I so enjoy riding around with you because I'm pretty much homebound. Can't see well enough to drive safely anymore and I really don't have anyone who would go for a country ride with me. It does my heart good to have found you here on CZcams. Thank You I truly appreciate the ride and your banter.
Yes I agree and a couple of us ride along and have a few brewski's on the way. Sometimes we have to make a pit stop. But it is always fun , especially when we camp out overnight in extreme cold and cook 👍
4 people are missing in Nova Scotia from flooding due to a massive thunderstorm. It's washed out many roads and bridges. In the last month we've gone from wildfires to floods. I'm glad you've applied for your passport, we would really appreciate a visit from Post10 ❤ Stay safe.
It's 10pm in the southwest UK and is peeing down, feels like autumn already! I'd rather have it like that than the temperature they have in Europe at the moment. Quilt up to my chin, watching a Post vlog: what could be better, keep on vlogging!
@@stormclearer I was not affected, but other people lost their properties, many animals were burned and many areas of forest were lost from the forest fires. I live in the center of Athens, so we don't have these problems. Unfortunately, forest fires are increasing over the years. all the mountains (forests) around the Attica basin are burnt, so there is a great risk of flooding. Thanks for your interest. Stay safe !
@@Christos_G7 At least your ok, it's sad for the loss of life, property and nature due to these wildfires. Last year in the UK we had 29000 wildfires and 1 burnt about 20pft away from our house

Nice! Love seeing all the spillways flowing. They usually open the spillway gates every spring after a big storm at the lake near me. Its crazy how fast that water is moving.
The big storm yesterday (Friday 21 July 2023 at approx. 5pm) in S Central NH and N Central MA was pretty intense. DW Highway in S Nashua was hard hit because the storm stalled and intensified directly over the US-3 corridor. The entrance to the Market Basket parking lot was completely impassible due to about half a meter of storm water that had become trapped by a series of clogged storm drains. I would have cleared them if DW Highway was an actual road or actual street, but because it is a stroad I left it to the DOT and the Nashua Police Department.
I love how on the 17th i was debating doing this exact drive to check out the lakes and Dams. But I didn’t have enough time sadly but I’m so glad post made the drive for me the day after! ❤ You're the best man!
Just north of some of my Family in Bloomfield. I really like it when you tell the locations as you are driving the main roads. I fully understand you not giving the locations of the logging roads. Might need to start giving us the miles on your truck. Probably already 10k to 15k.
Always a fun time. Somehow I didn't even realize this was a 45+ min video until the footage started speeding up there at the end 🤣🤣 Nice job and thank you.
The wildfire smoke even reached the Netherlands here about three weeks ago, but it stayed high up in the atmosphere so we could not smell it but we did get some hazy orange sunsets.
Bit late to the party with this comment, but I was up there fly-fishing when the water was this high, the dam at 1st Conn lake usually runs at like 150-200cfs and it was up to around 500cfs from all the rain! Pretty nuts, made for a really cool fishing experience 😅
This is the good thing about El Niño. You get the rain and after those horrible droughts nationwide we needed this. Now as for heat....that is the downside.
Great video. In the ending shot, that's Northumberland NH. So interesting fact, the mountain behind that plaza was once upon a time, a volcano 🌋! Now I grew up near there, not sure if it was some old head telling stories, but I always remembered that.
Post, I will say it again. You are Awesome at backing up and over half a mile this time! Gas is a little cheaper when I got it on 7/19. It was $3.29 thanks to 10 cents off from Kroger points. (Indiana) Gas station like that looks weird with just two pumps and a ton of space. I am use to more pumps and a convenience store at a gas station.😊 Your vlogs like this one are Great!
Yum. I love plastic in my drinking water. So delish. And it's a renewable resource because it's made of petroleum which has no limit. So if you like low carb plastic give 2 thumbs up for using is as culvert pipe.
That wildfire smoke is coming from western canada! Most the fires in Québec are out now because we also had all of that rain! It is crazy how far it travels

I think Vermont got 12 inches of rain in 24 hours. It’s amazing that we all fit in your truck on these drives. 😂 Carrying a staple gun to post warning tape or signs.
I smelled smoke last night here and then the news station here told me about the 2 fires going on. About 1,000 acres apeace. Those Canadian fires really suck. They hate them. too. Lotta beetle kill in the pine forests here in Montana I've seen.
Had to look up where you were on the map,You're way up there! I'd love to know more about the truck you bought and it's extended fuel tank you had made for it.
14:25 Some carwashes have popped up recently where you can pay like $20/month for unlimited washes. You can wash it everyday if you're nearby. Can't beat that. See if you have one in town.
@@post10Vlogs You might be right. We have couple monthly ones near me in NE Ohio, but only the touchless 'laser wash' kind. The new places I see popping up are hybrid with the all the brushes and the laser wash together, they have a couple guys there to clean your wheels/wells by hand and set you up on the rails that pull you through. Also have a self-service detailing area with fresh rags, cleaners, polish, vacuum, all included for free. $10 a wash or $20-30 a month. But like you said, they were more populated areas. Wish we had those here lol.
Yep, I like these "vlog" vids; I play them while I'm working in the shop. I can hear everything, of course, and it's not critical if I don't LOOK at every bit of it.
Regarding flash boards at 2nd Lake. Typically, they are designed to fail (break) if the water level reaches a certain height to protect the remainder of the dam from over topping. Don't know if that is the case here but possible.
I come from Australia, in those parts of the USA, how do people not have fences around thier properties? Like how do they keep dogs contained to thier yard? And here we have privacy between homes too, there its just so open... Anyone could walk up to the house n look in the windows etc, steal things?
We could make a silhouette out of a photo of you crouched over a little, digging with a rake. See how I did my logo here? That silhouette started out as a photograph of my husband throwing a bullwhip. I can see it in my head right now, It'd be really cool!
I'm really curious if those particular beavers finally got smart and tired of having to clog the same pipes over and over, or if the maintenance people really put a 'fence thing' there..
Is there anything that can be sprayed to adhere to the bottom of culvert pipes to protect them once they have started to wear, but before they are worn thru? if so, Is that cheaper than replacing the culvert if they catch it in time?
Did you know that if you turn your steering wheel on the direction you want to go before you put it in drive or reverse, you won't have to do so many five and seven point turns. Try it.
It's almost impossible to keep my car clean working on these roads all the time but at least once a year I paint the entire frame because these roads are like sandblasting as the wheels are throwing stones
All your videos are very interesting because you are an interesting person 👍 lots of people like to watch me too doing something as simple as walking around the garden showing my animals.❤️💛💚
You use 4 wheel drive as intended. You may be able to get though places like that water crossing in 2h drive but you may need to be rougher on your truck . 4 wheel drive in places like that allow you to take it easier. That is how I was taught to use 4 wheel drive. Just because I can do it in 2 wheel drive, no shame using 4 wheel drive to be easier on the truck.
As a matter of interest, how much for 42 gallons? If I top up with 42 litres (tank takes about 53 litres) it costs the equivalent of $77 and I wonder how that compares?
