Tim interviews Patrick Coffin about his recent video, which all but claims Benedict XVI is still pope: “7 Pieces of Evidence that Francis is an Antipope.” Tim asks Patrick about the critics of this video, and points out where he thinks they were incorrect and correct, allowing Patrick to stipulate.

By saying they are “courageous,” you are indicating the regime of Bergoglio is dangerous to those who oppose his agenda.

We love you Patrick...! You are a Good and Honest Man...! God Bless you...!
I’m so glad that Patrick Coffin got this opportunity to further explain his position. I’m still learning about canon law and tradition regarding Benedict and Francis…. And I personally don’t have a conclusive opinion on this topic. Just that we have a pope, and things are off kilter. Yes, Francis is the worse ‘pope’ in my lifetime. What I hate is that Francis has added to tainting the moral consciences of people in the world, leading to diabolical confusion in politics and religion, as well as very skewed paths to salvation which actually lead to perdition!
Well said!

St Francis of Assisi, circa 1226 ad-“a man NON CANONICALLY ELECTED will ascend to the papacy, ….. he will not be a true pastor but a DESTROYER.
Francis took the name of this very saint.
Jesus told Saint Francis to go rebuild His Church. Satan whispered in Pope Francis ear and told pope Francis to go destroy Jesus Church.
Susan Spalding - seems that way. Maybe St Francis had a vision that a future pope would take his name for that purpose.
59:34. Just FYI, universi dominici gregis is not "basically de fide." The term de fide pertains to teachings that are revealed by God in Sacred Scripture or Sacred Tradition. Universi dominici gregis is a papal document that deals with disciplinary aspects of how to elect a pope which can and was partially modified by Benedict XVI.
And if it's violated, the punishments still apply, namely excommunication.
Btw, you still didn't address paragraph 81 and Bergoglio excommunicating himself in 2006 BEFORE Benedict even resigned, and how an excommunicated person can be elected Pope.

Great show - thanks for letting Patrick clarify his position.
Great discussion! However, I will say it's sad that things have gotten so bad within the Church, that we actually have to have discussions like this. 🤦🏻♂️
@SM Really? Infallible sign of legitimacy? There exists such a thing? What would Catherine of Sienna say? Who has asked Francis to offer himself for the church?
I think that humor is always a great gift given by God, especially in times of madness. And to say to Patrick Coffin, who I deeply respect: to wait and see....is kind of humorous, especially considering Patrick's passion on 'this' topic!
But I also really admire you, Timothy Gordon. Great show! I also watched a bit of that Catholic Answers show about...as I saw it..laughing at Patrick Coffin. And I noted many of the comments that thought Patrick has gone off the deep end: makes me very sad that fellow Catholics thinks that it is perfectly acceptable to denigrate other Catholics like Patrick Coffin, whose intelligence and integrity can't be question.
Patrick, you have been a constant compass in my pursuit of truth and navigating modern day challenges.
Thank you for dealing with topics others wouldn't dare venture into. It is surprising that Catholics themselves reflect the current secular culture, they fear to confront things/signs and want to hold on to a mob censorship.
Thank you for taking on these issues and not being confined in a square box.

If a man is your compass you are no longer a Christian. Only Christ should be your compass. No wonder you think so highly of a Schismatic who is 100% wrong about the Papacy.
You're a unique and passionate one, P. Doetsch. I can tell by the many responses you have given to so many comments.

@@dous1492 There are only a few foundational questions that determine Catholicism. This is one of them. Once you leave the safe arms of Mother Church, there are endless ways for error and division. It is unfortunate that Patrick has fallen for this trap and that Tim gave him platform to air his scandalous doubts about the Church. It is a massive mistake on both of their parts for different reasons.
You hit the nail on the head that Catholics reflect secular culture. One of the ways this is manifesting is in the doubt many here are placing on the Magisterium as if it is an institution of man-made origin. Fortunately it is given by Christ and such doubt is a loss of faith in Christ's promise to leave us the Holy Spirit, even when things leak as bleak as they do today.

