding the missiles, and that's really all there is to it. They really should've brought back Alex in this game, and should've made a seperate mission that continues from Alex's perspective in the very last mission of MW19. This way they could use Alex in MW3, and also in MW2's campaign. They should've also explored outside of Task Force 141 too so that it would have more impact on the on-going conflict. The involvment of more than our main cast and the Shadow Company/Villans would make the story much more realistic.

Aswell as shepherds capture at the hands of konni which only makes sense if graves removed his shadows from his protection detail due to the congressional hearing between them. Just seems odd that price got into the heavily monitored Pentagon and killed a three star general and left. Assuming the writing is spot on could norris through his graves connection be the reason as to why? Was the sheperd we got a red herring to the true betrayal of a comrade? But I will say that killing Hassan was probably a good idea instead of him being the final boss.
But I am curious where MW3 will go as MW2's rewrite gets shaken up at the end. I'd also be curious if there'll be a rewrite of the story for each season between MW2 and MW3's launch. As we had events like Alejandro going to Urzikstan because Valeria escaped prison and went there and we also had season 5's reveal that Graves had survived and was not wanting to help Farrah and the ULF defend Urzikstan.

The mini story they did with Zakhaev was good but he deserved a full game plot imo. He obviously has to die in that game but maybe Hadir survives and still remains a threat for MW3 along with the Iranian side plot. This would extend the series into 5 games (since in my lore Makarov gets intro on MW4 which extends to MW5).

I feel like the action of general Norris feels somewhat unthinkable and would’ve like to see somewhat of a deeper dive into Grave after the two strikes in American and what he thought about giving the missles to the Russians.
But overall an alright story, liked the original one better though.

This is a pretty good rewrite if I do say so myself. It gets rid of that lame reason for Graves and the Shadows taking over Alejandro's base. I also like how the reason for TF141 becoming enemies of the states is handled. I myself am actually in the process of rewriting the MW Reboot trilogy. I'm no writer of course, but I feel like I could give the community something better than what Activision forced us to have for MWIII. I'd love to share it with you, having more opinions and some constructive criticism could go a long way. Great video and rewrite from the both of you 💙

Although I replace task force 141 with 142 and Adal would be a good setting for the start and middle of this story rewrite. Plus the reason why 142 is because 141 was already taken in 2004 and 2010 when their task to kill Vladimir Makarov succeeded. Also there would be an international anti terror task force United antiterrorism coalition. Established in 1985 after the Draka green light nukes occured. It was also some deterrence to prevent superpowers from one upping against each other. Plus it formed to stop terrorist attacks and even prevent a world war. Unfortunately this was semi successful as the Tel Aviv war in 2005 sparked the world war 3 event with the earlier wars occurring like the Saramkoryo uprising, Taiwan war, the Saudi Iran war, Drakan civil war, the second Latin American war, and of course the crusade war on terror occurring the same Tel Aviv was attacked or even earlier before Tel Aviv. But the great task force 141 succeeded in not going after the warmongers but somewhat stopping the earlier wars from continuing on. A ceasefire came in 2010 after Makarov was found dead and the superpowers decided to stop killing each other and start going after their common enemy: Draka’s burning flag paramilitary. Iran after the war became a major power again thanks to Chinas military presence and established their sphere of influence and later joined the Chinese led Strategic Defense Coalition. A coalition of superpower led military alliances mutually align against their rival military union: Guardian Union of Nations. A USA led military coalition.

As a black man who loves Call of Duty I appreciate how Activision tried to do representation with Gaz. My idea is honestly to make it a joint DEA-USSOCCOM operation with shadow company being involved under homeland security’s money instead of a single seemingly low ranking general like shepherd, with them working in conjunction with los vaqueros, also the whole thing with hassan being untouchable makes no sense, especially when you consider that at the very least the US government and MEXICAN government can charge him with entering their borders illegally (i highly doubt he would be able to enter both through the legal channels without being detained) and not even mentioning the fact the man was involved in the deaths of US law enforcement officers, which in texas alone would land hassan DECADES in custody for killing peace officers, also the CIA has done worse shit for more petty reasons, and iran would likely bitch about it for 2 days then forget.

