Another detailed install , I hit a pothole with my f250 and the Death Wobble dam near ripped the steering wheel out of my hands, I tried lowering my tire pressure but it still happens, I am gonna have to get this setup you installed. I did not know you could leave the stock stabilizer in place. Thanks for the video
Just my 2 cents but from everything I've seen if you have death wobble, putting a stabilizer on it is basically just a band aid. It won't actually fix the problem just make it not as bad. Need to get the problem taken care of first
I bought that set-up, took it to the diesel mechanic, he told me that it's the wrong kit, said that it's for a Dodge. So I sent it back and ordered Rough Country. After watching your video I see that it was the correct kit, exact same parts😫
I absolutely love your videos, you get straight to the point, with no bullshit. I just got my 2018 in November and you’re my go to for how-to videos. Keep it up! 👌
Hell yeah! I just bought a 2022 2 fiddy white xlt it’s identical to yours.. only has 30k on the odo and it rides like shit. Already had the original stabilizer replaced and made it a tad bit better but not the way a $50k truck should ride. This will be one of the first mods I do. Super excited! I appreciate your vids Colt! Your truck motivated me to buy one just like it, you were the buffer between buying an $80k plati or just a good old XLT that has the same (basic) features and same motor that’s just gonna eventually get scratched from hunting anyway! Thanks again brother!💪🏼
Thanks bud!!! I just got a 2001 ford F350 xlt and am looking forward to adding this to my rig maybe keep a wee bit of the wondering back and fourth going down the road to a bare minimum 🙏🏻✌🏻🤙🏻
The center bracket in the video (connected to the diff) is different than what is sold in the kit... the kit has u-bolts for the center bracket... how come?
As always, enjoyed the vid. Appreciate you taking the time to make these. Maybe Chad’s going to update us on his channel, but I’m interested to know y’all’s perspective on how well the stabilizer works and if it’s worth it or not. Realize, of course, it may take a few weeks of driving the truck to get a good feel for it. Thanks!
Was it to much leaving the oem position shock to? I heard that one needs to be removed when you put the dual set-up on. Curious so I can know to leave mine.
You need to do a review on stabilizer, curious to know the difference between stock aftermarket is it worth the money? Watched all your videos ,I wish we were neighbors. Bush🤤
you leave the factory stabilizer on or take off? I seen from another companies install video they mentioned to remove the factory one. What is your opinion on that?
I put the (Rough Country) set up on my factory 2017’ F-250 and the bracket that bolts to the front diff would bottom out on the drag link. Had to remove after it bent the link. Not sure why. Sure don’t like front end wobble on these trucks. Any info would help. Thanks,
@@COLTSWAY I had Ford replace mine 2017 F350 CCSB it was a recall and 107k no issues or wobble either. Keep making good videos. Your FORSCAN video helped me out for sure!
Been loving the vids colt. On that bracket between the 2 shocks you need to put a sticker saying colts way. LOL On the serious side, your buddy should have super duty or ford painted on it. Just a little personal touch.
Hey brother know this was a month ago but starting to have death wobble on my 2015 superduty. Have you ever experienced this or have any fixes. Did replace the trac bar.
I would look at caster shims. I know for 17 and up it really helps…maybe for yours as well. Any good shop that does level kits would know what degree to put them at. Also get a good dual stabilizer. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Did both directions, but didn’t make it in editing the video. Really don’t even gotta do that, you would know by looking if it was off bad. When you put the two bolts threw it, it is what it is. Unless you take it off and beat the hell out of it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Thanks for watching brother, I appreciate it. All links are in video description but here it is again. Dual steering stabilizer - amzn.to/3EfAvmZ 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
I’m a little late on a comments brother but let me start with that last video I watched of you out there camping. Great vid and love the aerial. As far as the steering stabilizer goes… Shouldn’t you be mentally stable before you attempt that? :-) Have a great day brother keep the vids coming.
Another awesome video but if Colt was doing it he would take that bushing and squeeze it in with his fingers he's got super duty power one badass some b**** love the video keep it up you still need to do a four wheel drive shop you're one smart sumbitch

Installing this (with bilsteins) on my dad's 2011 F250 this weekend, hoping it will eliminate the death wobble

