I was in some park and somebody came with rock bands T-shirts and showed me.
One of those was Screaming for Vengeance by Judas Priest and the other was Made in Japan 🇯🇵 by Iron Maiden. I didn’t think 🤔 too much and picked Eddy with a samurai sword 🗡️.

The metal boys from Birmingham. Before they made a name for themselves, they regularly played around clubs and pubs in Birmingham city centre, which meant I was able,to see them on numerous occasions. I for one was delighted when they landed a recording contract and then began taking their music to the masses. This song is one of their finest..no keyboards..just pulsating guitar riffs and thundering drums. Sabina..a happy looking reaction..savouring the ground trembling groove.

the Fuel for Life tour, Dallas TX, is the best place to "REACT" to Priest, it's literally Judas Priest in their prime, and not just Halford, but the whole band. Halford hits the highest note ever recorded of him in "Love Bites" of that show, it's a G#6

The music never left my body and I have branched out to other genres of music as I have become older, but heavy metal will always be home and the most important.

Judas Priest created the look of heavy metal, wearing leather and studs all the way back on their 1978 release, Killing Machine (renamed Hell Bent For Leather for USA release) which has remained the staple to this day, as well as helped pioneer the twin guitar attack which really beefed up the sound. I've seen Priest 5 times, the earliest was the Turbo Lover tour, and then finally just 2 months ago. They still sound good, but nothing compares to when they were young and completely on fire.

Great choice of video. I'm 60 years old and saw this Judas Priest concert tour in 1983 in Phoenix Arizona USA. This was the "Screaming for Vengeance" tour. The lead singer Rob Halford lives in the Phoenix area and I've seen him around town and talked to him a few times. His voice is one of a kind and you are right I would love to join you in the time machine and live the 80's heavy metal scene all over again. It was so much fun and exciting. The screams are hard to do. I can do them sometimes. I played in bands in the 80's that never went anywhere. It's fun to sing along to these fun songs. The Judas Priest version of Green Manalishi also has some great screams in it and so does Victim of Changes. Check them out too.

Gez my dear! Haven't heard this song since my deployment to germany in 1984 (RCAC) Iron maiden, metallica.scorpians, acdc, van halen, were some of the bands we listened to while on patrols!! Heck even the soviets and west germans used to rock out when we would blow tunes out of the loud speakers! 😎😁

Love Priest. Saw them in Detroit last October (2022) First time I saw them was on the Turbo tour, also in Detroit. I want to say 1986 or right around there.

Just my opinion, but cooking for family and friends is so much more of a gift than just buying someone some knick-nack - you're creating something unique and sharing it with them which usually means more than just handing them something that anyone could do. Much more personal.
And Copenhagen is a beautiful city - I was fortunate to be able to play there in '89 at Ungdomshuset. Merry Christmas!

This was during the Screaming for Vengeance tour.I saw them live, and Iron Maiden was the opening act. 1983. They are unbelievable live. But to appreciate their greatness, listen to the studio version of the songs, then live.... Very close. Also, try Beyond the Realms of Death off of Stained Class album.

I've been a Judas Priest fan for a long time. If they bothered to play in my hometown I'd be all over it. Pretty sure Copenhagen has been a regular stop for the last 30 years. Go get some next time they're in town. Before Rob gives up the ghost.

I saw them " defenders of the faith "Nassau coliseum & 2 days later at Madison square garden. June 18 1984 . The show they got banned from for life. . I saw many concerts but never experienced a crowd that acted like that night. People were flipping out before the show .fights breaking out everywhere. Block busters & fireworks being thrown down into floor seats .people did get hurt. I thought they would cancel the show but it went on . At the end seat cushions ripped out & thrown onto stage. Like Frisbees everywhere 3' high across the stage. That recording is on utube. In the beginning you can hear a small clip of a couple of explosions just before show .that was not judas priest..its fireworks. ✌️