I've tried calling Marshall. There's nothing more I can do (other than pray for him).
@@RulesForRetrogrades 🙏
Beautiful, what you wrote. Really. I am ALWAYS open to reconcile with Taylor, although he's apparently not. We should do so. He's a brother in Christ and the two of us should REALLY be reconciled: A) for the purposes of our own souls; B) for the purposes of our joint efficacy in tandem. It needs to happen and I want it. Your pushing for it is a grace. But it requires truth. (I'm not sure if I can hit "return" to create paragraphs, so I will do so by means of ************) *************Here's what actually happened on Easter 2020, the true version, once for all. Abby's huge, terrifying brain surgery (hemispherectomy--disconnecting one half of the brain) happened earlier that week, Holy Week 2020, and we were still stuck in a horrible situation at the hospital when the Twitter imbroglio broke out. Whole fam was living in our RV, one mile away from Children's Hospital (CHOC), which wasn't in our hometown (we lived in it for almost the entire month of the surgery/recovery, because due to COVID only one parent was allowed in CHOC at a time). It was a truly heart rending time. ***************On Easter, a few days post-surgery, Abby was having a somewhat rough day of recovery and accordingly, I was busy tending to her and the other kids and DIDN'T EVEN KNOW about Taylor's pro-SSPX Twitter post or Dave's fraternal Twitter reply to it: both happened much earlier in the day. Dave charitably congratulated Taylor on receiving the Eucharist, but urged him to stipulate that the circumstances of his SSPX reception were highly conditional, so as not to scandalize his viewership). I had no clue about ANY of it. (It didn't concern me then and doesn't much now, frankly, although, for the record, Dave was right). ***************All I know is that when I checked Twitter from the hospital later that evening--completely dispirited and crushed from the week's events, from Abby's hospital bedside--Taylor's most rabid fans were calling Dave, Steph, me (our family) the ***nastiest*** names. It was truly despicable, and Taylor was sanctioning some (not all) of it by "liking" those comments, etc. Also hurtful was the fact that Taylor--a friend--had refused to call me to wish Abby or my family well; evidently, this was only compounded by the unexpected disagreement between Dave and Taylor, the latter of whom had been (I deem) very angry when Chris Plance (months earlier) had disagreed with Taylor on Twitter about random issues which I've forgotten; but it suffices to say that, months earlier when Taylor first became angry, Chris wasn't expressing my view then, as I vaguely remember disagreeing pretty starkly with Chris. ****************Although, on Easter, I agreed with Dave, I am not in charge of either of them and prompted neither he nor Chris to tweet, as many of Taylor's blindest witnesses have falsely alleged. No matter: whether I agreed with the criticism--as I did with Dave--or not--as I didn't agree with Chris--Taylor tends to become enraged at ***any*** public dissent, blaming even uninvolved parties and failing to distinguish between fair and unfair criticism. (That issue was not new; I'd seen it arise MUCH during the previous year.) ****************The next day, as an ostensible rescript to Dave's assertion that he needed Taylor's cell number or something, Taylor let an especially mortifying private fact out about Dave's family's living situation (which Dave had shared with him privately months before). It was a truly low blow. Neither Dave, his wife, Steph, nor I could believe it (they were visited the hospital that day). Whether or not it was done vindictively, in one of Taylor's image-protective rages, is immaterial. It was VERY public detraction. Dave very charitably called him once to work things out and try to arrange reconciliation. Taylor answered, but wouldn't have it. FOR THE RECORD, he's NEVER ONCE called or answered me by phone since this incident occurred, even though he had said publicly on Twitter that "Tim and I will work this out privately." I find that quite misleading. *****************Like I said above, I am 100% willing to accept his apology for these grievances, and put this all behind us. It can happen very, very expediently and expeditiously. Passionate men, myself included, make mistakes of passion. And while I made none in this particular situation, believe me when I say I've made THOUSANDS of such errors with other folks in other private forums that I deserve a bit of suffering for. As such, I'm more than willing to bury the hatchet with Taylor. I'm enthusiastic to do so, and it could easily be done, if only he would undo the public damage and privately work out the private. I pray for this. God bless everyone involved. Thanks again for your gentle words. Peace, Tim
Sorry your family had to go through that. Having disabled kids myself (they don’t have serious medical issues, but I know many families who have kids that do) I can imagine how stressful and, quite frankly, unnecessary all that drama was.

As I have always thought and said, Patrick Coffin is the most fair presenter of Catholic content. His position is worthy of respect and consideration. These questions need answers.
Patrick Coffin is a Schismatic clown.
@@p.doetsch6209 Link to your video arguing that. Or just don’t comment on things you don’t like.
@@mistermusik This is the video. He is in schism with Rome and denies acknowledging the Pope. He's outside the Church by his own words and doing. You can't remain Catholic and elevate yourself above the Magisterium. That schism happened in 1054 and you can join the East but you can't be Catholic.
@@p.doetsch6209 He absolutely acknowledges the Pope. But according to his thesis, it’s a different Pope from whom you acknowledge. If you live past Francis and the magisterium later declares Benedict’s resignation invalid, it would mean Coffin was right.
@@mistermusik This just goes to show how insane you people are. I will remind you Patrick himself said he isn't relying on his own assessment but that of others so he still wouldn't be "right". The Magisterium has spoken and it's a non-issue that only some spiritually sick people who want to cause scandal are creating for their own pride. The Church has never withdrawn a Papacy and it never will because Christ and His Church are indefectible. How can you not see that Schismatics are in no position to make judgments on what the Church has declared to be valid?
Thank you Tim for the Love and courage to talk about so important truth with Patrick. For me I agree 100% with Patrick about Francis not doing what a real Pope should be doing for the church integrity and witness to this world.