Man I’ve had one on my truck since about 300 miles. I’ve never had one bit of steering trouble or death wobble. I’d say it’s worth it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Was it to much leaving the oem position shock to? I heard that one needs to be removed when you put the dual set-up on. Curious so I can know to leave mine.
Doesn’t the body of the shock go to the bracket? Or does it matter
Never busted open a beer.. half disappointed lol
What is the shock that's above what you installed?
Thanks for the video Colt. I like your way SHIT works.
You need to do a review on stabilizer, curious to know the difference between stock aftermarket is it worth the money? Watched all your videos ,I wish we were neighbors. Bush🤤
To. What bumpers are those. You mind sharing?
you leave the factory stabilizer on or take off? I seen from another companies install video they mentioned to remove the factory one. What is your opinion on that?
Just got this kit threw ur link! Ur the man
■■■...That mullet needs to be saluted, son...can I get a hell yea!!!...Buschhhhhh
Hell yea!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Hi, I like your content. Do you accept sponsored products?
So superlift and bds is the same thing?
Great video very helpful! What brand front bumper is that on that truck, it’s badass!?
Pretty straight forward…. What happened to the latte? 🤘🏽🇺🇸
They got drank! 😂
🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Great video, im new to trucks, whats the middle shock angled upward?
I put the (Rough Country) set up on my factory 2017’ F-250 and the bracket that bolts to the front diff would bottom out on the drag link. Had to remove after it bent the link.
Not sure why. Sure don’t like front end wobble on these trucks.
Any info would help. Thanks,
I knew I should have went with a dual steering stabilizer. Lol. There’s always next week!
You right about that!!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
What front bumper is on that truck?
I had to take mine back off cause the bracket was slamming against the cross member. What’s the fix for that
How well does these work? Is it worth the money? Huge difference?
I’ve had one on my truck since about 300 miles. That being said, I’ve never had death wobble. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY I had Ford replace mine 2017 F350 CCSB it was a recall and 107k no issues or wobble either. Keep making good videos. Your FORSCAN video helped me out for sure!
Who makes those bumpers? I have a 250 that’s the same color and those bumpers are awesome!
Another great video From The Man Colt!
Thanks Troy! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Can this be done on a stock 2019? Not ready to lift mine just yet. Love the videos.
Hell yea it can brother. ThTs the first upgrade I did when I got my truck! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY Thank you. Will be putting this on ASAP. Also thanks for the running board lights video. Mine turned out great.
Thanks for watching brother. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
So it looks like you’re running three fox shocks as steering stabilizers
How many Busch lattes was the job?
2.5 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Would cutting that compromise the seal?
Where the lattes be at?
Drank them all!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Colt's way!! Another good one!
Thank you my man!!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
You make it look so easy
You are the brains…..🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Thanks trapper! Yea that would be sweet! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Did you need an alignment after?
no busch or eagle
I know! My bad! 🇺🇸🦅🦅
I want to do that to my truck nice install.
Thanks Miles, you will love it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Excellent content bro.
My man! Appreciate that brother! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Was that even the right direction for that torpedo level? Should’ve been front to back not side 2 side? Maybe it’s the camera angle
Did both directions, but didn’t make it in editing the video. Really don’t even gotta do that, you would know by looking if it was off bad. When you put the two bolts threw it, it is what it is. Unless you take it off and beat the hell out of it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY thanks for the reply. Keep rocking that hair. Also. Is this product available in Canada? Thanks
Amazon ships to Canada I believe…..I put a link to it in video description. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

what type of mileage with that 3.31 gear with the 6.6 Diesel.
6.7 Diesel.
do you tighten everything by hand or the gun?
Hit it with the gun. Unless it’s real small or precise then I use my hand. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Great video, death wobble doesn’t stand a chance with three stabilizers on it.
Damn right it don’t!! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
He always has parts left over, he don't know why exactly😉😁
I’ll just keep ‘em as spares! 😂
🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Tell me what I gain from this? I’m about to go do some research
Well I’ve had one on my truck since about 300 miles, I’ve never once had a steering issue or death wobble….🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

This setup does nothing to improve ride. Radial pull: yes. Ride: NO.
Don’t remember ever saying it helps ride?

I have a question does adding the steering stabilizer shock Stiffen the steering wheel?
Not in my experience. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
