Thank you Miss Fix It! One of my vents popped out of the brackets and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the surrounding piece off without removing the entire dash. Great vid!

Thanks for your help. I removed center console and carpet from a crashed 2014 for my 2014 Pursuit. Only one or two broken clips, would have been way more without your video.

Its really easy to do once you know where all the tabs are located. Just remember to use some elbow grease and a rigid plastic to pry, no metal
At first I wasn't sure, with everything already taken out. But I watched to the end and yes excellent job, it really is good to know what the 'target' to pry at is. I understand a trim stick c-4755 is good to use for prying. Thanks for your video.
Can you put a 2016 dodge challenger scat pack dashboard from a salvage car into a 2014 dodge challenger RT and have all the gauges work perfectly
Very informational. Be careful of your touch screen cuz its hard attached to the dashboard. I snapped it off and had to duck tape it back(such a pain in the butt). Honestly more of user error but careful.
You ROCK! I've got a Charger Pursuit model (the police version) so some items differ, but I did need some of this info. Should have done better searching. The car was a Chrysler demo car trying to sell them; never saw police service. I'm restoring it to "demo" condition and you are SO right about having to know where the tabs are! Pry the wrong spot in the wrong direction can be expensive and embarrassing!

There have been a lot of airbag related recalls over the past few years. I would check with your local dodge dealership for any open recalls on the vehicle before diy replacing something as important as the airbag.

So i just bought a 2013 Charger. I am trying to reconnect the AUX (it was a police vehicle) but under the original center console, where the gear shift it, there is a large piece of metal that I am not sure how to remove. Do you know how I can remove it? I have unscrewed 2 areas but can not find any more screws.
do you have a video disassembling the cup holders section?
+Erick3263 I did take apart the cupholder as well but I didnt record that portion. You will basically follow the same concept, pry the chrome accent portion out, take out the screws around the cupholder and pry that section out as well. Just be careful when removing the actual cupholder compartment, its easy to damage those clips.

I need to change my shifter assembly, which is held on by the bottom part of the center console which I CANNOT figure out how to get out and there are zero instructions on the internet about it. Help please.
Impressive, thanks for sharing the video! I was curious how all those were removed. I have a 2012 Charger and this will come in handy some day, I'm sure. I just went through this on my other car - a 2002 Monte Carlo. Unfortunately on the older vehicles, the bezels sometimes crumble or crack when removing due to age and sun/heat damage (like it did on my Monte). A climate control swap ends up with having to buy a new bezel.

Ok, so here’s what I’m up to. I have a 2010 challenger and i want to swap the dash with the 2015 plus model, minus the radio, airbags and speedometer. I’d also like to swap the center console along with the shifter. This would be a custom job, but in theory, without swapping the major electrical components - it should be possible. What’s your opinion?

I'd assume its built into the head unit that I pulled out of the center console, the section under the screen.
It is located on the driver side, inside the side panel, under the cluster. You will need to remove the vertical driver side panel and the panel under the cluster. The module is a rectangular box mounted vertically and looks silver/gray. There are two screws holding it in place.

Alice Williams if you’re talking about the side panels that are triangle type shapes. Those just pop out towards the doors. They’re just push pins.

Can you fit a 2016 challenger dash bezel on that or the 2016 charger dash bezel there kinda different so.
From what I have seen so far only the 2011-2014 are compatible. 2015 and up are different.

What is a left-hand driver side of the center console where your leg is leaning against called. It is hard to explain but that rubber piece of the side that goes over and down into the center console is popping up and I need to know how to fix that
If it is popping off due to a broken tab you have 2 options. Replace that panel or a cheap/quick option: use a hot glue gun to glue it into place.

Quick question: which wires coming out of radio are for AUX? I got 2013 dodge police, there is USB coming out, at center console , but no plug for AUX, trying to trace it back to Radio. I seem to have same wires at the back of radio: 1 black smooth (usb), (1) with many pins to cd/ac, and another small with 5 or so wires. Any ideas how can I make AUX work?

How can i remove my Cup holder? I kept my Credit card on Cup holder cover. while Opening the cover. It accidentally went under it. I believe that it fell under the cup holder. Mine is 2014 Charger
If it is not making any rattling sounds I would just leave it there and order a new credit card. The hassle of taking apart this area is not worth taking the chance of breaking the prongs.
How do you remove the AC Vent on the passenger side. all by itself?
I did not remove that vent but I would bet that you could easily get to it once you take the glove compartment out. If not, I'd guess its also held in by tabs.

The Dodge Charger was completely overhauled in 2011. It will not be compatible.

Yes, you can, there is no need to remove the head unit/radio. You will just need to remove the area around the shifter, then remove the area containing the lighter. At this point you can do what you need with the cigarette lighter.
does the 2014 dash kit work on the 2015 i have been looking everywhere and i am not getting an answer I dont want to buy it an have to return it
The wiring harness is the same but from what I have seen the dash kit is different. 2011-2014 all seem to be interchangeable and compatible but 2015 is where things changed a bit. If you look up 2014 dash kits on ebay and then select 2015 from within the listing, it states it is not compatible. You will need to purchase a kit specifically made for the 2015 model.

It is located in the driver's side footwell, right behind the trunk release switch.
