When you use another language as a basic language, the application does mistakes. My native language is French and I found so many mistakes, so I have to use English as a basic language on this app to learn other languages.

I am sold! I'm currently learning French (lifelong learning to become fluent). But I'm traveling to Italy and would love to say a few phrases and try to speak Italian. If you wrote this comment yourself, you're pretty much already there. Maybe a little work on prepositions & word order but apart from that, absolutely fine.
