You don't understand. she had a good gaming chair thats why she could fit 14 shotgun shells.
She had the perk "sleight of hand" she reloaded so quick you can't see it 😂
FIY, it's called fantasy... If a shotgun with fourteen shells upsets you in a film with time travelling robot assassins, then I don't think you are meant to watch movies...
What annoyed me the most is that it's established later in the movie that the REV9 can just fire out multiple goop blades anywhere from its body. It uses this to kill a group of guards that try to tackle it to the ground. Knowing this, its choice to use its arms for obvious slashing and stabbing is just really inefficient and contradicts what a cold logical machine would do in a melee fight.
Would using them all over his body not lead more weak spots in the nanos?
@@Skankhunt04 I mean all you have to do to perform that move is to tackle Grace to the ground and then fire your blades at her. T800 could survive but Grace wouldn't.
@@Skankhunt04 But weren't the Rev 9 sent there to KILL Dani? why would it matter for him to have a "weak spot" when those projectiles can kill Dani anyway.
This is a terrible complaint lmao
@@tonystarkunlimited7332 how so? It showed off two abilities effectively in the movie. Dividing itself and shooting goop blades at the military guys when they tackle him. So then at least use those moves effectively. Might give you an advantage.
T1000 abused his liquid metal effectively and got the better of his opponents and his evironment almost every single time. From opening elevator doors and hiding in the floor to mimicking a person and having sharp blades for hands.
T800 was a hunky metal man that could withstand heavy bullet gun fire and could engage in combats and take heavy damage and still survive and still give lethal damage.
The terminator in terminator 3 could turn its hands into any weapon it desired.
The terminators in Salvation also always got the better of the heroes in air dog fights and other combat. It even outdid them in effective combat intelligence.
So yes. Seeing this terminator fail every step just so that Dani, Grace, the old Linda Hamilton and Arnold could have one liners and epic scenes and moments is so terrible beyond belief.
Edit 2: An another example of effective terminators are the sentinels in X Men Days of Future Past. In the very beginning we're given how effective the sentinels are as they kill all our favourite heros in the distant future. It sets the tone for how our main protagonists must try and stop the creator.
So yes seeing this terminator is very useless.
Alot of the actors and actresses gave this film all they could. Especially Gabriel Luna. What a incredible performance by him. I'm pretty sure we just watch the sequels for the action more then anything else. Nothing will ever top the first 2 films.

From a random warning of a certain death anytime, anywhere in the previous series to the more precised warning in the latest one, this shows not only that the terminator series have evolved technologically but even this is relatable to our present live style.

I agree. The director did very well to make the fight scene raw and high tempo. No slow downs, no stupid cuts. Just pure action and tbh I liked Grace and her aggressiveness.
I liked that Rev-9 consistently tries to beeline towards his target when he can (or realises that he can), sometimes to his own detriment.

They dont realize that if the Rev had used his splitting ability right then and there..this freaking movie wouldnt have lasted past this fight...great writing.
hahaha LOL, its such a good point. To be fair in fact He could of split and the liquid could of been the Father look and the Skelaton could of been hiding someone nearby as a back up. So when Grace shoot the liquid the robot would come running it too. What would have been more fun I think is if they sent Grace back with two Arnold T800's and all three fight the Rev9 in this starting scene and one or even both T800's get destroyed by the Rev9. It clearly show just how powerful it was and could have been.
They should of made it more scary too. I feel a bit numb to the OVER-powered robots. I loved how scary the T800 was in T1 and how scary the T1000 was in the T2.
Not asking for jump scares but some dark scenes, perhaps give the Rev9 a bit more of a spooky feel. I think it would of been better if the Rev9 could intimidaite and scare its hosts more than just hunting them down. The T1000 was scary as it could pull off human emotions better than the T800 could. The Rev9 could of had a set of programmed emotions to help it hunt its targets better.
Sure, but using that logic no Terminator movie would exist. The bad terminator would kill their target in the first scene as they've always been stronger than the 'good' terminator.
Why would he draw attention to himself by using his splitting ability when this girl has no way to defend herself and no idea what's about to happen

