- I made these videos for a friend to give her an idea of who Steve and Ricky were. It's some of my favorite bits from Extras, The Office, interviews, XFM shows and podcasts. Watch one, two, or all three if you like.
Part 1: • Ricky Gervais and Step...
Part 3: • Ricky Gervais and Step... - Komedie
there has never been a greater comedic duo than Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant. Ive listened to their XFM days for half my life. and it's so heart warming to learn how HUGE the cult following is for those early years. Ricky has his laugh of course. along with his razor sharp and quick wit, mixed with funny impressions and intelligent blend of his love of nature and growing up mid class. and with Steve. he has also an extremely razor sharp and quick wit. on top of his obvious intellect, background with making fun of his unsuccessful love life early in his life. but also Steves best contribution is being the perfect balance for Rickys insanity. they balance eachother PERFECTLY. and Karl came along and offered the extra balance we didn't know we needed. these three are TREASURES
5:57 "Didn't stop him.." Stephen Merchant cracks me up sometimes
Steve quoting the Mr Dalliard sketch from memory is absolutely wonderful
I guess I can see why somebody wouldn't like it, but I could hear it everyday for the rest of my life and never get tired of it! It's so infectious. I can't not laugh when Ricky laughs, which is great because he laughs at everything, and now so do I... much to the annoyance of the other bus passengers.
I isolated many variations of Ricky's laugh from Xfm and the podcasts and made them bloody great ringtones. My daughter loves them.
I love his laugh. I adore everything he's done.
Ricky has pushed the boundaries with the Office and has never looked back since. He is a pure comedic genius and a brilliant actor.
Ahhh, Ricky's great. And has the best, most contagious laugh there's ever been.
I love Ricky's maniacal cackle-laugh. It gets me every time.
"It's just so..warm"
"what a t-shirt?"
Hahaha.
I love it. I had to get used to it and now I can't get it out of my head. I laugh everytime he laughs about something.
This is brilliant. Thanks!
0:24 - I just got out-englished
brilliant work
Haha..I loved the bird puns bit. That was hilarious. tell him that was egg-celent. haha. it looked fun.
LOL Karl's face was priceless!
2:03 when Ricky said that, my heart just sunk. Even though I know they're just joking.
HAHAHAHAHA
"Piece of plastic Bollucks"
Stephen Merchant is enchantingly amusing. I need a laugh, and he's giving it to me more than once. I smile so widely that my face glows! He's a tall drink of water, as well.
Where'd part 3 of 3 go?
And part 4...of 3!!!
Ah, sir is handsomely right to ask . The sketch in question is from Episode 3, Season 2 of A Bit of Fry and Laurie. If sir is in possession of Wikipedia, sir can be inclined to proceed to said destination, and find a link to the transcript on the 'List of A Bit of Fry and Laurie Episodes' page. The sketch is titled 'Jewelry". Sir would probably also be both wise and long fingered to search CZcams with the express purpose of finding the sketch in question.
0:10 only ricky can say 'fucken hell' and do that with his glasses and make it funny
Where did you get the Extras Ricky and Steve parts? Like the behind the scenes interview sections?
"piece of plastic bollocks!"
Stephen Merchant makes my Lady Bits tingle! I love a tall man, and he can't be funnier, because he goes to eleven.
Maybe we have different version of the Extras DVDs then. This is from season two and I think for every few episodes Ricky and Steve talked about what it was like making them. Most of the special features on my DVD consists of them doing this interview... I think.
rip bunny
Whenever I look at Steve I'm really confused on whether I think he's really unattractive and creepy-looking or extremely hot and absolutely charming. This "elongated Cheshire cat" has indeed something catlike and oddly sexual.
Iichu - yeah it's the first one. if he's ever attractive it's his sense of humour. physically he's objectively possibly the worst looking man that's ever lived. I mean seriously the worst ever lived, considering he got on the tv I mean it's unreal. I can't believe he got on the screen, but then again I can't belive Gervais plays leading men, he's also pretty fucking ugly, and he's like 5'5" and has such feminine features, really soft and he looks like an old lesbian.
wow, that... basically describes what I think when I see him too, but I didn't know how to put it into words, thank you!
Gervais has Julia Roberts' laugh times 20; it's contagious.
I'd love to know what Karl said at the end there to make Ricky laugh
i would so date ricky coz it would be non stop laughter.
aye especially when he drops his pants!
Ross Kemp was class in Extras
where's the third =]
Part 3 got taken down :(
9:19 lol
where is clip 1:32 to 1:40 from ?
I see it the other way around.
Sweet.
don't give me part 1/3 and 2/3 if u can't give me 3/3
where's part 1 baby 😘
Where's the interview with Karl from? I can't find it on CZcams.
search for the Ricky Gervais video podcast.
I have the same bin as them! :D
8:09 where/what is that?
i think it is the "haircut" sketh from fry and laurie
sir could not be more wrong if he tried! :):)
@gir489 A Fan then?
That was Les Dennis m8! lol
Watched what exactly?
In all honesty, David, I preferred the line "Chubby little loser".
Ricky Gervais may have the greatest laugh in the entire universe! Although i do suspect that if your his friend and had to hear it every day i guess it would get a tad annoying... lol
karl pilkington lmao
A.A.Enolbel
1DumBunny, you could write to Steven Merchant and offer to iron his shirts..
For yourself and the other person who watched this, I'll probably have it finished tonight.
@ChristopherDone CUSTAARRRD.
What?! That's absurd. People would hear him scream for help. If I've learned anything from movies it's that to kidnap somebody you need some kind of cellar or well to put them in where nobody will hear them. "Ricky rubs the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again!". The body stocking is a good idea, though.
That''s some weird editing right there
"Freak of a nerd"
"makes my lady bits tingle" is a BIT personal ??? Wow I can't imagine what a LOT personal would be then..on second thoughts I'd rather not think about it...anyway I was actually serious about the shirts, see @4.23 onwards..you'd probably get a lot further ironing than flirting..
NO Ricky is not the living proof that everyone can get succesful - Ricky gervais is very very smart...dont think Its just by chance he is famous and very succesful. Most people could not do What he has done. Steve is very bright as well but Gervaid is VERY very smart!
Ricky and Stephen are the most sincerely insincere, cynically idealistic guys i have ever laughed at - except perhaps, karl pilkington.
Perhaps you can spell his name Es Tee Pee H E EF EN, instead of "Steven", I could consider taking you seriously. Har har, DUH hahahaha, I read ya, Bro! Haters gotta hate, or it wouldn't be WRITE. Goody lucky, Amen.
god rickys laugh is so annoying sometimes
