Same here man or girl
Its heartwarming to see how happy Spear is to know Fang is still alive. She's all he has left. Without her he probably wont be able to survive. I like to believe Fang is what's keeping him from ending it all.
And to her, Spear is the only thing that she can remind herself about her children.
@@ethanshembvibar7020 That and Fang's babies might've reminded him of his kids especially when they started to play with him.
I’m thinking it goes both ways
It's a cartoon. Lol
he wouldn't survive lost of his Dino GF
This made me realize one thing. Spear loves companionship, it is evident with his family and he loves them very dearly to a point it made him suicidal, depressed and lonely. I don't think the same applies with Fang, because she's a strong willed gal. It's kind of sweet that they find refuge and comfort with each other despite their major differences between the two of them, because they share the same pain of losing their loved one's. What's sweet with this scene when he realized Fang is alive a wave of relief and happiness overcame him and he calms down and smiles for the first time after thinking his companion is dead. Spear doesn't consider Fang as a pet, but as a family.
I disagree on the point of Fang not having mutual desires. Remember the episode with the giant red bats? Fang, against her own anatomy, tried to climb a mountain to save Spear, and when climbing failed she figured out how to lure the bats to her by playing dead (Which holy shit, I know this is fictional, but that level of problem solving is astonishing for an animal like her, like borderline sentience level of intelligence), on top of that, when Fang managed to get inside the cave, she fought a spider several times her own size, ignoring her own sense of self-preservation and saved Spear. I don't think being strong willed is measured by how tolerant you are of loss and loneliness but what you are willing to do to ensure you hold on to the connections that keeps your life whole. Fang has proven that she would do anything to ensure Spear's safety, just as Spear had done in this episode. I believe Fang has the capacity for genuine empathy, and that was proven in the red bat episode but even more so at the end of this episode (referring to the scene when Spear returns to the shelter all cut up, and there were distinct expressions of shock and concern on Fang's face when she saw his injuries, she then proceeds to be so concerned that she tries to lift herself back up despite her leg still not fully healed.)
Human nature. We all want some sort of companion. That is why "adam" needed "eve"
The human mind is different in the way we value companionship and love. Certain animals have similar bonds but not all
@@swappedoutZ71 exactly which is why it’s so weird they chose a t-rex smh.. it make it so idk weird to me i legit have to turn off my brain when i’m watching this, cuz only way i could see this semi making sense is if spear raised fang from infancy that’s the only way or they encountered one another when she was very very young an not set in her reptilian ways…that sheer fact that that huge reptile doesn’t try to eat the guy is astonishing:
@@jayclearmen411 I mean Fang is obviously a very intelligent breed of Dinosaur. Maybe in this fictional world it's one of the many intelligent and undiscovered species that went extinct? We already saw that the much less intelligent but far bigger T-Rex's were praying on her children and at the time she couldn't stop them from killing her hatchlings even with Spear's help.
animals tend to be able to work through grief more easily than humans. our minds can be our own enemies in that regard.
I know Fang is pretty big, despite being rather small for a T-rex, but seeing her like this you feel so bad for her you just want to stay with her & nurse her back to health like what Spear did.
You speak the truth!
Is it me or did fang grow
@@TheEmoInkling1884 I think she might of grown she looks a bit bigger
In this episode she's in the size of a regular Tyranosaurus.
I would
1:59 PROTECT THAT SMILE
That smile can kill everything lol
Seeing them like this almost broke my heart. Spear lost his entire family and almost ended his life over it. He found a new family with Fang, and he almost lost her as well. It's also the first time we see him cry, making the scene even sadder and reinforces just how much he cares for Fang and how important she really is. His screams of anger also hit home, since what else can you do after everything you've been through, if everything was taken from you, and there was no one around to take your anger out on.
@Spear だ me too 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@Spear だ Spear and Fang can never ever DIE!!!!!
@Spear だ they are inseparable
And then when Fang wakes up, Spear just looks so happy she's alive. The only other time he's smiled like that was in the memory of his second child being born, it's just such genuine happiness.
I am living that life now, and all I want to do is scream at everything and everyone, because they don't understand the pain I'm in. Animals are perfect companions for tortured souls like me and Spear.
I loved Spear's emotions go from sadness to happiness where he felt like Fang is truly dead, but felt hope return when she opens her eyes.
Spear is glad she's oh okay yo and those birds eaters very hungry
Vultures. They're called vultures.
English isn't your first language I'm assuming?
1:26 *Begone ye winged rats!*
Habla en español xd
Thats not bird eaters there vultures
I kinda feel like Fang gave up, like Spear did when he lost his family. Animals accept death with grace, while men do not go gentle into the good night.
I think your onto something. The only thing that forced her up to fight again was spear being in danger as he was overwhelmed by the Dholes.
She may accept her own death with dignity, but she won’t let Spear get killed.
I didn’t get that sense at all. Her leg was broken, pretty sure she had bad internal damage, severe gashes and blood loss.
No. If she’d given up she’d have simply just died. But she didn’t. Despite the horrible pain, she stayed alive for her friend.
She was just quite literally immobilized, saving her energy for healing until she had the strength to stand.
