Amazing content on how to play the map and avoid your hero's weaknesses while taking advantage of their strengths.
The only thing I disagree with is PA being a bad pick here. While it's true that PA's gameplan is countered by their draft it is also true that their team is very low on disables and most of their damage is right-click physical damage which is something PA excels against.
P.S I would consider PA a bad pick vs
1.High burst heroes Lina, Lion, Morph, Puck, SF, etc
2.Heroes that have a BKB disable Axe, Beastmaster
3. Any natural MKB builder. (even though the item is kinda bad now)
@@happy_thinking I agree. In my opinion its a pretty much free Pa game. Pa is literally immune to 45% of their damage. She one shots the squishy supports. Generally there is no thread at all to be bursted. Main thread is the enemies finishing the game pre 25 minutes with TA blink deso bkb timing, but thats not gonna happen in pubs with broken tower split shot gyph

These have to be hands down the best DotA tutorials available. Valve should hire BSJ to do official tutorials in game, have a whole series on the fundamentals.

@@wilsonborbaneto3003 i mean if you play a lot of dota and think about the enemy heroes strengths you can pinpoint your own heroes weakness, given you have some 1k hrs or more on the game

these videos really have me torn. on one hand theyre super helpful in learning the small details of the game, but on the other hand they basically promote the main problem this game has... smurfing. sucks that five dudes basically had no chance because they had a 9k in their 3k game.

I feel like a huge factor in these games is the fact that
1. Your macro understanding of the game is really good
2. You remain calm no matter what, 4 heroes in your lane, it's fine. You die, it's fine.
The lovely thing about the lower ranked games is if you remain calm, and stick to a game plan, you can win more often than not, or atleast thats what ive found over the last few months. Also getting a teammate back from tilt is a huge huge win
You can't stick a plan if you don't have one. Low MMR players don't have one, and thus tilt when things go wrong.

1st time watching a bsj vid unironically. I'm a 6k pos 4/2 player his patience in farming and waiting for creepwaves while blurred are impossible for me to even fathom cuz i wanna fight every minute.. Really educational and relaxing few dota players does a relaxing content.
PA Warlock is my favorite subtle combo. Overkill damage fully applies with fatal bonds so if you end up critting when creeps are low hp it still does heavy damage.

You can do anything to your teammates using their portrait :P quite useful when you have illu heroes like pl on your team and u wanna forcestaff or veil the real one amidst his illusions

Your movement, analyses and discipline from 27:25 - 30:19 is brilliant and is definitely something I need to work on when I feel like there is nothing to do at that moment
This is exactly what the community of Dota (incl. me ofc) needs more of - educational and thoroughly explained videos on different scenarios. Every game is different and one has to act accordingly to the (constant changing) parameters of the game. To you and a few other Dota content creators - thank you for your service 🙂

27:25 you can take your own outpost back without having one of their teir 2's (your team actually takes it back a few seconds later)
it doesnt matter, its not min 10 20 30 40, usually you take it on the last seconds to not let the enemy take it back in time

Just a suggestion- Kami probably has really high behavior score. Would be interesting if you do one of these with a bad behavior score account.

One of his smurf games was with a 2800 behavior score or something like that. MMR and behavior score were about the same :p

@@21minus1 and he is completely right. My games at legends are like this all the time. Either I have a smurf with a lvl 25 dota account in enemy team or my team. I lose games and don't know why, and I win games and don't know why.

@@m4chei hey I understand smurfs can make it difficult, but I recommend a few things. 1, try adding them to learn more. 2. Try observing what plays they make and why, so you can use it in future games, and 3. Make a habit every game to check profiles for possible smurfs, and if they appear to be. I'd focus shutting them down asap.
Ik they are annoying, but when you learn from them you can get out faster, rather than being defeated because they were in the game. No matter how many bans are done, smurfs are a part of dota, so we gotta adapt

It might be cool to estimate the win probability and how much confidence you have in your game in the early to midgame... Some kind of self evaluation before the actual fights and pushes happen

that sums up PA pretty well
Crit numbers are pre-armor reduction though; manta isn't that much lower than desolator for damage, but there's a big difference between a 1.5k crit and a 1.5k crit with -6 armor.
that's what happens when you are like 10k+ and 5+ levels ahead of everyone else in the game
its more because enemy heros didnt build armor, just look at everyone itembuild nobody thought of going ac against a PA that is purely phys damage...

I think something needs to be said about bf components. I feel like in some games its good to go for the perseverance stuff first, but in others its better to get the dmg ones. Like in lanes where they just don't do much damage or are very passive I would probably go dmg over ring. IDK just a thought. Love the video BSJ!
As a Guardian it feels weird knowing that smurfing still happens at this mmr.

You can actually use all allied targeted spells/items using the hero portrait as well! Very useful for stuff like oracle ult and other saves when your carry is an illusion hero like pl so that you don't accidentally misclick. It's also useful for casting glimmer, nightmare, etc. for an allied hero that's currently getting tiny tossed because the hero model is hard to click on.
It would be nice of you to say which carry would be best vs such lineup as well

playing on legend rank is amazing. every 2nd game you get completely stomped by a lvl25 dota account. and the next game you get carried by a lvl25 dota account. Smurfs everywhere, don't even know why i'm losing or winning.

Feels like NA 3k is much weaker than other regions 3k this silencer felt more like an 800 mmr
Probably the matchmaking algorithm. Since the warlock was making some pretty good moves for a 3k player. I kept an eye on him throughout the game and I was impressed. So yeah, probably to balance out the game.
"I'm gonna max out my blur, I dont think the other two talents are great early." Is already 4 into dagger and phantom strike. KEK
the 1st talent is dog crap tho, better to do 3 lvl in blur or max than pick the talents (the 500 range on strike is for aggressive plays so it depends on current items) for maximum defense

Completely ignoring the fact that the enemy team has literally 4 right click heroes, only 2 stuns total (one of those being a channeled stun with a several minute CD), and literally no catch for if you just blink away... top tier analysis from a 9k who didn't know you were able to capture your own outposts back.

BSJ, it seems like the creeps respond INSTANTLY when you A-click an enemy hero. For me, the only react when I'm a certain distance away. I often have to get to close and then they get right clicks on me. What's the difference?
You have to be a certain distance from the hero. (and the creeps, but the creep distance is far ish, just gotta be close enough to the hero)
@@Waxnell I've seen Topson definsively creep aggro top lane right clicking a hero midlane from top. It was in a recent BSJ video. How does that work?

You have to be in 500 range FROM THE CREEP for it to aggro, BSJ has a long video talking about creep aggro from the time he was in Gameleap, look it up if you are interested.
