Most commercial pickles arent fermented theyre pickled. Its a different process and though tasty doesnt have the same bacteria
I’ve done 50 hours of an 80 hours fast if I can go the whole of tomorrow then break 10am Thursday I’m good. Pray for me. You can always use Greek yogurt kifir on fruits and berries but first a spoon. Of extra virgin oil after yoghurt 🍦 fruit’s berries with oats and chia seeds. Then boiled eggs 🥚 maybe avocado 🥑 break pastry toast with latte warm beverage with milk soup bone broth salad main meal Beans you can even order but have the light meals first eggs sardines it does not have to be expensive make your own soup 🥣 ❤ pray for me

I do not eat fish or seafood of any kind. Ever. What can I do in place of it?

Not bad I’ve not been able to repeat as I’m on 18 hours now in March I want to do ADF 36 hours one day after the order for 3 months maybe will inject 48- to 3 days those. Sometimes you have to rest and take a break. Change things up as I’m recovering ❤️🩹 from a chest infection mind you the scales move once. You lose weight by inches trying old jeans 👖 that never use to fit you. Good 👍 🍀 luck 🍀
I think you have the most perfect food combos that I have seen in a long time. I don't have time to prepare these fancy Dancy vegan with all that cutting and special food with different types of spices I don't own or meat stew meals with a thousand different kinds of vegetables. I won't do it anyway. This really makes sense to me. What an upgrade from grilled chicken and a handful of broccoli.

I learnt a new food hack this week. Adding mustard seeds to crucifious vegetables. Creates an cancer fighting enzyme... So I had sprouts sautéed in mustard seeds and butter tonight. Delicious

Where did you purchase fermented pickles? Most pickles are pickled which doesn’t retain all the beneficial bacteria as fermentation

Ok but longer fasts u should not break with something high sugar like fruit. For a shorter fast its fine I suppose.
What a fab meal, bravo. A note on the pickle, fermented foods lose benefits if pickled in vinegar. Bon appetit.

Just a note. Avacado is high in omega 3. Salmon or any fish is high in omega 6. Omega 6 increases inflammation while omega 3 reduced it. Eat more omega 3s which comes from chia or flax seeds or avacados. Reduce omega 6.

Dude fish is highin dha and epa which is omega 3. Avocado has ala omega 3, our brain needs dha and epa, not ala.
Avocado also is high I n omega 6 mate.

I agree with the chicken 🐔 water melon again no idea where come from.
However watermelon for a diabetic will raise your sugar so high, I don't understand why these people are experts and they don't clarify that it's not for everybody and I have a lot of nutrients but it's not good for diabetics people with diabetes have to watch even the natural sugars

Sadly most of the vegetables have been. Corn originally looked like wheat.

Can I eat any pickles or sauerkraut? I like the sauerkraut from Aldie it’s cheap comes in a glass jar and it’s only like a buck. Will I still get the probiotics and pre-biotics same thing with the pickles??
Any fermented veggie will do
No chillies or marinade on/with the chicken. Is that just personal preference or an aspect of the diet?

It all depends on how many carbs you are eating for the whole day whether it’s keto friendly or not. Wild rice is a high carb food.
I think you can have some within your eating window. It just depends on what your goals are.
@@MikeCola believe it or not I thought wild rice was like a water grass/veggie family so I assumed it would be low carbs and safe to eat during an eating window. My goals are to get unto a 2MAD eating schedule to initially lose weight and then maintain. Thanks Mike, your advice is always appreciated 🙏

I try to buy them on sale, generally sell for $15 but on sale for 10 bucks all the time. Still kind of expensive
I'm going to try eating this specific meal for my fasting. I love everything on that plate and watermelon except for the fish eggs haha..love your videos..i'm starting today. Thank you for the info mike! I just have to narrow down exactly how much to eat as far as calorie intake and finding low carb foods. I'm probably around two hundred pounds maybe a bit more
What would be a good substitute for the fish eggs?
I thought arginine was the precursor to citrulline then converts to nitric oxide. Correct me if I wrong. Great video.

I was vegan for 5 years it fucked up my sleep so not so sure if I will ever go vegan again… Im trying more keto now:) i seriously love coffe with some coconut plant milk in it. And I use glycine powder. Do you use glycine powder? Taurinepowder? Do you take collagen powder? Ive just finished my first meal today😁 gonna just make a smoothie later with collagen powder in it + some supplements I take like choline lions mane etc. i also take adaptogens like schizandra berry, rhodiola rosea and panax ginseng. Do you also take adaptogens?

Oh my goodness! What about food combos, melons: eat em' alone or leave em' alone. Love them but not with all that other stuff. Blows my mind what is missed with all these almost right on guidance videos. Sigh.
I think it’s too much. Start of smaller and gradually work your way into that many calories after a fast.

One of the worst things you can do is break a fast with a big meal. High risk of refeeding syndrome and basic makes that 18 hour fast useless if the first thing you eat is sugar
That’s false- now it might be less effective but your body can’t just magically reverse 18 hours of work unless you really stack up on tons of unhealthy food
Refeeding syndrome happens if you don't eat for like 10 days or literally starved lol.

To most of us, it’s just a normal day skipping breakfast because we all are rushing to work.
Look, our elders had a saying "don't dissect meals' nutrition like that in detail everytime before eating". It's disrespectful.
I’m just trying to explain what’s in the food we eat so people can make better choices.
Your elders are wrong. Dissecting these meals nutrition have really been helpful to help many like me see in practical terms how to organize our meals.