Tú Đàm ngại chơi game có cốt truyện
I just want a movie about the war
Lí Thị Trà Bu your in luck they will never ever gonna make terminator sequel anymore
I honestly think they could've made this a good Terminator movie if not just a good movie.
Even though the Rev-9 is basically the T-800 meets T-1000, I think the concept of it being able to have 2 seperate forms is cool and creative. These films aren't necessarily short on creativity but they ARE short on tension and heart.
Terminator was a horror first, action second. Even T2 never lost its horror roots. These new films feel weightless. The actual machines are only just here to show a cool VFX thing and then get beat senselessly.
The next thing these films are misding is heart. T1 was basically a romance and T2 a family film but there conflicts come from slasher horror/scifi. These new films don't put any emphasis on any relationship dynamics. They barely focus on it.
Again, this Terminator film has lots of potential. Creative villain aesthetics, Sarah Connor, thematic opportunities (why the machines keep winning, JC's death, mostly female leads, etc. (imo this film should deal with grief and have the Rev-9 represent in a way the relentlessness of life and how we should could wrestling with it for own sakes and for those around us)).
Idk man. I really wanted to hope for this franchise again but they played out every potential avenue for this story and failed at ALL of them. Like they say, the franchise is ruined.
they already did everything rev9 did with the TX.
Makenzie Davis was the best thing about the whole film.
This film's fight scenes were totally outrageous but they were easily the most fun and 'cool' of any film that year.
You have very low taste.
It's a good thing Grace immediately understood that "Hey Lady!" meant to immediately let go of the Terminator and get out of the way of that crushing machine.
She has an unreal reaction regardlessly
Grace can see short term future and can calculate probabilities
She's like a cybernetic super soldier.
So stupid.
People just mindlessly consoom media today
On 1:53 you can small helix-like engravings on the rev-9’s blade. I love small details like that.
Gabriel is a very good actor. He acts like a robot. he doesn't move his gestures, he has no facial expression. I think the most successful role in the terminator series belongs to him.
Yep with the first
1:13 Funny how Grace recreated Terminator theme with gunshots
Honestly, I'd say this was the best fight in the movie. It really showed just how dangerous the fighting was in Grace's future considering how fast they're attacking and countering each other. You can tell they're moving much faster than normal people can, and it did a really good job showing the capabilities of both Grace and some of the abilities of the Rev-9. I just wish they'd have kept this kind of fight speed, even though I know the Terminator would have had no chance at the speeds they were moving since the T-800s are more designed to be power houses/tanks than be really fast. This one scene set up just how different and dangerous the new future is, especially once we find out that most people never survive longer than 30 seconds when fighting the Rev models.
Yeah and she shouldn't have survived this fight either if the Rev-9 didn't hold back to keep the plot going lmao
Disagree - unlike in Salvation or Genisys, every strike made by the machines is clearly meant to kill. I hated how the terminators in those movies would ignore targets or throw people
@@jamescollinge5043 Iunno, in at least some fights in Genisys it seems like they're similarly intentionally doing only killing strikes and trying to avoid the "throwing the target around" shit, while in other fights in the same movie they fall right into the "throwing target around" shit. It's weird.
It also highlights how horribly off the character physics are when the rev 9 jumps...
I don’t know about the t800 being out of its depth, it’s ability to learn and adapt is underestimated. For e.g the T1000 was very slick and may have been stronger than the Rev 9, yet the T800s ability to learn and adapt was evident in the entire movie.
It would be fair to say the T1000 had a very strong chance of defeating the rev 9.
The plane scene was great too it showed the durability of the T800 even though it was an older version and not maintained, but still had the ability to hold off the rev 9, long enough for them to escape. I think you’ll find the more modern the films the more power durability the T800 design is, like in genesis the arrival of the new T800 looked super powerful!!
I just realized, this is the T1 Technoir scene but without good music, lights, tension, logic and movie
Say what you want about the plot, but this movie has badass action scenes.

