- With a desire to live lightly and simply, Vina Lustado set out to design and build a tiny house for herself. Vina completed a 140 square foot off-the-grid house that has set a standard for style and environmental responsibility.
By enlisting local artists and craftsmen, Vina's Tiny House embraces the community spirit in Ojai, California. Vina's greatest hope is to create a tiny house community which addresses affordable housing and environmental impact.

Loved the design of this tiny house. The video was my first introduciton to the tiny house. I've debating buying a real house or buying a costume made tiny house. Really like the design of the featured tiny house. My favorite actually.

Oh my! I had looked and looked for another video on Vina's tiny house, and I gave up, thinking it must have been just that other channel with the only footage. I've been searching "Micro tiny houses" and have scrolled through hundreds to find this video. So exciting. Beautifully shot!!!

Where can I find a tiny house community in West Los Angeles? I'm done with huge rents! Eventually I want to leave Los Angeles so I want a house on wheels and have lots of questions.
l Its funny she mentions that spot for yoga practice. I am building one similar to this and was wondering if it would provide enough space for yoga practice.. however I am over 6' 1'' lol
If you watch the series Living Big in a Tiny House I keep noticing how the residents are much shorter than the host...
Curious about the out swing french doors. The hinges appear to be external, is that a safety/theft hazard?

Is it on wheels? I'm in CA, too, and I'm trying to specifically see CA videos so that the legal stuff and work-arounds are similar to mine... at least as far as the ones local and county laws don't affect.

I live in Ojai. I doubt even a tiny house is affordable to 99% of the population. I live in my ancestral home, bought long before housing prices skyrocketed.
