1:10 To be fair, PvP, Chromia's design in the _Cyberverse_ series was indeed inspired by her appearance in the IDW comics, which was itself inspired by G1 Chromia's Thrilling 30 figure.
Plus, since Chromia was Windblade's friend in Cyberverse, the two would go well together, and rightfully so since I missed out on Legacy Evolution Animated Prowl.

AS I LOVE THE LEGACY PROWL MOLD, it fits quite well on Chromia, it's an interesting experiment. If only the box didn't say "Cyberverse Universe", I'll still buy it

I want this Chromia figure, and a part of me only listed it as Cyberverse Chromia since that is the most recent interpretation of Chromia. So they added for recognition purposes. If anything this is basically a Legacy Universe Chromia. Or an amalgam design for Chromia, much like how Lockdown and Shadowstriker are, pulling DNA from other designs, as this could easily have been a MovieVerse universe Chromia, given how she was a Motorcycle in Revenge of the Fallen. So there's that

Epic review PrimeVsPrime!! I looked at the other G1/IDW Chromia figures in my collection, which are the T30 and Siege Chromia figures, and I have noticed a pattern of Chromia getting a figure once every 5 years, and the figure is a repaint/retool of an existing mold. lol Keep on being amazing.

I hope the DNA Deisgn is gonna make an upgrade kit, which is gonna make her look more like from Cyberverse. They don't need to make much, the only thing I would change is to find a way for the wheels to be on her shoulders just like in the show, and maybe a new cockpit piece for the vehicle mode.

A unique looking Chromia, but not Cyberverse Chromia. Would have designated her as Animated Universe Chromia, to be a cyberninja partner for Prowl. Or for my collection, have her replace Arcee in the Prime Universe, to better fit the blue fembot role of the Autobot cast.
Dang... if those shoulder joints had kept the same periwinkle color of her hips and biceps, this would be a perfect figure. That harsh neon blue is an eyesore.

If they HAD to use a pre-existing mold, you know who would have been better than this? Bumblebee Arcee's mold. Every single part of her would have needed remolding to look like Cyberverse Chromia, but that thing's end result in transformation is the closest any pre-existing figure in the past few years is ever gonna be to Chromia's Cyberverse alt mode.
If they were going to do a quick repaint for Cyberverse Chromia then Legacy Prime Arcee would have been the more fitting mould.
That's just how it is.

I only own it because it got repainted into G2 Jazz (Lazercycle) and, I'm a sucker for Jazz - especially a rare/unreleased version of a Jazz
Tbh, this mold was the better choice for Chromia. Even tho shes not the best for CV Chromia specifically, shes good for Chromia in general. I definitely want to get her.
I don't collect animated (too much chin 😅) so I'm glad we got a repaint of the figure, even if it isn't the most original, still a solid design.
I do like her, especially since she is a Stealth homage to the Canceled Heavy Metal mobile game design for Chromia.
I wish Transformer games did not get canceled so much. Last Real.game was Devastation, which was YEARS Ago.
I did just see a render for that design & yes you’re absolutely right! She does look very accurate to that!
But, the CHIN!?!? Its part of the Animated STYLE!! & honestly, the chins aren't even that prominent (?) as you may think, especially for most characters. Btw, have you watched Animated? If you haven't then you're sorely missing out. Animated is one of the best TF shows ever. The Holy Quartet (??)....Quadrinity(??) of TF shows are G1, BW, TFA, & TFP. Ofc, CV & ES (EarthSpark) are also good. Highly recommend all of these if you've never watched them.
@fennekin1750 I watched it all once, do not care for the style or the lore changes. No interest to rewatch it. Which is more than I can say for Energon or Earthspark(speakers reasons)
New characters like Lugnut and Lockdown are welcome additions, though. Weird Al's Wreck Gar is excellent.

Twitch is cute & great, Thrash is great (hope he gets more attention in S2), Hashtag is adorable, Jawbreaker's good, & Nighshade is adorable, precious birdyboi (love them). ES does NOT deserve the controversy NOR the hate. Give ES a chance. ES is not the best TF show ever, but for what it is, it is truly a good show.
& TFA is perfect. No flaws for miles. It does have flaws, but barely any. They're really unnoticeable. You'll have to _really_ look for them. & the styling is great. I'd gladly DIE for TFA Bumblebee, Prowl, Bulkhead, Optimus, Sari, & everyone! The characterization of the characters is great. The new characters are good, at least you can recognize that.
Haven't watched Energon & probably never will, so I can't say anything abt it.
@fennekin1750 Earthspark is repulsive, the controversy of grooming propaganda is well earned. Perhaps parts in a vacuum would be tolerable in a mediocre show. But the ointment is quite well tainted. Children deserve better than a series that has ideology Sweet Baby inc'd into it.
Nightshade, is a pitiable character. His entire existence is for promoting the nobsense of identity politics, and he will forever be marred with the stain of being a prop, a soapbox, a martyr for a wicked cause.
Energon is incoherent in its writing, but at least it does not try to brainwash children with evil and harmful psychosis.
Agree with everything you said and the problem with Legacy is that in trying to please everyone, Hasbro more often than not misses the mark. Sure you do have some bangers but ngl I havent been really impressed with quite a lot of legacy figures. I find the idea of G1 iying various characters interesting but that concept only works if you redesign them only if you truly understand the characters

