Cool,thanks shannon was debatting on cleaning carbs my ski has an unusal problem.its an older model 94 yamaha vxr 650 double.when i make left hand sharp turns it stumbles n stalls out,no issue straight or right turns.i thought maybe issue with tank pickup because rubber floats on stems are deteriated to old to even mess with.dont know maybe could retrofit a new pump into it somehow cant find parts online much.snooky pa.
You never want to take apart and clean your carburetors that you want to always rebuild them then you want to check your pop off pressure make sure you have no air leaks and they are holding the correct pressure once you get that done you want to go ahead and pressure up your entire fuel system to make sure it is holding 5 to 7 lb these will all cause you trouble and I have videos on all of these things I have been working on two stroke jet skis for over 20 years