Um that's kinda what people want to see or else they would just watch the full movie. I don't think your mom worked on making you smart I'm sorry for that
@Bjorn the overly, excessively enslaved singaporean Naturally. There were also some great scenes for character in Dark Fate as well, like the group's conversation with Carl. I watched that one a few too many times. The scene at the drug store also added a great deal of humanization to Grace in my opinion. Her behavior during the action scenes like her yells, snarls, and how disheveled and out-of-breath she is in between engagements really sold me on her as a character. I just wished they did more with her relationship with Dani. She seems to have a tendency to idolize her to an excessive degree, like how she would kneel before her occasionally and going so far as to hide the truth from her for the majority of the film, as if present day Dani didn't initially live up to her expectations (a notion further reinforced when she yells at her for attacking the Rev-9 so recklessly). Perhaps that could've been explored more. I also really liked the Rev-9. A strength of Terminator Salvation that I think this movie really capitalized on was that with the exception of the T-800, the previous terminator models, especially the T-1000, had a sleek and clean aesthetic from both their appearance as humans (like a lean, neatly-combed policeman or a sharply-dressed lady with impeccable makeup) and as machines that made them uniquely inhuman. The Rev-9 takes a different aesthetic approach that makes it a fine addition to the franchise in my opinion. Its liquid metal looks distinctly greasy and filthy, and even the endoskeleton's darker shade makes it look more battle-hardened. The way in which the liquid metal slides against the endoskeleton reminds me of blood-vessels and muscle tendons, and its weapons look rusted and battered, unlike the flawless surfaces and luster of the T-1000. The fact that the Rev-9 also seems so much more human (whether it be its acting ability or its predatory stare) and that improved CGI technology allows it to move in truly astonishing ways really sells the concept of the Rev-9 as less of an unfeeling killer and more like a rabid animal, at least to me. Your thoughts on the characters?
@Bjorn the overly, excessively enslaved singaporean I feel that the Rev-9 is a nice antagonist for this film, considering the relatively lower power levels of Grace compared to a T-800 or T-850. While it may not be the most powerful Terminator, it wouldn't have made sense for me if Grace took on a model more powerful than the Rev-9, or the film's believability and grittiness may have suffered, something that really enhanced the scenes that it was a part of. The airplane battle, while visually stunning, did not possess the more grounded and personal nature of the factory, prison, and dam fights, and as a result, it lacked the impact of the other three in my opinion. I personally don't get the "feminist" take that many critics of the film have blasted it for, like the line about the importance of Dani's "womb" or the fact that she is the leader of the resistance, so I would appreciate it if you could explain it to me.

