Here we go again!
Set in the 1960s during the Cold War, the game's single-player campaign follows CIA operative Alex Mason as he attempts to recall specific memories in order to locate a numbers station set to instruct Soviet sleeper agents to deploy chemical weapons across the United States. Locations featured in the game include Cuba, the Soviet Union, the United States, South Vietnam, China, Canada, and Laos.

Also, two things. After bo1 play bo2 because it is our main characters storyline. Black ops cold war is canon and a midquel between bo1 and bo2 that adds more to the characters, but it should be played after bo2 for spoiler reasons. And second, my zombies offer stands. I am your Nico remember 😅

Man I grew up with this game and only just realised Ice Cube voiced Bowman. Also speaking of Fidel surviving Bay of Pigs, doubles, etc. Fidel Castro died in 2016 and he survived hundreds of assassination attempts. More specifically, more than 600

Playing World at War, Black Ops 1 and 2 was one of the peak moments of my childhood and early teenager years. The hours I spent there was pure enjoyment and sometimes frustrating(due to losing and dying at online multiplayer) but I enjoyed it. It taught me a lot about history which I didn’t know about.
Sam Worthington did a magnificent job as Alex Mason, James Burns as well for Frank Woods and Ice Cube as Joseph Bowman.
Enjoy it because it will be one heck of a journey!
Also, when Reznov said up the stairs and you immediately saying where’s the stairs afterwards, I laugh and said follow the yellow arrow or follow where your fellow prisoners is heading.

On the main menu scream before you click campaign, if you look down and click the aim and shoot button at the same time repeatedly and quickly, a secret event will happen, the game doesn’t tell you this because it’s a secret. You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to which it’s fine, just saying that it’s something that many people aren’t aware of.

You're gonna love this game, the best game about the cold war with an absolute awesome cast Sam Worthington (Avatar), Ice Cube, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris etc. Just the best and the II one is even better. oh and btw this is the first cod game where the protagonist can talk

Secondly, it was funny at the end with the motorbike and you likening it to 'The Great Escape'. 😎 My thought just after this was that it was similar to the Arnie scene on the motorbike from 'Terminator2' 🏍, especially with the shotgun and the reload action!

Yeah, Bo1 is one of my favourite games in the series. For now I'll just list the talent involved, including Ed Harris as Hudson, Jace c burns as woods, Ice cube as bowman and my man Sam Worthington as Alex Mason. I know critics don't like him, but for me, he will always be Mason! Joining them also Gary oldman who reprises his role as Victor Reznov. How does this man can do a flawless Russian accent I have no idea. You should watch the clip from Graham Norton show about this role, it's hilarious.

Sam has very distinctive way of saying "you sonovabeech!". He says on Black Ops and the movie Avatar; that's how i figured it out.
Alex Mason is played by the main character in Avatar (Jake Sully) by Sam Worthington the movie with the blue people lmao.

Can't wait to watch this later! This is one of the best campaigns in video game history imo :) I was 8 when it came out so I didn't even play it until a couple years after but I would be a completely different person if I never played it

Finally the series I have been waiting for so long. Black Ops 1 is my all time favourite in Black Ops series.
Man, thinking about this game...I can't believe it came out 14 years ago. I was about 11, in grade 5 or grade 6 and this was all anyone at school could talk about. And the hype on the internet was insane. I remember IGN giving this game a hugher acore than Modern Warefare 2 had got the year before. And everyone was so obsessed with the zombies mode. World at war zombies was like a fun minigsme to most people, something fun to play after you had finished the campaign and you were bored of the multiplayer. Black ops zombies was like its own game to many of us. It was just funnto see the progression and how many gamers had grown to love the zombies mode.

Jonesy I imagine your next Black Ops game will be Black Ops II if I were you I'd play Black Ops Cold War after this, I know your playing all the classic ones right now. But Cold War is literally a direct sequel to what your playing now that's why Hudson is back, that's why Mason is back, etc

Oh shit, genuinely surprised to see this isn’t glitched right here. For alot of people doing a play through there is a lighting glitch at that elevator. Makes the characters too dark to make out. There’s one more mission that is like that.

Just a heads up, when you get to BO cold war friendly fire is not tolerated. It means mission fail and restart from beginning 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀♥️
The Cold War was one of proxies, threats and restraint. Nobody wanted a direct confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union, especially after the invention of nuclear weapons. Which is why the Korean and Vietnam wars happened.

I've watched so many people play this and somehow very few of them notice that the girl who's with Castro's double pulls out a shotgun after you kill him. They all just assume that Woods kills her for no reason, it's so weird.
Also yes, Bowman is voiced by Ice Cube lol
if its a first playthrough then things will be missed. Just one of those things, getting caught up in the drama 😊
After playing BO1, it's up to you if you want to do BO2 or Black Ops Cold War. Cold War takes place in between BO1 & 2, but don't worry about playing BO3 & 4.

Ah, Black Ops...a number of fond memories from the past, and Vorkuta is one of them. Such an epic mission, not just for the concept of breaking out of a Gulag, but doing so with Victor Reznov of all people!? His presence in the game took me by surprise back in the day, and was so good to fight along side everyone's favourite vengeful Russki, again. Also, the Minigun, riding a bike out with a lever-action shotgun? The end of the game's feels like a Schwarzenegger film.

A heads up Jonesy. There are some parts in this game that will play copyrighted music no matter what. So, you either have to mute the music or turn off it for that part but after that, you should be good. 😊❤️.
