A holder for your funnel. Well I'll be. I like that. Gonna have to make one for myself. Thank you so much for that awesome idea. Pretty cool.

Biggest part for me enjoying a progressive press is for processing my brass for competition. For loading, I’m not concerned about speed.
Dandy little funnel holder you have there. That’s smart. I do mine with an old-style funnel with my brass on a tray and sear while my SuperTrickler makes the next round’s charge.

Amazing how fast you can get going once you get into a rhythm!

I am amazed that the Lee bench primer is working, I have one and it never worked efficiently for me.

Yeah, I hear a lot of people hate on them, but mine has always treated me really well! I made a little block that I mounted it to so I don’t have to mount it to my bench. Maybe that helps because it shakes a little every time I let the handle up and possibly keeps the primers flowing down?

I run two Lee singles, a hornady powder measure, and that lee primer and it gets the job done once you get in that rhythm!

Haha thanks so much! I enjoy trying to find ways to speed up the loading process without loosing quality. All the rounds I loaded during this video will be used in a 1000 yard F Class match.

Show your funnel holder in more detail. I’m always fumbling around with mine.

i use a single, i do all cases 1 stage at a time. i primer all cases, then powder all cases, then bullet seat all cases
    for me it goes fast

If you try it like this, it will be WAY faster because you’re picking the same piece of brass up 3 times, where as I am only picking it up once. Time yourself doing 3 rounds your way from start to finish and see how many minutes it takes. You just saw me complete 3 rounds in one minute

@@stricklyreloading8494 apples and oranges for me as i prime on the press. i got the new rcbs supreme powder thrower and it is about 4 sec each round for powder, seating a bullet is about 4 sec per round, and primering is about 4 sec per round so when i get rocking and rolling that averages out say high side 5 sec each case by 60 sec is about 12 rounds per minute. could be 10 per min to be conservative. also i have to change out dies since its a singel stage press. i mainly load pistol rounds so and i use Lee Breech challenger press with quick change dies. so i have to use all 4 of my dies per round. this is also the reason i do all cases per die before switching dies then do all cases again, change die again. i see your way works for you but my way works best for me. on my rifle rounds precision is key and i take my time on each round so i do not go fast at all on those for best precision and accuracy and uniformity. keep up the good tho

@@jjgriffin3275 very nice! Yeah, I focus on the quality of ammo too. I’m using an Auto Trickler V3 which weighs the powder charge down to .02gn. The rounds you see me loading here will be used in a 1000 yard F Class match! And you may wanna recheck your math haha. Best I can figure you might get 4 rounds per minute if it takes you 5 seconds for each of the 3 processes. That’s 15 seconds per round, divided into 60 seconds in a minute. Like I said, just for kicks, the next time you’re loading some ammo, set a stop watch and see how long it takes you to load 3 rounds. Start to finish, from empty brass to a loaded round. Thanks for watching!