Watch R&T's recent video responding to this. Michael rips it to shreds.
@@rody3199 wouldn’t say he rips it to shreds. He basically says that Coffins evidence doesn’t matter without the church’s recognition.
Please explain how it makes sense. He claims that Benedict "outfoxes" everyone by retiring, explicitly saying that the See of Peter is vacant, affirming his successor for nearly a decade... to what end? Benedict is now 95. What is the final step in his master plan?
Also, if Francis is the anti-Pope, that means when Benedict dies, Patrick will necessarily be a sedevacantist. In fact, he will have to forever remain a sedevacantist since Francis' Cardinal appointments would have been invalid, meaning that no valid Pope could be elected.
@@mikazoftstrom2343 That's not right either. The reality is the Church has already pronounced who is Pope. No amount of "evidence" will change the Magisterium regarding what the Magisterium has already promulgated. You guys have this all backwards. The evidence is the Church has declared Pope Francis as Pope and no one can say otherwise.

Such a good program. Wish more minds could join in such kindly discussion of what has concerned every well catechised Catholic for the last decade. It was not too long ago that no one would say a negative word about Francis while he created chaos in such a deliberate way. What arguments that have been made by several bloggers deserve examining with complete honesty and patience. Add to this add the political parallels in the secular world and Covid overreach with it's compliance by Bishops, and all reactions should not surprise anyone. Shaming and blaming in the public arena is the enemy's game and a failure of charity. Truth will out. Christ loves his own and they will not be allowed to wander off, but they can be chased away by vitriol and name calling. Time to gather, not scatter.
Coffin sounds very logical here.
So sick of hearing that Benedict XVI was too stupid to resign properly from people who didn’t even realize the poor could resign before Pope B16 did it.

Excellent discussion- thank you. What a great intellectual and spiritual duo.
Patrick (& Mazza) is right on the money in regards to Benedict. By God's grace Benedict is still here to finish his role in the ultimate plan which only God is privy to but mysteriously is revealed to us. Remember: "there are 2 popes" and "the HOLY father will have much to suffer". Who is the "holy" father here? Another example of Bergoglio's deceitfulness: A friend was a seminarian in an Argentinian order. Bergoglio had been the spiritual director of the founder of the order for 30 years. Bergoglio called the seminary and wanted to speak with superior of the order. Instead of saying, this is Pope Francis and I would like to speak with Father..., he pretended to be someone calling from the Vatican Secretary of State. No one picked up at first on the call and Bergoglio left a voice mail. The seminarian who listened to the voice mail recognised Bergoglio and his allegedly being someone from the Sec. of State. The seminarian was quite puzzled that Bergoglio would not say who he really was in the message.

patrick coffin: for a long time i have understood the pope benedict xvi abdication situation in the same manner as you have. i thought i was alone in my view about it. thank you very much for confirming my understanding. this is indeed a holy mystery that we are slowly unraveling. regarding the papal clothing that pope benedict xvi wears: when he said 'there was no other clothing to be had' he was being silently honest: truly there was no other clothing he could consider wearing, other than papal clothing, and it was indeed a practical - rational - decision. pope benedict xvi is our pope in these apocalyptic times. and regarding the fact that pope francis has not visited nor will ever return to argentina, as he has said, it is because it is said that the catholics in argentina stopped supporting him when he was archbishop of buenos aires, and he knows that.
Tim, respect you and your work. Please let your guests speak with out interruption. Just a small suggestion
I agree with Patrick about everything...!
It is good to explain the distinction between "objective material heresy" and "subjective formal heresy."
It's the other way around: objective formal heresy and subjective material heresy.
@@francoisegregyi233 Objective vs Subjective:
Objective means something concerns the thing or object. Subjective means something concerns the person. When I make an objective judgement I judge facts or things or actions. When I make a subjective judgement I judge a person (which I do not want to do). Objective concerns the thing itself. Subjective means what something means to me.
Material vs. Formal:
Material means that something is there i.e. It exists. Formal means it is declared as such. If I say "Pope Francis" is a material heretic, that means, he has all the matter of a heretic. It can be proven, that many of his writings, or things that he said, are heretical. I would not dare to say he is a heretic (formal) for no one can judge the Pope and no one can judge his intentions or conscience. I see heresy, it is there (material), but one cannot say it is formal heresy. For instance, the Pope will say “according to tradition…” and then he proceeds to say something wrong. An example of formal heresy would be if he should say something like “Contrary to what the Council of Trent says, I tell you…” some heresy. - Fr. Gregory Hesse, S.T.D., J.C.D., S.T.L., J.C.L., Canon Lawyer, Doctor of Thomistic Theology,