I know that one of the points of this rewrite was to make a more realistic approach and stay more in line with MW2019, but I personally feel this rewrite fails at that.
Having Norris want to obtain power and handing missiles to Russian mercs and killing his CO so he takes her place honestly sounds a lot more like a Hollywood blockbuster plot as opposed to Shepherd who was conducting an off-the-books weapons trade that he’s trying to cover up so his legacy isn’t tarnished.
I will say that both his and Graves actions work a lot better here than in the original.
Shepherd and Graves betrayal doesn’t really work because what was the point? There was nothing that suggested 141 or Los Vaqueros were close to unraveling their secret and if anything betraying them was what caused them to figure out the truth. And most notably why didn’t Shepherd just tell them. Price is an “Ends justify the means” type of guy. Chances are he would’ve killed the Butcher’s son to get the location on Hadir but it didn’t come to that. I’m positive if Shepherd had just told them, Price would’ve been on board and helped him and Graves resolve the issue.
Here, Norris already has issues with both Laswell and Price, and when 141 fails to stop the missiles he can pin them as traitors, thus making it seem like the failure to stop the missiles wasn’t on him, but rather a plot by 141 and now he can both get rid of 2 people he dislikes strongly while also being seen as a war hero for it. So good on you for that.

Although I would rewrite Graves as someone who has CEO of Shadow Company as some title but he isn’t really
In control of his company. But his executive friends are. And they’re not on his side and sway Grave to not trust Vaqueros as they’re corrupt but what he doesn’t realize is that the betrayal is only coming from his back. And also only one man is the real mastermind behind the stolen missiles. Rodolfo Parra.
It seems that he has set up Task force 142 to failure. Even using General Norris to help expand his military rank and power in exchange for helping one organizations agenda and interest. One group more dangerous than Al Qatala, the almas cartel, and Konni. Hassan like his general Ghorbrani was some loose end to him and wants him killed. He does kill Hassan. To prevent info leaking. Uses the failure of preventing a missile attack and cause some false flag attacks to have the country of Aquila to align with the USA. As the South American federation was expanding and they’re fearful of Chinas allies from expanding into Americas front door. And also the fourth corporate war is happening at the same time with Arasaka and Militech warring with each other.

The rogue traitors of Shadow company are Peacemaker. And Homelander. Peacemaker wanted Graves to understand why a mutiny in his shadow company occured and that he needs to step down as CEO. And he must eliminate task force 142. Graves doesn’t want to betray task force for the pleasing of his executive friends. Peacemaker and Homelander have to eliminate graves as he’s a liability and Graves decide to side with Task force and before Alejandro gets shot in the back by Rodolfo, a moment there, he realizes Alejandro wasn’t the corrupt officer but a goodwill officer. And Graves feels at that shocking death moment that his shadow company was too comprised. That he hid alongside some remaining loyal shadows and two vaqueros who arent captured by the rogue shadow soldiers. Some are willing to betray and some are hypnotized by the numbers program. Graves does join task force 142 and stop his rogue shadow company and knows their tactics. As well as getting remaining vaqueros and some las almas cartel members led by Valeria. To join with tf 142 in a new joint task force ghosts. Samuel Roukin the second Simon Riley uncovers his face to Johnny soap MacTavish and sees that he didn’t hide his face because it’s id covering but because he’s really disfigured and soap accepts him for that and ghost realizes that he loves soap. It would explain why later when soap was nearly being killed by peacemaker, that ghost says soap my love loudly when he’s in danger. But then Valeria rescues soap and helps ghost kill peacemaker because Rodolfo had another missile attack planned with las almas as the next target. And must prevent that missile from starting another war. Amber does stop Rodolfo with soap and Valeria aiding her. Rodolfo in his dying moments tells task force that Odysseus is coming. And you won’t survive for long. Odysseus. Foreshadowing the arrival of Raul Menendez. And Perseus. The black ops connections are strong in this one

The MW2 we got seemed to be rewritten last minute during the writing process. The theme of “Choices have consequences” advertised is evident of this. MW2 was supposed to be a Sicario inspired war on drugs story but Activision wanted to shoe horn their “America always Good” politically correct narrative. A better story could’ve been about Zakhaev and the cartel having some sort of connection, maybe weapons dealings since he was an armed dealer in 2019. Which could tie into Zakhaev smuggling Islamic terrorist into the U.S. via cartel drug routes.

Dlcs or expansion focusing on cartel vs los vanqueros it explains makarov creating his connections with different criminals organizations and Even some connections to raul menandez and also a spin off on shadow company. This was a great rewrite for the MWII story we got but it still doesn’t connect with MW19 IMO. It still tosses Hadir to the side as if he never existed. Norris doesn’t strike me as someone who is power hungry & would kill the General to get it. He wanted an immediate qrf after his marines went down with Alex. Graves is a great character but his story would have to connect someway with MW19 story. I always felt that LASWELL should’ve been the one who betrayed TF141 since they have that trust with her for so long. CIA is supposedly always in some sort of “shady” things so she would be a great gateway into that chapter of the story.