The "T" stands for Taco... Or Tortilla

0:23. Image how fast Grace shoots shotgun
Slam fire. Most pumps shotguns can do it. Hold the trigger down and just pump it, it will keep firing.
@@imcrazyforwar that’s why she can hold the gun without miss the target
@@johnsonjr8125 yup, just hold the trigger and run the pump. U can find videos of it on CZcams. Most shot guns can do that
@Marc Woolward most shotguns can do that. If not a cheap one it won't jam
@@imcrazyforwar doesn't explain why she shot 14 with a 7 shells max capacity, even with one chambered
To be honest... I enjoyed this movie, and I recognize and respect that not everyone did. In spite of that, James Cameron got the band back together, added some new elements, and pulled off some great action sequences. In the end, I'd rather see Arnold and Linda together again, then wonder what could have been.
That sledgehammer must have been made out of styrofoam.
If only Wonder Woman 1984 had an action sequence half this good. This is Wonder Woman.
1:13 changing fighting style to the Shao Khan one
In standard action film tradition, the Rev-9 could have killed grace easily at multiple points by forming stabbing weapons with random parts of it's body but choose not to do so.
Could have formed 8 limbs but somehow chooses not to.
This is like a boss with 9999 hp yet he attacks every like 30 seconds.
I didn't know that Arturo was a robot.
lol
suarez is also in this movie
Same, didn't know your mom was either :/
@@nicegood7544 who says 'ur mum' anymore. 9-13 Yr olds fortnite kids 😂
Arturito doesn't know when to stop.
Terminator: Dark Sh*thole. Why, James Cameron, why?
🤣🤣🤣
shut up its best movie of the world
@social Money??? It was a financial disaster
@@vasekbinar2897 LOL you really need to get out more....
He is old now 😵
Imagine if Grace didn't make it in time and the Rev completed it's mission and was just like "aight, job done, now what do I do for the next 50 years?"......
I'm gonna sell fruit at the market, raise a homeless kid, and probably give the cyborg girl some sense in her life by helping her hunt the ED-209s popping up in this timeline.
I like that this scene shows he can create firearms, yet decides to never use that ability again.
Took the gun from the guard.
@@alfe1402 Dude, the bag transformed in a gun. Stop lying
@@MshadowsenseoC No, he covered the gun with the liquid metal in the shape of a bag. It’s actually quite a genius trick.
Of course, the T-1000 didn't need to do that because he wore a cops uniform. That wouldn't look suspicious.
0:20 something you see in every terminator movie... **the Step N Shoot**
McKenzie Davis is the only worthy thing about the movie.
Her and Gabriel Luna is what the film should have been about.
What about Arnold?
*You're almost human...*
*When are you from?*
This movie sucks. Believing an “augmented” human could be anywhere near as powerful as a terminator is just stupid.
The final nail in the coffin of a franchise that died three sequels ago.
Bro upgraded her Shotgun skill tree💀
Dani: Who are you?
Grace: I'm the person saving you
Imagine how confused Dani must have been lol
1:31 - 👏👏👏
you know what? The fights in this movie are super cool.
That was a badass scene.
0:46 man, this is TERMINATOR, not a THING!!!
1:40 These goopy sound effects are so freakin' wacky. I feel like I'm watching The Thing.
Which thing the second 're make or the kurt Russel remake
@@t-7777 We don't talk about the 2011 movie.
@@harry426 yeah that movie is shit and shouldn't exist
I love how a terminator is never attacking the protector that was sent, it’s always going right for the kill and just trying to get the protector out of the way
It's a shame looking back on this as the action on display here is some of the best action in all the terminator films. And the concept of the humans enhancing themselves to be capable of breifly going toe to toe with terminators is cool
The film has a bunch of cool concepts that were either not properly explored or bogged down by the films greater issues
I'm just sad cause this film legitimately seemed like it had potential to be good if they simply chose to pay some respect to the universe its set in
That hammer sound hitting the head on the ground...give me chills...
Not going to lie. The idea of a futuristic machine welding weapons from a different time line and literally wields swords and is artistically able to fight with it..... Is fucking awesome.
The t1000 and rev 9 can go to to toe.
Except the movie would be over in 30 seconds with the t 1000
@@Gameferret16191 How? just curious
This film and genesis makes terminator 3 and 4 a masterpiece
This movie was ok but Mackenzie was amazing in it. Unlike a lot of others female actions stars i really believe she was capable of all the physical stuff in this movie because she almost looks like a machine herself. I wish she was in more movies like this.
In this scene we can learn how a bad work enviroment can result in devastating loses even for companies with solid infrastructure.
This fight scene is dope 🤩
Hay gente que lucha contra la obsolesencia programada, pero esto es otro nivel.
"That won't kill it.. but while it's incapacitated we better just run away instead of trying something else."
The Rev-9’s so badass!!!
REV-9 is like wolverine skeleton inhabited by venom
THAT...is a pretty accurate description.
When is clearly a cyborg killing machine but still your papi 😂🤦🏻♂️🤣
Great movie awesome direction and acting