Fantastic discussion as always. I agree with your point Tim. While Patrick has made a concise list, some explanations of those points are contradictory. It's something to think about. What I know for certain is that we don't know everything that goes on behind the curtain and we may never know. All that to say our Catholic family is still very confused with and disappointed in Pope Francis.
Patrick gets it . I stand with Patrick. I'm praying for him .
Do you know Patrick? Can you contact him & let him know popes didn’t wear white until the time of Pius V? This is basic knowledge…. Disgusting that Patrick doesn’t know this stuff.
As a relatively new (last Easter) convert to Catholicism--in part because of the wisdom, clarity, and boldness of both of these men--this thoughtful, gracious back-and-forth illustrates one of the many things that drew me to Mother Church. Contrary to the common notion most Protestants have about Catholicism, it's not a rigid structure of beliefs that have created a top-down monolith wherein the laity must "swallow and follow." Sure there are a small handful of dogmas and a carefully erected scaffolding of doctrines rooted in the early Church and reverently, gently fine-tuned over two millennia. But the structure of the Church supernaturally lives and breathes, encouraging its members to "chase the mystery" (Proverbs 25:2)...all as preparation to, for some of us, one day rule and reign with our Lord and His Mother over the new World to come.
Get out while u can. It's a false church

@@p.doetsch6209 it isn’t that he is head of the Church, it’s his lack of charity to those people to whom he should be a father. His children come for food and he gives them scorpions. He doesn’t seem to understand the concept of charity, yet he expects respect….like a dictator, not the Vicar of Christ.
Outstanding discussion!
Thank you for affirming my already intuited understanding that we are living under the “Ape of the Church “ spoken of in prophecy and by blessed Archbishop Fulton J Sheen.
I am with Patrick also. You present this so clearly in a simple yet intellectual way that makes all sense. Thank you for your honesty & clarity. Thank you both for this amazing discussion. As always thank you Stephanie for adding a bit of light heartedness.
This was so good. Thank you for hearing each other out! My prayers are with you both for Truth in these times… I am in agreement that the ‘ resignation’ of Pope B XVI was not complete. That Bergolio is an anti-Pope. The False Prophet.
I agree with Mr. Patrick Coffin !!!!
I hadn't heard Patrick's podcast but I tend to agree with his reasoning.
What an EXCELLENT show! Thanks, gentlemen (and Stephanie for your contributions). I tend to side with Pat in this exchange. We'll have to wait for the Lord's help to sort it out.
@@jacksparrow1057 ... huh?
Must've returned to the pirate ship.
Praise the Lord, for flesh and blood have not revealed these Truths to you, but Our Father who is in Heaven and who has never and will never abandon his Church!
God bless you Timothy and Patrick
Actually by NOT wanting the papal ring kissed he is EMPHATICALLY expressing DISRESPECT to his false office
Mr. Gordon & Mr. Coffin, Thank You both for this episode. Can you please address the prophecies of Our Lady Of Good Success in light of this topic you are discussing. Was not one that The Father would send a "destroyer" of the Faith as a chastisement (See: The Admirable Life of Mother Mariana) There is also talk of a "prelado" who will be sent to help restore the Faith. Thank you & May Our Lord Jesus Christ guide you both.
Fantastic conversation!
I agree with Coffin so far.
Bergoglio's motto is "Make a Mess". He should have that in Latin on his coat of arms. His name rhymes with the posh word for 'mess', namely 'imbroglio'.
Thank you Patrick and Tim, I have listened to you and your critics and I stand with you Patrick, Pope Francis has caused confusion in the Church. I have read about the San Galan Mafia and it explains a lot. Thank you Patrick.
Thank You for this dialogue, thought provoking.
Catholic answer lost me on using any medicines being taken derived from sinful action no matter how long ago they were made.
Mr. Coffin is very reasonable. Thank you both for your show..
