I completely understand why some people don't like Legacy since it doesn't have quite the writing quality or the sense of intrigue... but to say it was bad or boring is just a disservice to it. This is, as several others have said, an under rated movie. The "sci fi" elements were the weakest part for me, but this scene was great. I really loved that the assassins really did look like regular people, but once the fight starts, they totally feel like a real threat to the protagonists, like when the woman has been shot and she's NOT impervious to pain, but it jsut really f**king tough. I also love that they have clearly done this before and they are practicsed at faking the suicide. These aren't just hired muscle, they are as dangerous as Jason Bourne or Aaron Cross.

Every time I read about a person committing suicide right before they go public with info/testimony, I think of this scene and a similar one from the movie Shooter. These scenes are based off of real life techniques that governments use (ex: CIA has admitted in congressional hearings and leaked/declassified documents to the use of assassination techniques like this and many others, such as the heart-attack-gun, but obviously emphasize that it is only used in foreign countries). I always wonder how many other people think of this scene when reading about things like whitewater, the Lumumba assasination, etc, and if it is as disturbing for them as it is for me knowing that the technique being depicted may not be as fictional as we truly realize.

'The Bourne Legacy' was a pretty great movie for the most part, with an excellent cast and some really rewatchable action sequences. I must've seen the entire film about three or four times now, and the only thing that bothers me is the sudden and deeply unsatisfying ending - like they either ran out of ideas or they ran out of budget. Pity. But that still places this installment in the franchise way ahead of the 2016 'Jason Bourne', which I found utterly forgettable.

It kind of takes the fun out of it. We project ourselves onto the protagonists and so we want our characters like Jason Bourne to be highly skilled, creative and outwit the bad guys even though they have fewer resources or adverse circumstances. In this movie, the protagonist has these amazing brain steroid drugs so he's less relatable and his skills feel unearned

Most of the white women you've known are "cold-blooded"? Or most of the white women in federal intel agencies?

I agreed with the first part - so cold blooded... but the second part???! I'm a white woman myself!🤔 So is Marta/Rachel Weist. Get out more, meet more white people and stop being racist😮

When It came to Bourne Movies this was nothing new. It really was the start of the decline of originality in hollywood. They could have done anything and they chose to parralelle the first bourn movie? Come on

The female agent is the purist portrayal I've ever come across of both females and agents.
