Damn it's been 2 years since kat's last video

it took me so long to get over this book 😭😭 i cried all night the night i finished it and was super sad the whole day at school the next day.. i still can’t think about it without getting emotional and i read it 6 months ago.. the weird thing is none of the emotions hit me until like 10 minutes, after I read the book.. maybe it’s because I was processing it 😭 definitely a good read tho..

i finished it this week and thought it was overrated, call me cynical but i found jude intensely annoying. also how could someone who had such a devastating childhood become a top lawyer but while he’s being brilliant in court his personal life is an absolute mess and he can hardly function. it just didn’t make sense to me.

I'v never posted a comment ever. But today i'm gonna tell you how much i miss your videos. I want you to know what a special little comfort place your videos are. If you are not gonna start posting again, it's obviously your choice, but i just wanted to let you to know that i miss these videos so fucking much and that i hope you'r doing ok.

I thought the book was awful. Like, yeah, it's sad, I can understand why it made so many people cry so hard, but I don't think that automatically makes it a great book. It's just an almost comedically absurd amount of trauma dumped onto one guy and the ultimate message is that he was better off dead, which is a fucking awful message. I found the prose to be really weak and the story very repetitive as well.
