You really notice that they did everything right with the reveal. But the actual reveal didn't leave the crowd That hyped. Because the writing of Sylvanas and the direction of the lore doesn't feel very earned. It was just decided in a meeting after some discussion that this was suppose to happen. It's nothing new, but as often is, the theorycrafting by the community is better (many different theories) than what Blizzard decides on. Technical hindrances or not, Shadowlands looks cool, but it's not a pay off to anything that came before. Since the Lich King returned and was promptly R.I.P:d by a "mysterious bitch", and she then forces us to go to a land we have heard of but never anywhere near what we're seeing here.
The expansion still has potential, but the huge lore draw of TBC, Wotlk and Legion is almost already gone at the reveal stage.
Whatever dude. As a person that works in video editing and 3D, this project takes around a year and a half to complete. This wasn't decided yesterday.