I’m getting this. We needed a better Chromia toy for so long. Now yes they should’ve just said it’s a Chromia and not a Cyberverse one but I’ll take it still. At least it’s a good toy. Only complaint is that there’s no new gun and I’ve never been a fan of the shurikens
I was so excited when they announced her, but so disappointed that she's and Earth bike! I was really wanting that 'TRON' look from Cyberverse. I'll get her, and start designing a canopy to 3D print!
Honestly coming from a "man that toy looks cool" collectors standpoint it's a fantastic figure! I'm not big on the different series, just toys that look nice

Because the articulation looks super good, I might be tempted to get her. Same feeling as Tarn, I don't know a lot about this figure but the toy looks fun to play and mess around with.
When I first saw the leaked images I thought it was just a lame repaint, but looking at it more now, I like it more. But I do wish it was a new mold.

Since I'm keeping all my original Animated figures (got them all as they came out mostly) I won't be getting any repeated characters in this Legacy line but a new character like this one done in the same style would be a welcome addition to the display, it doesn't matter that she wasn't in the show, neither were a bunch of the figures released in the Animated toy line.

I think the Studio Series Bumblebee movie Arcee would've been a better mold to redeco into Cyberverse Chromia just looking at the vehicle mode.

Really nice mold. Honestly I believe this mold should be used to make a Legacy Armada Sideways. A character with a motorcycle altmode and bot mode has similar proportions to this mold. just needs a retool to the head sculpt to include the minicon heads. Easy repaint and retool and add a very important character from Armada to the legacy Line.
She still wouldn't be slender enough, but you're very right that this mold would have suited Prime Arcee way better than what they went with.

I finally got my hands on the figure which I wanted for an ETERNITY! I finally got the original 2007 Blackout, I know this guy is kinda outdated, but I always wanted to have him in my collection! And he was in a very good condition and for a cheap price, so I just couldn't resist!

What i want from hasbro to do for the dinobots is the first 4 of them will be a deluxe class which is slug snarl swoop and sludge and the voyager class will be grimlock what do you think?
7:41 the funny thing about Shadow Striker is that she's a hybrid of both Cyberverse and the original Universe 2003 Shadow Striker, the latter being a redeco/retool of Side Burn (which i didn't mind; if she was Universe '03 'Striker, i could excuse it more, and its a mold i like so far)
Shadow striker has like the most poseable legs on a deluxe ever she defeats all her own shortcomings by just being rlly cool
Like Kingdom Arcee this will sit on shelves for a long while, but in order to get there they must first get the Allspark figures off those shelves. This is proving very difficult, at least in my area. I've barely seen any of the figures from the last few waves due to this.

I know there's no basis for it, but I would love to see this mold reused for a Bumblebee
something about it just feels like it would work for him, also Bumblebee should be a motorcycle more often, what with him typically being "the little guy" of the Autobots
I got the Legacy Elita-1, but unfortunately, I had to return her because she had a big paint scratch on the bumper of her vehicle, so. ... this sucks.
I hope to get all the Legacy Animated figs one day.

I don't really want that. I never played the games, but going by both designs & not the OG toys, Jazz & Swipe look very different. Jazz should be a new mold. Also, SSGE Swipe is the best SSGE figure hands down.

As much as the Legacy Prime Arcee figure is hated on… I think that would have been a slightly better mold for Cyberverse Chromia even if it’s been reused 100 times already. But this one isn’t bad I suppose. They definitely should have retooled her more than just the chest and head sculpt. It’s just the torso and arms I think that ruins this figure for me
I’m so glad they never used that. To be honest I think the Bumblebee Arcee would’ve been pretty decent for a Cyberverse Chromia

Chromia is literally one of my favorite characters and it is extremely upsetting that she always gets the shaft when it comes to her alt mode seriously she has an amazing alt mode and I hate that Hasbro just up and forgets about it like why even give her an amazing alt mode if there never going to use it on her figures
It’s a neat design. As a *Cyberverse* Chromia, it’s not the greatest, but as a Chromia in general, it fits the bill. Just like how Legacy Bulkhead doesn’t look like Prime Bulkhead, but still has the vibes of a general Bulkhead.

I think if they took the Legacy Prime Universe Arcee and retooled it to more resemble the Thrilling 30 Chromia, that would've worked well.

I was disappointed when it was just a prowl repaint but then again thrilling 30 has a huge backpack and kind of sucks and siege is even worse so all in all I'm soo hyped to just have a chromia thats a good mould
Till today my only definitive chromia probably the thrilling 30 IDW chromia, but i'll take this one as the earth mode
I do hope that we see more ueses of this mold, in fact I think everyone who was done using the LegArcee mold should be redone with this one, specifically Flamewar
