Relics from the American Civil War.

Got out on New Years Eve and done a little metal detecting. Found some great civil war relics and a old coin with the Mine-lab Equinox 600.

Jeff, Thanks for your first video of the year. Is that the same construction site you and Seven have hunted before? Also, I am no kind of bullet person but I have a question about the carved 3 ringer starting at time 2:43. If the bottom ring had been carved off, would a minnie ball still have the full width hollow cavity at the bottom at the middle ring level as this bullet does. Isn't the cavity conical and becomes narrower toward the top end?

Yes!! John it is, If the bottom ring is cut off it's still a 58 until you get passed the top ring.