@@RogueT-Rex8468 Same here. Fang doesn't want to die as long as Spear is alive. If she was really ready to die. She wouldn't have coughed up blood trying to get Spear's attention.
@@mee091000 that and she willingly opened her mouth to eat and drink. Spear didn’t have to coax or force feed. She did that on her own.
Nothing that gives up would do that.
A good movie quote is,
We Will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight, we’re going to survive we’re going to live on
Spear: “NOOOOO! She’s dead…”
Fang: “…I’m…not..dead…I’m just…in horrible pain…”
Everytime I look at those ape men bodies and those bloodstains on everything and everyone, i get flashbacks from ep.5...
...that epic, brutal night...
I haven’t watched this show yet but I have only one question. That night, was it bad? (Not bad like in quality, bad like in brutality)
@@AfroHayot yeah it was pretty bad. That dinosaur got a really bad beating and then the caveman basically became hulk and slaghtered everyone in that place overnight. So brutal yet so epic.
@@AfroHayot p.s.
sorry if that was a bit of spoiler. I would definitely recommend this show tho. It's one of the best TV series ever ! 🙌🙌 💙💙
@@ezekielybarra4190 Oh naw man you're fine. Thank you
Yeah seeing this episode brings me back memories of that total massacre
She lives
We didn't see Spear cry when his own family was killed. I love that this isn't like a gut and his dog kind of relationship. It's like a man and a woman, they're both sentient and equal to each other in this time period. Just trying to survive. I feel this broke Spear because he really lost everyone he ever loved. His wife and kids, and then his best friend.
Having experienced something similar, I can say he probably cried this time _because_ of losing his family. Finding a real companion and friend after such a heart breaking loss, only to lose them too, just twists the knife deeper. At least while they're around, they help take your mind off things and help you to move forward, but when they go too, you're left alone with _both_ losses
well he personally witness his family’s killers devour his family so his immediate reaction was rage.
Where as here, she is “dead” with no perpetrators to attack
@@fionnbarrcasey5247mainly because he killed all of the perpetrators already
Such an amazing show. We can feel so much for a caveman and his dino without a single word ever being spoken. Expressions and body language is all we have, and it conveys everything so well.
When I first watched Krog almost murder Fang I was shocked. I felt catharsis when Spear Goro’d him then went absolute Kratos on the rest of them. So seeing Fang was really ok and Plague of Madness was not like a Episode that took place before it, this made me really happy.
Oh my God....
YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Spear: * cried *
Fang: it's a PRANK!!
I cried when I thought she died and spear grieving over her. I broke into tears of joy after seeing she is alive.
This show is a rare underrated gem and I wish it gets more attention that it deserves
Spear: -gives a cry of sheer pain and heartbreaking anguish-
Fang: -w- Shut.... up...
Seriously, almost teared up at work over this
Thank God she's alive...
I love seeing Spear smile! :D
Me, too! ☺️ Like at 1:09, 1:49, and 2:00
@@brittanyc.4540 *that emoji wants me to do something bad to you.*
Oh merciful great spirit thank you.
*After watching Rage of the Ape-Men, and thinking Fang is dead*
Me: "No! Please Fang! Don't die now, you beautiful creature!!!"😢😭😭
*After watching **0:36*
Me: *gasp* Fang is alive! SHE LIVES!!! IT'S A MIRACLE!!!!!! OH PRAISE THE LORD!!!!😂😂😂😂 I knew she must have cheated death somehow, and this episode shows it.
I knew Fang was alive from the Plague of Madness episode, but it was still so emotional to see her alive and well, and Spear’s reaction.
I'm so glad that Fang is alive! 😄
Spear was so determined to get water for Fang that his first instinct was to drink it himself to see if it was safe. This man, with zero medical access, and no one to care for him should he get sick, drank suspicious water to see if it was safe for his beloved dinosaur friend.
That's devotion.
SHES ALIVE!!
At first, I really thought Fang was dead, but it is revealed that she is actually alive. I'm pretty sure that she was playing possum.
Didn’t you see Plague of Madness back in April?
Probably knew that was the only way she was going to survive play dead
I mean... she did get the ever living shit beat out of her...
Or she was just unconscious after getting beaten to within an inch of her life
More like she was unconscious from the absolutely brutal thrashing she got in episode five.
Thank goodness. You really scared us all big girl.
Fang had a nightmare about some crazy zombie dinosaur that nearly killed them.
And later on, that nightmare became real.
That’s the first time ever I saw Spear cry But I’m happy Fang is still alive💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
?
"I'm not dead yet."
Bro u make me cry I'm so glad fang is alive
This show is an emotional rollercoaster for sure
"You good man?"
"Yea...like...60 different broke bones and a concussion to end all headaches but...I'll pull through..."
"Bro we need to get you to the hospital."
"Bro what's a hospital?"
"Shid..."
Girls : Do you even get emotional? Do you even have a heart
Boys:
I feared for Fang's fate at the end of episode 5...breathed out a sigh of relief when she started moving again...Genndy definitely knows how to make you care about the main characters of his stories 🥰
Somebody lied to me and said that Fang died in the end. I was devastated. Now... here lies a grown ass Man....shedding tears over an animation. Despite all the darkness these two had to face, we need a glimpse of light. that in the end, the journey was worth it.