You need to seriously replay the game again, and get some character analysis for your story. Norris is a horrible choice. At least use a different Shepherd. Think about the plot, it has to make sense. You can't just say oh we lost, it's your fault I'm gonna kill you for treason. It makes 0 sense.

You could have fixed why Hassan was released when the first mission in the game was to kill or capture him. Hell, even you killed him in your version. How did that make any sense?
Here's stuff you did well so that you don't get the impression of me putting you down:
      - DDs return is a nice addition. It builds on MW1 and brings characters like Griggs back for a cameo.
      - Graves being shown to be alive as compared to "Well, I wasn't in that tank."
Here's stuff you really did wrong:
      - Norris. For the sake of being devil's advocate let's say Norris actually plotted the assassination of a US General, and countless marines, leaked national intelligence to an ultranationalist Russian PMC who commit terror on a global scale, collaborated with said terror organization to kill hundreds of thousands of American citizens, and... I mean even hypothetically speaking it doesn't make sense. I in all sincerity can't find a single reason why this would be feasible. Norris was a conservative man, maybe even a racist, but he wasn't someone to kill thousands of Americans to get a raise. You made it so that not only he gets away with ALL of that, but he also manages to paint 141, and Laswell as enemies of the state with the whole genocide in Las Almas and literally dozens of eyewitnesses who can vouch for 141? I mean, 141 could literally tell the truth and congress would actually see if it's true or not. It's not a small allegation.
      - Makarov. The point of MW2 was to introduce Makarov, from the get-go. He manages to almost start a war between Iran and US without even being seen or heard. He is shown to be a master tactician and someone who has been rigorously planning WW3 and US' downfall for decades. You instead painted him as a gun for hire. He helped Norris who is American. That's completely out of character for Konni and Makarov.
You need to think of this as real-life. How can I kill off an official military representative of a foreign nation when I literally released him when I caught him because of so-called laws? How can I make a civil war and coup in the US ranks and make 141 the enemy? The story needs to make sense. The characters need to make sense.
You want to paint 141 as the enemies of the state? Just change the Hassan part, and instead focus on MW3. Have 141 disobey a direct order to stop the chemicals to pursue Makarov and try to kill him. Have them fail to kill Makarov but stop him from whatever he was going to do and let the missile kill hundreds of thousands. Court-martial 141 and have them go rogue because they know Makarov is still out there. Justify them pursuing Makarov by saying he was going to do sth worse. Sacrifice the few to save the many and have 141 take the fall for the few.
You need to play with the politics for MW to make sense. Play with perception. Paint 141 as just soldiers trying to do good, not heroes. They are a black ops unit, and with them being on the run you can make them ruthless, showing the audience a much darker and at times more questionable side of 141. You need to also replay MW1. What made MW1 great was the moral questions you had to ask yourself. The fact the game made us learn trigger discipline to not accidentally kill NPCs says it all. Make us care about the choices, about the story, and understand why it is the way it is.

    • @a.c.e7407
      @a.c.e7407 Před 11 dny +1

@@BranWolfYT I'm not trying to put you down. Not at all. I am just being strict because I want you to do better if you want more people to watch these videos.
The story of MW is about geopolitics, humans being humans, and war. You need to really understand the motivations of these characters. AQ isn't being an asshole, they're motivated by an extremist form of Islam and an unrestrained form of resistance to western interventions. They commit acts of terror to make a point. That's a motivation, a mindset.
Same for Konni. They are patriots under the illusion painted by Makarov.
Same for Shadow. They are guns for hire. Graves needs to keep up face to get more military contracts, so he won't commit blatant acts of war or terror just because someone told him to. In MW2, he goes on a rampage to find the missiles after Shepherd puts more pressure on him. He needs to satisfy Shepherd because he lost the missiles, and he needs Shepherd's contracts.
Same for 141. They're soldiers, not heroes. You need to paint them as such. Their rogue arc needs to be genuine. They should go rogue, not be framed. Have them make a choice that is necessary but also ends up with them becoming court-martialed.
You need to think of why each of these people do what they do. They are all inspired by a rich history of modern geopolitics and warfare. Puppeteer them as such.
