Thank you Post 10. This is a wonderfully soothing and delightful video ❤ I don't drive and I live in dry, hot Southwestern US. I do love the rain, and I could watch and listen to you driving through the beautiful green countryside in the rain for hours!

Post, we deal with the Texas heat by loving our air conditioners, finding activities that are either indoor or playing in the water. Of course our lakes are murky...nothing like the clear lakes of New England. Plus, we have alot of venomous snakes lurking around our lakes. I would rather be in Maine in the summer...well after the blackflies ease up. lol

Welcome to Maine, the way life shouldn't be. We've had over 6 weeks of almost constant rain. Coming down so hard sometimes, I can't see 20' outside my windows.

That is my kind of weather. Where I am now the high was 90 today with heat index up to 105 or something crazy like that. I love the rain, and driving in the rain. Haha, accelerating rapidly in neutral. I've done that. I also drive on or to the right of the white line to avoid road problems. Your new truck is awesome. Enjoyed this video.
I’m a firm believer in vehicle blinkers. People annoy me so bad with that. Really liked seeing all the flags in that town. Amazing there were no cones on the washed out road.
As you were driving down the road I saw some similarities to my home state of Wisconsin. Red barns, silos, hay fields, a couple of taverns Lol. Also rivers and lakes however I didn't see any Holstein cows out on pasture, but I may have missed seeing them. 🐄

I live in Nashville, and it is currently 90 degrees at 2:20 p.m. Yesterday morning (around 4 a.m.) the temperature was about the same and my air conditioning wasn't working. The temperature in my house got up around 85 degrees. I was too miserable to sleep so I got up and opened a window because it was a little bit cooler outside than it was inside and I had a fan turned on me. I decided that if I got too miserable, I would just go out and sit in my car which would have been cooler than my house. I managed to get some sleep without having to go to my car and the guy came out the next day and fixed my AC before noon so before the heat of the day. I am amazed at how spoiled I have become. When I was a child, I never had any air conditioning, not in my dad's car and not in our house. We would fan ourselves so we would be comfortable enough that we could get to sleep but it never occurred to any of us to complain about the heat because no one I knew had air conditioning and very few businesses had air conditioning either. BTW, our school was not air conditioned either so for a couple of months at the beginning and ending of the school year we were pretty unhappy campers. When I say we would fan ourselves, I mean with a fan we made out of a sheet of paper or a piece of cardboard because we didn't even own an electric fan. I cannot imagine trying to make it through temperatures close to a hundred degrees with no central air and yet when I was a child that is exactly what we did. Thank you for this rainy-day drive. When I saw that this video was an hour long I immediately knew I wouldn't watch the entire thing but I thought I would watch at least 10 or 15 minutes of it. Here we are at 57 minutes, and I'm still here so thank you very much for this enjoyable ride!