Yeeeqassssssss fangsssaa llliiveveeee
Yeeeeeeeeeees yeeeeeeeéeeeees
Fang: I live... I die... *I LIVE AGAIN!!!*
I like his smile
Edit 1: Spear, don't cry. Your smile is everything to me..
Water will make Fang feel better and clay to help heal her injuries
Mostly to stop more blood loss.
Hulk roar and Ironman wake up, what a scene ♥️🙌
Its so emotional. 🥺💘

COD Death from Above Mission, AC-130 Gunner Voice over: *Kshhht "Hot damn, seeing a lotta little pieces down there!"
Looks like the vultures have come to feed on all the carcasses of the ape-men
Just for the record we need more jokes of Vultures waiting around where a massacre is sure to happen. There should’ve been a shot vultures circling when it cut away from Spear’s massacre.
They had a second feast when the night feeder came to town as well
La amistad de estos dos me hace llorar😢💙
Him testing the water first to make sure it was safe tho 💕💕💕
What makes this even sadder is the fact it's the first time Spear cried, even after losing his family he never shed a tear, not once
Fang is the last of spears family💕that's how spear love fang
Spear learned to accept loss, Fang was gone. Fang adapted herself to the environment, because it affected her more. Both Good, both smart.
The look on spear's face at :36... so many words without actual speech
Something that’s also really cool is how Fang basically decided to tag along (and for the most part go alongside) with Spear even though she doesn’t know that his story is close to hers. She probably thinks he was just some guy that tried to help protect her younglings but doesn’t know that he lost his family too and in the same way. Just an amazing series, probably the best show around right now 🦖
Beautiful just absolutely beautiful touching heartwarming moment besides all the dead monkeys
I think Fang really saw how much Spear cares about her in this episode and now their bond is practically unbreakable. I really do feel like they'd die for each other.
Finaly a GOOD playlist
Omg fang has gotten so big over the years XD
They really played us like fools I knew that she wasn't really dead so soon just yet
0:52 me going to the eat some nuggets at 3 am
After we cried to sadness, our tears are for joy! We out more strong of a lost fight sometimes! 🤘🦖💪
Yeeeeesss she is aliveeeee
0:36
She's alive😄😆👏🦖
That expression on his face says when the T rex Groans says: There’s a chance to bring him back to life!
SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW!
Magnific 😲👏👏
No words. Just emotion
Ik this series is bloody but WHY IS IT SO EMOTIONAL WITH FANG AND SPEARS RELATIONSHIP
This is very heart warming
I cannot believe how addicted to this show I have become
A super underrated series
So happy last episode left on such a sad but real world ending
I haven’t even seen this show but just seeing* this scene almost made me cry.
Here we all see.. that one of man's primal instinct is companionship.
He protecc
He Attacc
But most importantly...
He have his Giant Dog's bacc
He nearly lost his best friend
1:49 "That's my girl"
That's what he'd say and wouldn't be wrong.
at last. we know she is alive
Cool
Something that i never wanted to see but still enjoyed
Me: NOOOOO FANGS DEAD?! 😭😭😭
Title: um actually ☝
Also me: ... Oh 😳
I think Neanderthals couldn’t cry, so I see this as some development for Spear :>
We don't know what type of human Spear is. For all we know, he could he a H.Sapian
yes GOOOOOOO
yes GO GO GO
I told you Fang was playing possum
Yeeeeees omg!!!!
Awesome animation
This is so heart warming
For some reason, Genndy Tartakovsky is able to make the best shows in my opinion. I started watching after coming across Samurai Jack, and here I am with Primal.
Samurai Jack was like a Father to me, and now Spear is like a child (Even though I'm a teen) But I thought that it would be hard, so it's kind of awkward typing this.
However, I can't wait to have a child and see him act like Spear, trying new things, doing new things, and doing the impossible.
Yass yssss dinoo
Omg Fang Alive!!!!!!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Primal is one of the best animated shows I've ever watched next to samurai jack. This scene was a tear jerker because it reminded me of the time when I had to put my dog to sleep 😢
And plus it’s better than Avatar The Last Airbender
This ep made me fucking cry 😭😭😭😭❤️
It's very emotional for us !
This made me cry
0:36 WHAT?! Am I supposed to believe after a whole long year this left us hanging?! We were scared & worried about this!!! Never mind “The Plague of Madness” from the month after the stupid Pandemic of a virus 🦠 came along, I’m talking about What happened after the fight with King Kong. Or should I say... King Krog? Before encountering the mad infected Sauropod. 0:36 Fang was all this time Unconscious but Alive. Now we finally see that all the puzzled pieces are put together. I wish they continued with this last year on November.
Just the fact that he probably was going to end himself properly this time
I swear to God when this episode came out I cried like a bitch. I don't get emotional from TV or entertainment, but holy crap man.... this fucking show...
Yesss
OMG IM SO GLAD HE IS ALIVE
Amigo me diste el día 😂
