I haven't bought books in forever because I use my local library. Though recently I have been buying them like crazy because the libraries are closed!! Lol

My dog will snuggle with me for a long time and then move across the room and glare at me. I'm always like "what did I do!?"
Same 😂 but I have a border collie and he can’t sit still for more than a few minutes at a time unless he’s sleeping 😂
My french bulldog will lay with me for hours. It's the only way to stop running around. My cane corso on the other hand loves to lay next to me but keeps changing places. I woke up with his butt next to my face.

I am the same. Though anxiety like everything is different in everyone. My friend has anxiety really bad, and she just binged all the horror movies dealing with pandemics lols I can't though lol

Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to finally start reading more again. Ever since starting uni its become so hard for me to find the attention, time and endurance to do more reading. But since January I have read 10 books! - As much as I've read all 2019. That's a big deal for me, considering that reading was hard for me for such a long time. So thank you so much for being such an inspiring force and frankly, the only booktuber I really enjoy because you're a meme queen, relatable and honest. Have a nice quarantine girl x

I see that recently you have started to read manga so I’m going to recommend you an underground mangaka called Inio Asano. Hes very well known for his melancholic art style and depressing story’s and many junji Ito fans love his works. I highly recommend “good night punpun”. It’s a story about the life of this guy (who the readers see him as a bird character) and well that’s literally it just a story of the dark circle of life. A highly depressing read but really popular with manga fans. It’s 7 volumes long but if you want to read his one shots to get a feel for him then “ A girl on the shore” which is a story about teenage sexuality and the struggles that comes with it. I want to add that it’s 100% not an erotic story, he manages to turn one of life’s greatest pleasures into just straight up depression and confusion. Highly recommend

I want to read NEvernight, I actually just bought the 3rd book from Book Outlet and need to get the 1st one because I do read a lot of fantasy so I think I have a high likelihood of liking it.

I bought the first volume purely for the cover art and bright colors but stayed for the friendship and adventure and I promise if you continue to buy all 6 volumes they will look SO cool and beautiful together on your shelves✨ I now have the first volume of Saga and I’m so excited to get addicted again

Re: closed library, my local library uses the app Libby to distribute ebooks and audiobooks, I highly recommend.
The issue is certain library branches carry more books than others and my branch doesn’t have many books that I want to read on Libby 😔 but I’ve still read quite a few using that

i would highly recommend the bill hodges trilogy (mr. mercedes, finders keepers & end of watch) for your one stephen king book a month challenge thing. they aren't as paranormal as his other works and more of a cop vs. killer story. you get to see both sides and the killer is just an absolute psychopath. aaand they all had quite a good ending for stephen king books :)

Wow, I read Penpal YEARS ago. I remember liking the way it was written... but I should probably revisist it. And yay Junji Ito! Uzumaki is probably my favorite of his, but his short-stories are amazing too, simply love his art.
